We had beef rendang, beef dendeng, ketoprak, and ayam penyet, and all was satisfying! The new staffs are more friendly & professional than it used to be.. and the service is much more faster also. The new layout and tone also gives fresher feel. Congratulations on the re-opening!!! Definitely would go back and refer other friends to have a taste of Indonesian food here. Me my self? Will be back soon..

Good food, better than you'd expect from outside - or inside. Wouldn't cross London for it, but better than many, and ok price. Can come away smelling of food a bit after sitting inside with closed doors though, might be better enjoyed as delivery or take away. But - good flavours and well executed, better than you'd expect from the surroundings.

Delicious rendang & dendeng beef! Served with extra spicy exotic savoury soup (gulai/pakis vegetable). The cincau syrup could be better, though. Would love to come back again to taste the chicken cotto and ketoprak--anndd their newly served Japanese menu!

I stumbled across Japindo by chance, went into the restaurant and tried the special sushi roll and the Indonesian main dish which came with chicken, beef rendang, veg, rice and a side soup, it was very tasty and fresh. Today I ordered a takeaway via their website, went for the special rolls and both were on point, glad to find someone local that do food good/well, keep it up! 🍣

This has been a regular eating place for me over recent months. It may be off the beaten track but we'll worth the visit. The food is varied, tasty and prepared with all fresh ingredients. Personal favourite is the beef rendang!

Really lovely place for local, super cheap and hearty food! Service was great and fast, and portions were huge. Really great place to go if you're ever craving quick and casual Japanese/Indonesian food in Bermondsey. We got some drinks on the house too which was super nice of them. Would recommend the katsu curries and the vegetable tempura udon.

I was extremely surprised by the quality of their food. This was the only place that was open when I needed some food, so I walked in even though it wasn’t the most appealing from outside. I got a dish from the Indonesian menu and also a sushi roll. We came in right when it opened, and the man there was super accommodating & incredibly friendly. Our food was def fresh and SO YUMMY. I would visit again for sure.

The outside looked a bit dodgy, the inside looked VERY dodgy, but don't let that fool you. Food was delivered quickly, it was fresh and delicious. The sushi looked really great too (I was full at that point from my dish, but my friends really enjoyed it). Portions are massive and the prices are really good, left me surprised considering the quality of the food. Ignore how the place looks and go dine there one day.

This isn't high street dining by any means. The rice is a bit overcooked and the Indonesian dishes end up tasting similar across the board, but you also get huge portions and the overall impression is of getting a home-cooked meal. The prawn crackers are excellent, by the way. Home made, with just the right amount of spice.

Unexpected and fantastic experience! Food is outstandingly- authentic and full of flavour, meats were perfectly cooked and super yummy. Beer is cold and service was super friendly. Table arrangement is a bit weird, but it is a comfy colourful little place . We live around the corner and will definitely be back soon!

This place now does sushi and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! Ordered the sushi set on the chef's recommendation - was so FRESH and DELICIOUS! Well worth trying!!! I will be coming back to get my weekly sushi fix, as good sushi is hard to find! Their Indonesian food is also awesome, lots of flavour. This place is definitely a favourite!
