Great place great food great staff.
Try their sweet potato fries they are AMAZING. I had the double cheese burger with bacon, everything was really good but i just wish the meat was juicier.. But overall great experience.
This was only my second visit to a Byron burger bar. Again, it was a fairly speedy visit during lunch hour. And again, I ordered a veggie burger @ £7.75 (grilled Portobello mushroom, roasted red pepper, goat’s cheese, baby spinach, tomato, red onion and aioli) and courgette fries @ £3.25. Veggie burger – Portobello mushroom + goat’s cheese too good to resist Courgette fries – remember to take a photo before hoovering them all up! In part, I ordered a veggie burger over a hamburger as I was going out for dinner in the evening so didn’t want to be too full (in case you missed it before, I find that too much meat at lunchtime sends me into a sleepy food coma). And in part because it’s proper delicious. Byron menu – proper hamburgers – proper veggie burgers too The verdict: thoroughly pleasing. And craft beers too. What’s not to enjoy? I just hope I can resist the veggie burgers enough to try a hamburger some day… Restaurant info: ~ Lardbutty rating: 4
One very tasty burger joint!
I popped in for lunch with a few friends one Monday lunchtime. It was quite early so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were friendly but happy to leave us to sit and chat which was nice.
For lunch I had a classic burger while my friends opted for 2 cheese burgers and we ordered a round of fries to share. They brought the food very quickly and it was all very nice. Burger was a good size so you could pick it up and bite into it so you don't need to eat it with a knife and fork like in some burger joints. The fries were also pipping hot with a nice level of salt, I like salty chips so I enjoyed them but my friend did comment she thought they were too salty.
Drinks wise I had a diet coke but one of my friends had a milkshake and I definitely had food envy - next time I'm getting a milkshake.
I'm on a mission to find London's best Green Chilli Burger - and thank goodness I literally walked past Byron at lunch time.
Great friendly service from a front of house manager with an (epic!) moustache, an attentive waitress and a warm reprieve from the blistering wind. I went for the Green Chilli Burger and a can of Beavertown Smoked Porter which proved an excellent combination.
The burger was moist, pink, hot, sweet and juicy - an excellent bun, delicious fries and of course the green chilli was enough to keep you interested but not too much to make it tedious. The smokey malt flavours of the smoked Porter nicely cut through the chilli, cheese and grease leaving me with a smile in my belly and on my face.
Well done Byron, that was a great burger.

It looks like Fred Smith‘s been busy again! The May special Miami Slice was launched and after the success of Mock Donald’s, he’s been working his little burger patterned socks off on the Juicy Lucy Byron Burger Club Night.
We absolutely loved Byron’s Mock Donald’s, it bought a smile to our faces and the whole experience was so cleverly planned out, right down to the packaging and visuals. So when we found out that the Byron Burger Club night #2 was going ahead I booked our tickets without really paying attention to what the £20 ticket would get us...

Good selection of burgers, they have lots of different cheeses you can add to your burger. They cook their burgers to medium which is good. Burgers range from 8- 13 pounds
The burgers are great (actually probably the best since I moved to London) but let's take a minute and talk about the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream on top... Yummy. I prefer it with their strawberrie ice cream, but if you go there definately try it! See picture below
The food is very good as in most Byron burgers however the service in this one is very slow. We tried ordering a few times and the waiter said he wasn't responsible for taking orders..and then he wouldn't get someone who was! Similar pointless delay for the bill as well. Good burger but not sure if the service can live up to this.
Good service, cold shakes, hot burgers.
Good service, tasty burgers. Byron has become a big chain and somewhat lost its edge in terms of inventiveness and constant changes on the menu, struggling to keep its mojo. Still, its a nice place to come for an hour with friends.
Burgers were really tasty and the service was great. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Service could of been a little faster to take our orders but understand that it was quite busy. Overall, brilliant food and service.
Always great burgers here. Went on National Burger day. We were warned there could be a 30 minute wait, which was fine and in fact it was only 15 mins for food. Brilliant service from everyone there, well worth visiting if you are around Spitalfields and you are hungry.
The burgers are tasty and well cooked and their craft beer is valid. Service is attentionate. They may have some kitchen problems though, as the last time I went the fire alarm went off due to some smoke.
Service a bit slow but great burgers
Top Tip, always go for the milkshake, just don't drink it all before you meal comes!
Burgers are very nice with a good selection, if getting milkshakes don't go overboard on the sides... made that mistake a few too many times!
Burgers don't get better than Byron. Consistently good moist and tasty. Best served medium rare with Byron sauce. Local beer on tap is also a must.
We stopped in for a late dinner after London Seo drinks organised by Ayima during SMX London. It was almost 11pm when we arrived but the waitress greeted us warmly and showed us to a booth. I was hungry so ordered cheese and bacon covered fries that were awesome followed by a chocolate milkshake.
Being hungry as it was so late I went with the Byron burger with no sauce or red onions and sweet potato fries for a side dish. My burger was simple amazing and wow the sweet potato fries were very very tasty.
Out waitress was super lovely and helpful as other staff they even said goodnight when we left. Would recommend this place for sure if you want a great burger place near Liverpool station. Sadly my phone ran out of battery so you have no photos to show how awesome my dinner was.
I would rate them above Shake Shack for their burgers for sure.
