This is one of the best places in the world!!! I had to soft-boiled eggs and sourdough soldiers and fresh squeezed orange juice I've never felt so good eating breakfast in my life. Service and staff are amazing, atmosphere is great. My favorite London souvenir is the egg cosie. Given the option it would be worth it to fly to London just to eat at Ginger & White!!! If you are anywhere near Ginger & White and you haven't been don't waste another second of your life go and be well served and well fed.

What a beautiful experience. Staff, shop and food were all fantastic...as well as the AMAZING coffee! Think that’s one of the best flat whites I’ve had. Can’t recommend enough.

I just love this place, came here while I was wandering through Belsize Park, it was a recommendation and it was the best one I've ever got. Go on like this and I promise to come back and maybe bring some friends as well

Ginger & White is a delightful little cafe, with tasty, healthy food options and some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. I pop in there any time I am in the area. Highly recommended!

Amazing cute lil cozy place for breakfast, brunch or coffee. The staff is friendly and serves with a smile.
They serve lovely pancakes which is served beautifully with blueberries, bananas, crunchies and some syrup besides maple syrup.
Scrambled eggs on sour bread with roasted tomatoes was also hot n fresh.
The place seems pet friendly as many of the visitors got their pets along.
Definitely deserves a next visit :)

After a brief wait, we settled down outside for a crisp winters Sunday breakfast. The service was efficient, warm and casual. Something you become familiar when it is an Aussie at the helm. The coffee brew was exceptionally well made. The flavour from the mix of various beans was something special. The half boiled eggs were perfectly done along with a Small T cosy keeping one warm, whilst you had the other. Enjoyed it.

Best coffee I've had in London. Went back for a second and third cup. Awesome and efficient service. Naturally, was unsurprised to learn the place is owned by an Aussie.

A cosy cafe tucked away in a quiet lane. Light and airy space and great staff and service. A great place for a quiet coffee and a book - I wished that my eggy soldiers would never end.

Great coffee, hit and miss food. Every cup of coffee i have had here has been perfect. A great flat white and expressos.

The food looks fantastic, but does not always deliver. Cupcakes are quite dry and tasteless, but the muffins are amazing ( i am assuming because they are probably fresh and made on the premises?). Sandwiches are tasty, but the home made baked beans were slightly better than from a can.

Still not sold, and as it is not exactly cheap, i will probably just stick to the coffee.

Nestled down a quiet countryesque lane next to houses built for our shorter predecessors, Ginger and White boasts a cute range of breakfast, brunch, teas and coffee.

I don't often get up to Hampstead and whenever I do I am struck down with a severe case of suburb-envy. Oh it is lovely up there. I had to go and pick up my friend Neil and I was a bit early so decided to park (only possible because it was a Sunday) and s

Ginger and White is a lovely coffee place in the heart of Hampstead. The place is large and spacious and they have large communal tables at which they leave jams and spreads you can use as you want. The atmosphere is really nice and rustic and almost gives you the feeling of being at home.

The service here is great, you order at the counter and even if you've gotten a long confusing order the waitresses are really kind and they bring everything out pretty rapidly. The coffee they serve is pretty good, but I especially liked their cakes. I definitely recommend trying the carrot cake which I really couldn't get enough of.

Ginger & White ticks all the boxes: all day breakfast, square mile coffee, and truly amazing blackberry and pistachio cinnamon buns.
Before the buns though, came perfectly soft boiled eggs (wearing little woollen hats no less, this cuteness seemed a little bit like overkill but I can look past that when faced with good eggs) that are served with a choice of marmite - a personal favourite - or gentleman's relish. I went for the relish because, not only do I like to order things that I don't typically have at home, but I was also very excited by the idea of being allowed to eat anchovies at breakfast time. It was the right thing to do.
I accompanied this with a pot of rooibos tea but if you're hankering for caffeine then Ginger & White is just screaming out for you to sit, have a coffee and read a book.

My favourite way to spend a Sunday is reading in a coffee shop. I like the gentle buzz of people chatting as I either get through a good chunk of my book or read a magazine cover to cover. As such I am always on the lookout for the perfect reading coffee shop. My requirements include very good flat whites, minimal squealing children, comfy chairs and a menu that is not limited to paninis.
Right now my favourite place is Ginger and White in Hampstead (although I have also been known to visit the new England’s Lane branch. It has a nice mezzanine level and while it has a tendency to get chock full of screaming prams during the week, it is much quieter at the weekends. However, last time I was there I had to watch a woman order a decaf skinny cappuccino and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with no butter. WHAT IS THE POINT? She complained the eggs were dry and looked miserable. I wonder why.) There is a nice leather chair in the corner, the coffee is Square Mile and very very good, and the food is simple antipodean by way of a British butcher. There is also a rather good looking Australian waiter who likes chatting about books. Bonus.

While I have had most of the menu at some point or another, the dishes I keep coming back to are the boiled eggs with crusty bread and gentleman’s relish and the homemade baked beans with chorizo, feta and parsley. They also have an excellent selection of cakes, including their signature Ginger Loaf, and the carrot cake is one of the best I have tried (and I’ve tried a LOT).

The only negatives are that I have to walk up a pretty big hill in order to get there, and that sometimes, despite my best stealthy efforts, I can’t always get to the chair in the corner. This has meant that I have inadvertently found myself sat on a sofa surrounded by women having a rather too detailed conversation about their babies’ bowel movements. Not ideal. My search for the perfect coffee shop continues…

Hampstead is the site of the original of the Ginger and White cafes - the other two can be found in Soho and Belsize Park. They serve simple, homely breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and cakes which, although good, are not amazing. Their coffee (they use Square Mile Beans) is the real draw card, and the staff will even grind beans for home users. The downside of this cafe is that it is usually heaving on the weekends. By promoting itself as 'child friendly', you can be assured that over-excited children will provide the background music, and that navigating the strollers will test your agility. Best to go midweek when the rascals are at day-care!

It's a lovely place for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The setting is great for meeting friends or just dining alone. Very cosy, very warm feeling. Pretty well staffed as i came on a weekend. It can get very busy during lunch. They have a nice outdoor seating in the case of good weather to enjoy some sun. Love both breakfast, cakes and lunch specials here. The green shake and coffee are nice too. Will be back again!

Lovely breakfast here, especially sat outside watching passers by on a sunny day. Bacon sandwiches were generous with the bacon and the avocado toast was really fresh and tasty! Great service too; a constant effort turning tables due to the popularity of this place.

Had breakfast there with a relatively large group and we were seated outside. What a wonderful little place. They serve all-day breakfast and they do it really well. I ordered the shakshuka and it was fantastic. Highly recommended.

G&W is a cosy little cafe in the alleyways of hampstead, it’s usually busy so they have a smart option of G&W at the window which is just nearby to get a quick takeaway - we tried beetroot latte which was okay , maybe the hot latte would have been better than the iced one, but the power shake was really good. Nice cafe to visit if you are around.

Great place to have a simple but delicious food or drinks! Smoothies are definitely my favourite on the menu. Blankets if you need one & heaters! Easy access. Very friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere.

Honestly, this place has the most tasty food in the world – I’m not exaggerating. Okay, I had one of the sandwiches (Blythburgh Bacon) and shared a porridge with my partner. She had the Shakshuka. We literally had to have a break after each bite to express how astonishing and tasty the things were. The staff is also incredibly kind and I can’t forget to tell they also have super fresh squeezed Orange juice. So please, visit this place.

Top cafe in Hampstead Heath, staff were super energetic and friendly. Service was also quick, and the carrot cake was fantastic. Enough for 2 people.

Nice spot for a brunch or a coffe. Their Turkish eggs were really good as well as the dessert. I wasn’t a fan of the coffee though. Recommended!

A snug little coffee house in Hampstead, just off the high street. Visited in search of breakfast-lunch food. They offer tasty, well seasoned, hearty breakfast items ranging from shakshouka to melty tuna sandwiches. They also serve one of the best cheesecakes I've experienced in London so far. 10/10, will return for cheesecake and coffee.
