I came here with my husband about a year ago and had a wonderful time. loved the dishes and my husband loved the services too. I may visit again for my valentines date with him this year xP I am surprised that it was just over 2 star rating here... personally i would give it 5 stars =D

I loved it. Lots of different Indian restaurants in the area but each has its own different take on things and Aniseed is no different. However, the food is in excellent, the prices very reasonable, the service excellent, and the restaurant and it's decor very well done and the place is spotless. We had mixed appetizers, special house brianni, chicken korma and sesame naan. All excellent and most tasty, and the spice level perfect. Parking on the street is tight but can be found, and it is handicap accessible and friendly. Highly recommended.

Got a Just Eat order from here and wowz absolutely blown away. The Bombay Aloo, Chicken Bhuna, Chicken Chaat and even the Pilau Rice were absolutely wonderful. All absolutely exceeded my expectations and made for the best food order I've ever had. It all came to just under £17 (As of October 2023) which I'd say was brilliant value for what I got. Will definitely be making an order from here again when I'm in East London again as this place really was outstanding in every way of the word.

Delicious food, and staff very nice. The kitchen is open until late. I would give it 5 stars if the paratha was lighter and more flaky!

Despite an early menu mix up, service was good and the food better. Despite comments about the price, pappadums, rice, curry and naan (shared) and 2 drinks each came to 39.99. If this is expensive to you, you haven't eaten out lately

A decent restaurant to have dinner, atmosphere was bit dull however service was alright. I wouldn't say its very authentic Indian food as they advertise but they are very close.

Incredible food. Good service. Don’t let the prices fool you - that’s excluding rice/naan or any other sides. Adds up quickly to make it an expensive meal.

A little hidden gem for tasty bengalese authentic tasty food. I ordered Chicken Chaat for starter very tasty and not over spiced. For main I ordered Special Biryani with Madras sauce again not over spiced and could taste the tomato base. It’s located just outside Canary Wharf so not full of suits and is positioned nicely for people who like to eat and chat.

Ordered some sides to-go. Onion Bhaji and Peshawari naans - great quality, great portion sizes. The naans are massive and heavy, much better than other places. You probably cannot go past 2 naans, especially when you're having a side & drink. Friendlt staff and speedy preparation time - it was ready in 10mins. I'd definitely recommend.
