The best Thai in Fulham Palace Road so far!!!! Must try!
Amazing authentic Thai food in west London (Hammer smith and Fulham. Do not forget to try the specials mentioned on the board, especially the spicy chicken ka pau, green curry (the best in London), grilled prawns and weeping tiger. The food is freshly cooked from scratch and ingredients are of the highest quality .
Best lunch deal on weekends from 13.00 to 16.00.
Pre book in advance to avoid disappointment as its close to the Hammer smith Apollo theatre, Fulham stadium and Chelsea Fc and always full. Free parking after 17.00 opposite road( Beryl road) on weekdays and free on weekends.
Tried this restaurant last week with some friends. Very good service and nice waiters, and really good food! We all had different things and it was all delicious, good serving sizes and good value for money! Highly recommend if you are in the area.
We have this thing going on, my partner and I. Whenever we’re out for a meal, and find two dishes we’re both keen on, we get one each and compare our impressions; without fail, his tastes better than mine. This was no exception: I only had a forkful of his main, but immediately decided I’d return to Reun Thai just to have a whole portion. And I did - only that I'd forgotten what it was called. Even though my clues weren’t the most helpful, our waitress put up with them admirably, and pointed me towards the Gang Phed Fed Yang: a bowl of roasted duck in a sweet coconut milk sauce, drier than your usual Thai curry, but with meat just as tender. As good as I remembered; even better, perhaps, since I was having a massive helping of it. With sticky rice.
This has to be one of London's hidden gems! I've been visiting reun for the last 7 years and the food has always been consistently excellent, fresh tasting ingredients and authentic flavours. The service and staff are always very friendly, and the food represents very good value for money. As someone who has visited Thailand, the food at reun is just as good. If you enjoy thai food, you have to try this place, you won't be disappointed!
Gorgeous food, consistently high quality. Lovely friendly staff. Very good value for money.
Good food. Nice small and friendly, if a little overpriced.
As soon as I entered Reun Thai, I was taken aback by the friendliness of the staff! It is quite a small restaurant and was decorated in earthy tones. The wooden chairs were comfortable as they had seat cushions. The Pa
Tried this place on the way back from the gym tonight as it's always jam packed when I pass it, seems to be a good sign even though it's quite small.
It's very authentic, you can hear the kitchen sizzling in the background and there's a lovely positive and friendly vibe, almost as if you were temporarily transported to Thailand !
I only had a main course and decided to deviate from my usual thai red chicken curry. It's a really extensive menu for a small place and I went for hoh mok Kai, which is steamed chicken in red curry paste and coconut milk with egg and thai herbs according to the menu. A bit dry for my liking but I'm glad I tried something new. The quantity was enough for two very hungry people, maybe I look like I need beefing up !!
Anyway defo worth a trip for some very real Thai with great service.
Authentic Thai food and amazing service. The best Thai food I had in London so far after I had in Bangkok.
What can I say? If you like Thai food... WOW! Authentic, tasty & lovely service! Reasonable prices too!
Excellent friendly service! Tasty Thai food. Good value for money, and accommodating for slightly more difficult diets where possible. Great local Thai, will come again.
Today I’ve accidentally came across this restaurant at lunch time when I was visiting London with my mother, and I got to say, the food from this place is amazing. The flavours is just right for me and everything was cooked perfectly. The dessert - sticky rice with mango and coconut milk is just the best. Actually everything I’ve had at this restaurant are the best Thai food I’ve had across the U.K.
If you are in the area, definitely give this place a visit! I won’t talk about the price here, as I feel it’s not very important. But do give a visit if you want really good Thai food!
Accompanied a friend here for a birthday meal. The service was attentive, patient and prompt. The food was generously portioned and fairly tasty. My friend would describe me as a fussy eater and l nearly always eat vegetarian. My stir fried veggies were well cooked and they didn't use bell peppers by request. The cava we drank was very pleasant and we had a lovely evening chatting about my friends time she spent living in Thailand. The decor is average and the seating comfortable enough. It has a loyal local following who will probably bristle when they read this review. We all have our favourite cuisines. Thai isn't amongst mine. That said they have a wide menu others will be able to navigate better than me.
This was a BIG surprise. A relatively small and simple restaurant that produced wonderful food. The chef was even able to provide 'off-menu' items that were delightful.
The tempura prawns were enormous and so juicy. The deep-fried sea bass was so crispy, you could just crunch your way through bones. A party of 3 (it was my 75th birthday, and I've traversed the globe in that time) we all appreciated the food, the cooking and the presentation. Hats off to the chef!!!
What dishes do I recommend? All the slightly unusual ones! Try something new - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. At the end of it all, we didn't get that MSG bloat, and happily walked back down the Fulham Palace Road to Putney Bridge.
Ordered takeaway absolutely amazing food. One of the most delicious Pad Thai’s I’ve ever tried. Salt and pepper calamari also superb! I will be back, thank you Reun Thai!
10/10 food, service and atmosphere!!! Went for birthday lunch with a friend. Food was generous in portion serving, so generous we had to take some home! They cater well for vegetarians also. Will definitely return for another visit soon.
Good Thai food ordered from here. Waiting to be able to sit down and try more off the menu. So far, not the best pad Thai in the area taste-wise, but still a good dish, very light compared to the competitors in the area, didn't feel stuffed after eating it, very tasty prawn crackers, I loved them, same with spring rolls. We'll definitely be back!
UPDATE: went there for dinner. It is now my absolute n.1! So much better than the delivery, taste is great, portions and prices absolutely fair. Went back twice already!
We’ve eaten here a number of times on a Friday night and have always enjoyed it - always a very warm welcome and attentive service - food always so tasty and we’ve tried a lot of the menu now :) what a wonderful place and a must visit if you’re in the area for a great and tasty Thai - great curries!!!!
Fantastic Thai restaurant, lovely staff who were very welcoming
