We visited here twice with my boyfriend and had the best time! Cheap prices, awesome food and the best service we had in London. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We'll be coming back for sure!
Been here loads of times over the years and has never failed to please. Excellent food at reasonable prices.

Great service, great food, good aircon. Thanks
This place serves one of the best Thai food in London. The staff is very polite, the food is awsome and the price is not very high! I would recommend their Tom yum gong soup and coconut rice.
Best Thai restaurant in London! Amazing food and quick service. Love the green curry! I recommend this place! I have try several dishes here and they are all delicious
The most amazing thai food I've ever had! I've been to the really expensive thai restaurants, but I still think that nothing beats Mudmee's authenticity and rich thai flavors. Always satisfied after eating here! The thai green curry, penang curry, and their nasi goreng are absolutely amazing! Shouldn't miss this gem of a restaurant when in London! Absolutely fantastic
There are not many central places where you have to call up and make a reservation, because there is no electronic system. And it is rare that you see orders being taken on the the old school waiters pad. It is a re-assuring thing at Mudmee, because it means that the concept has not been tainted by the cool and the now. Mudmee is a cute little Thai restaurant just off a lane by Bishopsgate. On Artillery Passage, you discover cute pubs, hairdressers and other surprises which are quaintly hidden away from the busy access area to Liverpool Street station and this is home to Mudmee.

We were greeted by a confident tiny woman who was obviously in charge. She knew the flow of the room, timings on tables and availability. We settled on a corner table and were given the menus to study. We ordered a bottle of wine to share and due to our hunger, knew that we were in for a two courser. All the thai favourites are here and with the kitchen within our eyeline, we could see the Chefs busying themselves freshly creating each dish.
To start, it was steamed dumplings of minced chicken, crab sticks, prawn, bamboo shoots, mushroom, water chestnut wrapped with a delicate wonton skin with taramind dipping sauce. We also ordered king prawns marinated in garlic and coriander root wrapped with rice pastry served with sweet chilli sauce. Whilst this particular prawn dish may sound like it has a soft shell (well I thought anyway), the wrapping is crunchy, so be aware. The dumplings in particular were gorgeous. I always struggle to find the right descriptive words without sounding poncey or re-using the same all of the time, but to be honest, I prefer to use my own interpretation of how I felt and if it seems samey, then too bad.
For Main course it was the obligatory pad Thai. Having been to Bangkok and Ko Samui, I know this as being a popular street food and casual dish at eateries. It is made up of stir fried rice stick noodles with king prawns, egg, beansprouts, dried shrimps, sping onions and ground peanuts. It has a sweetness to it which I like. Sometimes you can have it with a bit of a kick with chilli, but here it was quite mild. Eleanor, who introduced me to Mudmee, had the green Thai curry with chicken, another staple dish of Thai cuisine. Smothered over sticky rice, she was a happy camper.
Mudmee is a welcome South Eastern Asian surprise in an area which just down the road, is heavily populated with Vietnamese restaurants. Furthermore, it is not a chain, it is independent, ran by a Thai team with non nonsense decor or service, just good food at an affordable price.
Authentic Thai. We were in the area and the chicken served there is halal, so we went in and ordered Tomyam, green curry chicken and fried rice. All was great and delicious and most importantly, spicy!!
Great little hidden gem. My favourite thai place this side of London. Family run, authentic. Go for the green papaya salad - it doesn't disappont :) Follow with one of the many curries they have on the menu. Vegetarians are well looked after too.
Lovely little family run restaurant tucked away in Liverpool street. The food arrives fast and tastes amazing. A great selection of food all at very reasonable prices. I had a 2 course meal for 2 with soft drinks for £30. As it is only a small restaurant do be prepared to sit quite close by to other diners. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere must eat here!!
Amid the hustle and bustle of the City down a little lane just off Bishopsgate lies my little gem - Mudmee. Serving up delicious food, this place has become a real regular cheap eats spot for me over the years after work or even for an extended lunch.
The restaurant is nothing if not small and tables are placed quite close together and due in part to its popularity, you are expected to vacate your table shortly after you finish. Coupled with the fact that meals come out pretty promptly and you'll find yourself spending maybe just a little more than an hour for the whole meal. That could be both a good and bad thing depending on the occasion.
The menu itself is predominantly Thai inspired but as with most Asian places, offers dishes from other parts of South East Asia (i.e. Malaysia, Hong Kong etc).
Personal favourites of my are the pad thai, the beef rendang and lamb massaman. All delicious and at prices that won't break the bank which in the heart of the City of London is refreshing.

Family run Thai restaurant close to Spitalfields Market which manages to be warm, hospitable and extremely efficient at the same time. The classics: Som Tum, Thai curry and Pad thai do not disappoint and I would recommend the place to anyone looking for quick, reasonable and appetizing meal in the city.
Excellent Thai spot, always busy and seems tiny from outside, but the seating upstairs offers an additional space. Quick service and tasty food (soups, pho and curries are at the top of the list), for a very reasonable prices. We will definitely come back again.
Exceptional food and great service.
Authentic Thai, with Thai staff, serving great food. The fried salmon from here is the best I've had and certainly recommend.
Dishes were very reasonably priced (I had a starter, main, side dish (rice) and a drink all for £25 - most places that would only get you a main.
Service was quick and the staff were very polite and friendly.
I will definitely be back again
This place is a little gem. Hidden away. Perfect for lunch or dinner. Very tasty food. Service is good. Restaurant is clean. A wide variety of dishes. Absolutely loved it. Deffo one of my favourites.
Loved the place and the menu. Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. The place is really popular and busy but in a good way.
We ordered some starters, Pad thai Noodles and Nasi Goreng. Food was delicious, well garnished, that leaves flavours of authentic thai cuisine. However, we had to wait unusually longer to get the table first and then for the food to be served. Perhaps owing to a bank holiday. A bit unsual observation but i found the dining table size to be extremely small to accomodate plates for a couple. If u are in for a scrumptious thai food, this pace can be on your list.
The food here is definitely the best Thai food I've had in the UK. It's also very well priced for where is is in London. We got here early at lunch time and there were only a few tables taken. A short while later the place was pretty full, so get there early!
Fabulous atmosphere, service was brilliant, and the food was simply outstanding! Ordered spring rolls and chicken satay skewers for starters and coconut rice and Thai green curry for mains, and the food was spot on. Highly recommend it!
This is one of my local Thai places to go but unfortunately try to avoid during the weekend as their service wasn’t great ,however their food is delicious I highly suggest you should try it out.
Tasty food and Singha beer on draught.
2 course meal with bottle of wine cost less than £50 per head. They have Thai wine which is good taste. Huge volume, great taste and good service. Won't let you disappointed.
