We had our wedding reception here on 4th February; the only word that I can use to describe my day is perfect!!! The owners of the restaurant (Malwina and Marek) and other staff were all amazing.
From the minute we walked in to the restaurant I knew it would be fabulous. We had prosecco waiting for us as soon as we got out of the car, along with the meat cheese platters and some halloumi salad.
We had set lunch menu so our guests were able to choose what they wanted from a slection of choices. You couldn’t make mistake with the menu as every dish was delicious, the beef roulade and pork loins that went with the chanterelle mushroom sauce was to die for!! It was beautiful. The atmosphere was very relaxed, exactly what I hoped it would be.
There were people from six different nationalities at the wedding and we were a little bit worry if everyone will enjoy Polish cuisine however we received a lot of compliments about the food from our guests. Some of them said that that was the best food they had ever tasted.
Malwina decorated the restaurant for me just the way I wanted. She also sang a song for as which was a very nice touch. The staff was very attentive and arranged taxis for us at the end of the night. We cannot wait to return to the restaurant and have another meal there as a married couple. We will definitely use this place again in the future for any other events and strongly recommend it to others!
Brilliant staff and owners very welcoming and attentive. Food was fantastic. .herrings were really good...so much food we couldn't eat it all..beer and wine was great..totally recommend. .we will be going back to try out more dishes.x

We had family celebration at Taverna in May. The food was amazing and high standard customer service. I would recommended to anyone to book the table and enjoy good food.

Discovered this place not so long ago but love it! Amazing food, real Polish flavours. We are coming back here with a pleasure almost every weekend. Good job guys! BIG thumb up! Keep it going! �

Friendly and accomodating staff, delicious hearty food, fantastic selection of Polish craft & lager beers, nice ambience; a quirky addition to Lee's drinking and dining scene.
Tam zawsze jest miło i pysznie. Wczoraj z okazji rocznicy ślubu byliśmy na kolacji/ pysznie, stolik nastrojowo ozdobiony i na dodatek w tle muzyka romantyczna. :) Obsługa super i cała oprawa...

Great authentic Polish homemade food and drinks as very reasonable price. Nice spot to hang out with friends with indoor and outdoor seating.
Good food, friendly staff. Place split into two floors, with a bar in the 1st floor and the dinner on the ground floor.

Every time I go here, I LOVE the food. My husband is obsessed. The ribs are stewed perfection, especially with that cabbage. And the breaded pork is so flavourful. We miss them all the time and I cannot wait for them to be able to open again. It always has such lovely neighbourhood/family vibe. I've been counting the days til we can go back
Just can't fault it. I've been going there for years, witnessed the change of management/owners and the more recent change of chef and I have to say the food is fantastic now! the service is great, makes you feel comfortable and cosy. Usually food is served quite promptly, unless you go for a Sunday lunch, when it's really busy and the little extra time for the food to be served is completely understandable. Great food, good service at a fair price. One of the best Polish restaurants in London!
I went here with my wife for dinner. Really tasty polish food and large portions. I had the minced meat wrapped in cabbage with a tomato sauce which came with mashed potato and some salad. My wife had the pork with breadcrumbs, cheese and mushrooms on top also with mashed potato and salad. So tasty. The atmosphere and food are both homely and the staff were really nice aswell. Highly recommend this place to try some really good polish food.
First time I went here was 3 weeks ago... Yesterday made it 3 times in 3 weeks.
Friendly good quick service and really decent food.
Ask for the Polish beers, really tasty and not gassy like other beers, great with the food.
Have a go on the cherry polish vodka aswell.
A great hidden gem
Lovely polish restaurant with easy access. Great prices for big portions of delicious food. Staff very friendly, always happy to help and chat. Everytime I visit I leave the place happy. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for some great polish food or would like to try it as well as good polish beers! :)
The most amazing Polish Tavern I have ever been to! Truly warm and welcoming staff. Cosy interior with great atmosphere. I had a priviledge to talk with the owner -absolutely fabulous person! They organize theme events and gaming evenings. Prices are excellent and If you haven't try Polish dishes yet - this is the best place to go!
I've ordered from here on several occasions and it's always been a brilliant experience. Whoever they have working as their chef and cooking team are brilliant, largely because the various dishes I've had (Pork Ribs along with Beef and Potato), the meat has been so tender that it would just fall off the bone.
Along with the culinary experience being phenomenal. The staff is really welcoming, and I simply cannot get enough of the interior. I'm a history enthusiast, and the inside of the Tavern features a range of vintage photographs, posters and literature.
I'm genuinely surprised that more people don't come here. But I feel like with this kind of quality: word should get out more about this place. I'm a newly converted regular all the same
