Spread Eagle - London - Photo album

Great pub, great atmosphere and a great owner. Landlord set up a charity day where he got up and sung all night! Amazing place to visit if your a tourist looking for a traditional English pub
Great food, great atmosphere but questionable service. Stopped here for late lunch after touring London as it was centrally located (close to Oxford Street) and relatively quiet despite the rush hours. The food was actually great! I had the large fish & chips and I couldn't fault anything - it was
Decent little pub tucked away off busy Oxford Street. Service is slow when there's lots of people, but on subsequent rounds it became quieter and were able to get a drink pretty quickly. They have TV screens here too, and a strong AC indoors for the hotter days.
Absolutely smashing place with really lovely welcoming and very friendly staff, just off Oxford Street, serving well-cellared beer and a really good portion of fish and chips that we three weary shoppers split between us. Suitably replete we were able to launch into more shopping. Okay, I stayed “to
A delightful quaint pub just off Oxford street. The beer is sparkling and cold, the atmosphere spicy and electric! The staff are wonderful, attentive and jolly. A very happy place to pay a visit, I recommend. Sports fans can take advantage of the big screens, both in the ground floor bar and in the
Very friendly service asked for a dish that had sold out - shows it was a top pick - staff were really nice and directed me to another good dish which was one of the best pies I have had in a while!!! Beer was good with amazing service and friendly patrons who chatted with us until our food came to
Great pub & the staff/Manager (nice guy) where all very friendly & so welcoming. Very tasty food & a cracking pint of Guinness...Liverpool Gin a total winner, makes such a change to go to a pub in Central London & get such a warm/real welcome & great atmosphere. Thanks for a great evening.
We enjoyed it very much. The roasted chicken was delicious, as was the fish and chips.
Presently surprised with this venue as it's just off Oxford Street but has a nice comfy atmosphere. This is a good place to watch live premiership games as well, with enough screens so you're not craning your neck. We didn't eat here so can't say how the food is but we'll be back here again to watch
If you are a fan of Liverpool football club, this pub is for you! They broadcast the LFC games here. Plan for a packed place on game day. We went on a day when there wasn't a Liverpool match so it wasn't packed. There is outdoor seating, as well as indoor. Great selection of food on their menu and
Really friendly pub which we visited on the way back from a Hyde Park concert at night. My wine wasn't the best but certainly not the worst I've ever had and was still very welcome after a great afternoon and evening singing, the beer was good. We didn't have any food so can't make comment on this
was doing my shopping routine when I decide to stop to the spread eagle as usual… The atmosphere it’s great Kinga, Paul or Millie always make you feel at home, you never want to leave… You are really lucky to stop there when there’s is a Liverpool game (always if you are able to get in!), the experi
Called in for a pint, just opened, was having card machine trouble but no problem paid cash. 2 pints peroni. Altough pub looked clean and tidy, service was good, the pints had a sour taste, assuming they were either like that because sat in pipes over night or were due to clean lines. But overall wo
Great fish and chips stop in the middle of Oxford street ! Wonderful local British atmosphere
Very good English food! The fish and chips is really nice and crispy, the chicken pie was yummy and the macaroni cheese very good. The venue is beautiful and close to the subway.
Decent pub off the main Oxford Street. Nice atmosphere and the food is OK as well.
I had a perfect crispy fish & chips With reasonable price Friendly kind staffs. First floor is traditional pub - full of people, beers & talks. nice noise :) Second floor is quiet. It was little bit cold seat near window Maybe because of old building :-)
Great pub, just off Oxford Street. It's a good atmosphere. Nice seating area outside.
