Bustling! This restaurant has excellent food and a great atmosphere. Meals are hot and filling, and staff are friendly and careful (we have an odd allergy in the group, so they checked over the ingredients before the meal). Spicy meals are actually spicy and you can add to your meal as you go. Pretty busy so may want to call ahead of time to check seating availability, or if you are alright with sitting/ eating outside there is usually room under the covered patio. Happy eating :)
Was served by Dani and Anthony who were both excellent at their job! Anthony deserves a promotion because of how polite and experienced he was at serving me and managing his customers! With my experience as a restaurant manager myself these boys are both excellent! And give Dani a raise!
The food here is pretty good, and the location is also nice. The service leaves a lot to be desired though. Mostly staff who don’t care at all and never smile to the customers. …and the heavy metal music is not to everyone’s liking. But might return at some point for the food.

It's one of the best Raman places in town. I love their Pork Pork Chilli. It comes with a huge Chili pepper on the bowl. Also love the Crispy Duck Bun.(I finished it in a sec before get a chance to take a photo. :)) Alejandro was our server tonight. He provide 5 stars service! Friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back for more Raman. 👍🏻
today i dragged my boyfriend into bone daddies before we went to the theatre- and we ate the most delicious FoOOOd!!!!!! <3 i ordered the spicy miso ramen with added extras :3 - an extra charsui, an egg and some nori. the flaVOURS were top tier. it was the most delicious experience. we shared some wings and the sauce slapped fr.
our server michael was super helpful and quick to help us- cheers for the good time!!!!!

Me and my friends went here for the first time, the staff are Very nice. The chicken was halal. So we ordered mainly chicken ramen dishes and chicken sides and edamame beans, which were all really good and flavorful. Their portion size is also filling, but not to a sickening point. We sat outside so it was nice a breezy. All round nice experience.

I liked the fact that you can add your own chilli sauce and crush garlic pieces and the tonkotsu was really good I did have to add extra chilli oil, that is personal preference though.
I came expecting good noodles and was blown away by the flavor, service, and experience you get when you sit down to eat. This restaurant has served me the best food since arriving in England a month ago. The only down side was the streets were packed with locals, tourists, and other on lookers and this place fills up quick. If you like me you’re looking for some amazing food and some people watching this is a must.
Amazing food! I got the mushroom ramen and a fried chicken bun at the server’s suggestion. Both were delicious! Hands down one of the best meals I had in London! Bathroom not very clean but food made up for it!
We had ramen here our first night in London. No one recommended this place we just happened to walk by and we love ramen. They have outdoor sitting but they were already closing it when we got there. We sat inside at one of the long tables. The waiter was very mice and recommended pork pork chili for my husband and I got T22 a chicken ramen. We also got two Bao buns fried chicken and chicken katsu. To say it was good is an understatement. The bao katsu is a must try!

I have included pics of every bowl of ramen I have tried at Bone Daddies - not just at James St but also the Soho location and Old Street location.
As you can tell from my profile, I don't live in London anymore but for the four years I was in London, Bone Daddies was my favourite ramen place ever. Before I left, I visited very often and hence have collected a lot of pictures of the same bowl of ramen! My favourite ramen bowl at BD is the yuzu tonkotsu. I tried it for the first time with my Japanese ex-colleague and she loved it a lot. Since then, my go-to order here is the yuzu tonkotsu with a side of padron peppers and pickled ginger (I love having it on the side because I am a huge ginger fan). I love the yuzu tonkotsu because it comes with their signature pork tonkotsu broth and the yuzu adds a beautiful citrus to cut through the fatty nature of the broth and fried chashu pork. I cannot recommend the little fried bits of chashu enough - they are crispy and fatty and fill your mouth will flavour bursts. Put in a ton of sesame like I do and the creamy texture will give you incentive to finish a full bowl of broth. Every rainy day in London is a good excuse to dine at Bone Daddies because of how hearty the meal will be.
Some of the other ramen I have tried here include some of their special bowls (monthly refresh), T22, Tantanmen 2 and Tonkotsu. All of their meat is so fresh and absolutely delicious. Please expand to the US!

Absolutely fabulously delicious as always. Best ramen in town. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years and mannnnn I tell ya, licking fingers, elbows and more. I’ve actually searched for ramen for a years, I’ve tried all in central London and this is the BEST. God loves me 🙏☺️
