Huge selection of tea, it’s very helpful when staff took their time to answer some of our questions. The place was empty when we came in the morning but I believe it will surely get busy later on in the day. Perhaps that’s why they turned on the radio. It was playing such silly songs from the 90s and early 2000s with the occasional radio DJ rambling. In my opinion, the radio music cheapens the atmosphere of the place. It would be better to have some tasteful sounds befitting a tea time atmosphere if you get what I mean.

Heaven on earth for me was at the London Tea Exchange today at High Tea. Mahbub's advice and recommendations were great. He knew better than we did what would taste and he hit the spot. The service from Jasmin was extremely friendly and gracious and I felt like I was part of the family. Oh, and the tea and food were extraordinary delicious!

My very first afternoon tea/high tea experience in London (wait no, actually in my life!) was a success. I was served by lovely lady Kulsama and another man whose name I cannot remember now. I chose the green tea jasmine tea, which smelled and tasted super good. This was an afternoon tea for one, and I could not finish everything because it was just too much and too filling for me. Sandwiches were good and everything was halal (extra point for this!). Scone with strawberry jam was nice too, but the butter/cream was really hard (not sure if that is normal, I am no British). The vegan cake was too sweet for me but not bad. The baklava was nice, not too sweet. They also gave me a gift of 3 tea bag samples, lovely. Overall a nice experience. The only minus point is that I had to walk a bit far from the closest bus/underground stop to reach this place. Not sure if I would like to go again, but I would definitely say go for it if you want to experience a halal afternoon tea in London!

My friend and I had a great experience here. We got the afternoon tea for 2 which was delicious and really filling. We chose the sea blossom tea and pistachio and truffle tea - both were lovely. There is such a wide variety of teas to choose from so I will definitely be coming back to try more! The customer service was 10/10. This place felt extremely authentic and you can tell the owners have a genuine passion for what they do, which was lovely to see. Definitely give this place a go if you love tea and want to try flavours that aren’t so common. I already want to go again! :)

I visited today with my best friend. We visited as a treat for both of us as a birthday treat. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff. The actual shop was amazing looking, very organised and it felt amazing to look around. I didn't even know where to look. We were seated and given the menu. We went for the afternoon tea for 2 and were asked to select the teas we wanted. We had a look around and could also smell the fragrances of the teas before we decided which one to try. They have such a big variety so we were abit lost as to which one to order so we asked Yasmin for her input. She recommended quite a few and we managed to narrow it down to the 2 we liked. The afternoon tea was absolutely amazing! The sandwiches were nice, the cakes and scones and tea were all so nice. It was abit to much to finish so we took the remaining items home. They even bought us a birthday cake and sang us both happy birthday which was absolutely lovely and made it felt even more special Yasmin was always around to answer all our silly questions and she was super informative. We had an amazing time and most definitely would recommend and be back back soon. Thanks Yasmin and your colleagues you really made us feel welcome. See you very soon x

Alhamdullilah had a lovely afternoon tea experience today the teas were outstanding (coconut and chocolate tea / mint) the sandwiches were very good. I'm not sure if the Chocolate/Victoria sponge cakes were home made as they were on the dry side but other then that had a great time. very friendly family run place too.

Wonderful experience at London Tea exchange with Kulsama. Great expertise in explaining all the different teas and so many different kinds to try. We tried a Ceylon tea from Sri Lanka, The Flower of Asia. Very floral, light and delicate taste. If you love tea you have to visit this place.
