Absolutely delicious food, and recommended by Turkish friends. They have these specials that take the best kebab meat and add a fresh tomato sauce and yogurt on a bed of bread pieces. Amazing! The BBQ ribs are also perfect. Service was great, and had a close family feel. Definitely making this one of our regular places to eat.
This is our usual place for a Turkish meal dine in or delivery. It’s a decent size and relaxing restaurant. Introduced my friend who was impressed by how tasty the meal was. We ordered the largest Tower meal which is a mixed grill and was definitely enough for 6 people. It came with a small selection of cold meze, bread, sauces and salad. The grilled meats were flavourful and tender. Lamb chops were just right, tender and moist. Shame they don’t serve moussaka anymore.
Staff were very friendly and tentative.
I don't eat in Turkish restaurants very often as I think of kebabs as more of a takeaway but I have to say this place converted me. The food was so nice, never tasted lamb doner and chicken shish so good. The salad bowl was bright, fresh and tasty and they brought out more bread and sauces when we ran out. The waiters were all very nice and I had a good chat with one of them at the end. Was busy even at 2100 at night and had a good atmosphere. Really enjoyed it !
Hands down the BEST Turkish restaurant in SE London. Maybe even in London full stop.

The service deserves a separate praise. Everyone from every single waiter to the manager of the restaurant, everyone is looking after you from the point of entering the restaurant all the way until you leave. You will not be disappointed.
This is a real Turkish restaurant with good food. The amount of food is really good and makes you full. The chef and people around are also Turkish. It reminds me of Turkish kebab I used to have in my home town long time ago in Iran.
Great hospitality, excellent service, amazing selection of Turkish cuisine. Turkish lentil soup is a perfect choice for a starter - super tasty! Lamb kebab is seasoned very well and made absolutely to satisfy taste buds... The side salad is so fresh and takes you to a taste journey! Pomegranate sauce makes it just heavenly! Turkish tea is a brilliant way to end the meal with some surprisingly delicious sweet delicacies available! Thank you Mr. Şahin, The Chef and the Team!
Would award 10 stars if I could! The atmosphere in this restaurant was great. The wait staff were so friendly and accommodating. The head waiter made loads of recommendations and made sure we were looked after. The star of the show was the chef's special lamb shish adana with yogurt. The lamb pieces were sat on a bed of gravy-soaked croutons - just heaven! We also had the chicken beyti, lahmacun, falafel and hummus. The falafel were cooked to perfection - fluffy on the inside with a crispy exterior. All washed down with a few bottles of Efes lager. Couldn't recommend this place enough :)
Amazing food and service! I had falafel and halloumi wrap takeaway. Great selection of teas and desserts as well. Huge plates of meat. You feel very welcome here.
Had an amazing dinner here tonight with my husband. Had been wanting to try it out and so glad we finally did. We are both foodies and were really impressed. Everything was flavourful, fresh and the portions were huge. The service was also amazing, prompt, super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the lamb shish yogourt (in the specialties). We will definitely be back again and so happy to have discovered this local gem! Thank you! :)
I came here many times and each time is better than the other. Amazing food comes with salad, bread and sauce on the house. Lovely staff very friendly and helpful. The hospitality is amazing in Tower Mangal definitely recommend.
