Very authentic. Almost always the only people dining here but I’ve been 5 times and it’s amazing every time. Make sure you order the moussaka and the falafel. Everything else is also great, not had a bad dish! Just don’t be put off when you may be the only people there. Can sit outside too!

Went for dinner and ordered grape leaves, mixed kebab, pita, meat hummus, baba ganoush, and moussaka. We asked what we were missing and were recommended the tabouleh, which was a perfect suggestion!! Everything was delicious!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! A great hidden gem in a central location away from the hustle and bustle. Food was excellent and the staff were amazing. Very reasonably priced too. I loved it here, I cannot wait to go back.

My partner is Egyptian and this is a quite authentic place. Lovely Egyptian family running this joint. I have never tasted stuffed vine leaves as delicious as this. The best I have ever tasted in my life. The Egyptian nan was making them. Soooooo good! Everything was delicious. End it with a Egyptian coffee which is brewed with cardamon.

We stopped by this place on a lazy afternoon while visiting 221B Baker Street, the home of the famous fictional detective - Sherlock Holmes. I ordered Egyptian style chicken kebabs and they were really cooked to perfection. For anyone in the area visiting the Sherlock Holmes museum, please stop by for a meal here. Really great service and authentic Egyptian food.

Great authentic Egyptian cuisine, food was absolutely amazing! I went with my friends and we got a variety of dishes. The staff is really friendly, the food tastes incredible, and the atmosphere is aesthetic with Egyptian music. I would recommend this restaurant to both foreigners and Egyptians who miss the taste of true Egyptian dishes! We will definitely be going again. CASH ONLY

Prior to eating at Ali Baba, I intended to be quite tough with my feedback due to my background and experience with the Egyptian cuisine and rarely finding a proper authentic place outside egypt. However, I was really shook. Really good Egyptian food, specially the cabbage leaves and mombar as starters and the taameya (Egyptian falafel). The grills were super good and the macarona bechamel was very tasty. The service was super warm and friendly and they were playing some classic Om Kalthoum in the background. Highly recommended!
