I love this place, I'm in here 2-3 times a week, best veggie Indian, in fact best Indian. Great value, amazing diversity of dishes, it's great. Lots of people from my coworking space come here too.

I went to Ravi Shankar for a corporate meeting. As soon as I entered I was overwhelmed to enter into this place.

I loved the dal makhni and shahi paneer. The interiors and decors were very beautiful.

I would highly recommend you guys to go to this outlet.

The service was excellent. Efficient but not obtrusive. We only had a main course and soft drinks but the food was excellent, tasty and well presented. I had korma and my husband a lamb dish ( can't remember what!). The naan bread was delicious. The bill was very reasonable for the London suburbs

Amazing veg buffet...huge range of choice and authentic indian taste in london. Nice ambiance and great service. Sadly they dont have enough vati/ small bowls and they asked me not to use bowls as they dont have enough which means that i would end up mixing the range of dishes in the plate LoL. Can restaurant managment clarify how customers are suppose to take range of dishes in a plate togather without mixing them up....i mean without using magic seriously LoL.

Had the best Rava masala dosa here. The place is cozy and accessible, almost in the heart of London. My British friends too loved fhe food as it was customized per their taste n spiciness.... Recommended strongly.

One of the best restaurants in Central London if you are craving for Indian food... Amazing Achaari Paneer and Cheese or Garlic Naan... Must eat items :) ;) And an extra plus point is the desserts that they have in the menu from srikhand to gulaab jamun to gajar halwa... loved it :) :)

Ravi Shankars is still good, but not as good as it used to be. The decor is now tired and old looking, the lights are too bright, the tables now packed in like a diner, and the service perfunctory. The food is still good, though I will look for other Indian restaurants in London rather than return here.

Great Vegetarian Indian Food!. I used to eat here all of the time. This place had the best sagg aloo I have ever had. I loved their nann bread and at the time they did not have a liquor license so you could bring your own bottle.

We randomly decided to stop at this place for dinner as we saw a lot of crowd at this place happily enjoying their meal. After a quick glance at their menu, my partner went for the tasting menu and i went for their daily specials. The food quality was excellent and tasted perfect. It is reasonable on your pocket as well. Worth a visit!

This place is highly recommended even though they have a vegetarian menu. They have priced there food quite reasonably. They food tasted wonderful with various types of flavors. The service here is good. While we took our time to enjoy the food we were not rushed. In all, We had a lovely experience.

Are you looking for some lip smacking, tangy Indian snacks? This just the right place to be. Right from the variety of the food that is offered to the helpful staff to the pocket friendly menu you think of it and you have it. You can visit this on one of those occasions when you are hungry and you want to grab your supper!

Indian cuisine is one of my favorites, and I happened to visit this place a couple of weeks ago to have some healthy and delicious food. We were served the traditional Prasad and this food is consumed by the worshipers to feed both the body and the soul. The food is really low priced and includes the Prasad as well as a pudding, both of which are brilliantly prepared and tasted delicious.

If you are looking for some simple yet delicious South Indian food then this Indian Coffee House is the place to be. The humble furniture might seem a little disappointing in the beginning but this place is great value for money. As soon as you taste the Masala Dosa you will feel that you are transported to the South of India.

This is a very simplistic place in my opinion. The interiors are devoid of any unnecessary or forced allegiance to prove the Indian appeal, which is only to my liking. It is very inviting and attractive too. The menu has a varied and interesting range of dishes which is modified daily. The service is decent too. The lunch buffet is a must try and you just can not miss the gulab jamun, which is absolutely heavenly.

I, along with my group, visited this restaurant recently and found the menu quite extensive with lots of South Indian specialities. We ordered the Shankar Thali. I like the variety that a thali offers. It generally contains 5 dishes - a bowl of curry and rice and some of the things that I cannot remember right now. The food was very well-prepared and was hygienic. For dessert, I had Gulab Jamun which I liked very much. Overall, a very nice experience. Maybe I will try a dosa the next time I visit this restaurant.

Buffet at 7 quid, however, we were still hoping for faster service. Not disappointing us elsewhere, this place has marvellous Indian vegetarian food with a wide compass of pulses, salads and even desserts to savour that sweet tooth of yours!
Definitely a supreme way to eat without the hustle and bustle of the city.

In one line- this place has a good service and extremely tasty food.
The menu is extensive and very detailed leaving its patrons spoiled for choices.
You cannot visit this place with the intention of going slow and leisurely enjoy your meal. The service is very quick and almost rushed.
The tables though tiny for everything to be kept comfortably, do not bring down the otherwise pleasurable experience.
Really good place!

This place serves really delicious vegetarian food. The menu is quite an extensive one containing a lot of Indian cuisines. The décor is quite simple though it is the food that you go for which is of impeccable quality. Their bread and pulses are quite delicious and the prices are in a fairly reasonable range. I would strongly recommend you to try this place.

Had a great time here, mainly because of the awesome food. We went for the buffet and thus, there was a wide range of interesting and delicious options to be served. The service is a little disappointing with the staff inattentive, not bothered about the customers but only seem to appear while presenting the bill. The food was excellent, especially the meats and breads. The desserts were also quite good. I can't wait to visit this place again

This place is a good option if you want to have a scrumptious lunch buffet. The cuisine served is Indian, with must-haves like crispy pakoras, salads, breads, dosas, hot curries and mouth-watering desserts. There is a variety of different dishes every time, and the layout is not repetitive. The quality as well as the taste of the food is exceptional, and you might over indulge yourself here with the food. The place also provides great value for money. It is surely worth a visit.

This was one of the best vegetarian Indian restaurant I've ever been to. We opted for a buffet, which had a huge number of selections. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. I loved all the flavors that were offered and the spinach dish with mushrooms tasted great. They also offer a pretty decent dessert selection. I am definitely coming back to this place again and will suggest every vegetarian to try this place out as well.

This is a good value 'all you can eat' option in this area, and costs very less. It is usually busy and packed, but we were able to grab a seat. The server wasn't very friendly, but he wasn't rude either. As for the food, it's a buffet of all kinds of South Indian vegetarian options, and there is a lot to choose from. All are tasty and homely. They also has a decently large dessert collection. But the best part was the cost- it was so inexpensive. So, it does not have the best service or decor, but gives great value. I would definitely go again.

I was a regular to this restaurant and it never disappointed me both in terms of food as well as service. My regular choice was the naan bread which I must say was quite delicious. I did not find any problem with their service and the staff was also amiable.

The place otherwise being one having great decor and beautiful interiors, is also starting to get old and mundane. The lights are too bright and coming on. The service though also carried out without any real effort. The staff seems disinterested. The food is as good as ever, at least that is consistent. Losing charm for me though!

The food here was good, quite tasty and not very unhealthy. It wasn't really spicy either. All that said, the food lacked authenticity, since I've been to India, I can tell that food here tasted nothing like how they make it there. Not a bad place place, but don't go for traditional Indian food.

I have been here 2 or 3 times now and the food is always superb. Service is attentive yet restrained and its clean and tidy.

This is one of a handful of vegetarian Indian restaurants on this street. I have been to one other but like this one so much I returned.

Highly recommend the thali dish to sample a number of different flavours.

It isn't big so you can find you are rubbing backs with the person behind you but as long as you aren't going to get annoyed with being a little squashed its perfectly fine.

What an absolute find this place has been - just amazing Indian food in a great location, ambiance and at rock bottom prices.

Drummond street near Euston has a few Indian restaurants and most (maybe all) of them don't serve meat, so this is sort of vegetarian only street. Ravi Shankar has buffet lunch which I must say must not be missed. There are lots of items to choose from starters to mains and dessert. This place specialises in food which is often served as light snack, so the preparation retains the Indian spicy feel without the deep fry.

This place is often packed, so better be on time to enjoy a hearty lunch. If you haven't been here, you have to do so soon!

I love that I can go somewhere and not have to worry about cross contamination. My son and I visited here after a day of theatre and visiting Regent’s Park. The staff gave us a table without booking as we got there early when there was only one other occupied table. It gradually filed up during the two hours we were there. The only server genuinely friendly was the gentleman who spoke with my son a few times. The others barely acknowledged me when I was ordering or checking on our meal. The poppadoms were lovely. The onion bhajia’s were phenomenal. I didn’t really care for my saag aloo as it was too oily but the mushroom rice was absolutely delicious. The roti was tasty. My son had two mango lassis and he loved them. Normally I’d enjoy having that much time in a restaurant but it was very quiet yet it took too long to get our food. I did explain that we didn’t want to wait long between courses and the waiter said okay…okay apparently doesn’t mean this will be passed on to the kitchen. They automatically include a service charge then ask you if you’d like to add a tip. I understand there’s a cost of living crisis & I understand London is expensive but their prices aren’t cheap as it is! Adding a service charge then expecting a bigger tip isn't playing fair. Overall I did enjoy the food and would go again.

I had an absolutely fantastic meal here tonight, my first visit in probably more than a decade. Reading some of the negative reviews, I really thought we were taking a risk by returning. But the service was excellent, the food was fabulous, there was no weirdness about whether we were paying by cash or card (some common gripes), and overall it was as good as I always remember it being. We loitered for an hour or so after we had finished our food, and were never pressurised to move on. Of course we would have been happy to if there had been people waiting, but I think many of those complaining must have gone to a different restaurant than the place I greatly enjoyed this evening. Admittedly prices are higher than my last visit, but two of us had a three course meal, with three large beers between us (the alcohol licence is relatively new, I think!), and with service it came to £57.

Great paper dosas here, thin crispy fresh made & accompanied with sambhar, chutney, savory soup & potato masala. Tastiest dosas we've tried this side of the world. They also offer All You Can Eat Buffet for L12.95 on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Great place, awesome food!

Delicious vegetarian Indian food! Until 15:00 there is a great buffet with lots of different sauce and traditional Indian dishes! Great selection of salads, fruit and sweet! Extremely welcome and friendly atmosphere with good service and all this for only 6,9£ per person! If you are looking for a healthy and not very expensive lunch or dinner, this is a great choice! Highly recommend!

Nice restaurant, buffet is a bargain and you should definitely go on an empty stomach! Great selection of vegetarian food - it is exclusively vegetarian. Other menu items fantastic too, I recommend the Dosa's! On the downside, they like you to pay in cash only, unless your table pays together in one single card transaction. Waiters friendly too, although sometimes a little pushy to sell you extras. They like to be tipped too! Overall, very tasty food and good quality. I visit regularly.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Euston area. I've visited the restaurant for lunch buffet on many occasions and was never disappointed once. The selection of items from starters to sweets/desserts is good. It gets very busy at lunch and getting seats for a small group is difficult. Very good value for money.

This place is authentic. My friend "Amit"(not his real name) has always recommended this restaurant and it has never let us down. He knows good food. Great variety and a good buffet too. Excellent for a quick bite and more north and south Indian style dishes than your brick lane curry houses or Tayyabs. Recommend it. You will like it.
