Tastiest Vietnamese in London in a beautiful venue and great team. We had our baby's party there and we could not be happier! We would definitely repeat.

Great food & service. Very welcoming staff & delicious fragrant cuisine. A real find, just 5 minutes walk from the buzz of Upper Street.

Great Food. We had Crispy Tofu with Cucumber and Spring Onion and the Goi shredded crunchy vegetables in Vietnamese style garlic & vinegar dressing with tofu for starters.

Main course was Beef in tamarind sauce.

The Crispy Tofu was good but, the Plum Sauce was the bog-standard sauce that you get in any Chinese takeaway, they should make their own maybe based on their delicious Tamarind sauce.

The main course was excellent but, could be a little more spicy.

Overall it was a great experience.

Authentic and I approve! Owner was friendly and food made with fresh ingredients! Meat cooked to perfection with tender succulency and salads made with love. This is a hidden gem away from the well-known mecca for vietnamese cuisine in east London.

A lovely independent restaurant where the friendly owner always gives you a warm welcome. I recommend the beef Bun Hue. The pho is delicious and really well seasoned and spiced. Portions are generous and reasonably priced.

Very tasty food, interesting and cheap cocktails, friendly staff and very chilled and cosy atmosphere. Particularly appreciated the £2.50 for extra rice papers to turn your bun into summer rolls.

The bun thit nuong (bun noodle salad with grilled pork) was tasty, but I'm used to having this dish in a bowl as it was slightly hard to mix the fish sauce onto the noodles and salad on a flat plate. The fish sauce wasn't enough for the dish, but you can always ask for more.

It is the number one Vietnamesemy restaurant in London. I have taken friends who love Vietnamese food there and they have all been satisfied.

Hidden gem for authentic pho. Not msg heavy. The fried pork tastes delicious with wok air. Worth all the extra steps from the Main Street

Great Vietnamese food from a family run business. It's very good value too. I'll strongly recommend the char-grilled pork with vermicelli. The space was quiet, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the dinner a lot.

Absolutely delicious. I had bun bo hue and the broth was rich and tasty, the beef was tender and yummy, veggies were fresh, terrific! One of the best meal I had outside of Vietnam. Staff was also very nice, (looks like a family ran business) and the place is quite nice, very cosy and relaxing. Very decent price as well (£14 for a main and a beer - including service charge) and the portion was big! (But it was so moreish I had no problem finishing it all)

I’ve been coming here for 12 years. Fantastic authentic Vietnamese food from Martin, Maria and family - the kindest most welcoming hosts you can imagine. Incredible value and always so delicious. An Islington gem.

The food is always consistent. Definitely value for money. Must try the fried fish with ginger although to be honest none of the dishes have disappointed me yet.

Quiet, cosy, romantic. Conveniently close to the hustle of upper street yet perfect if you actually want to have a conversation. Food was tasty and reasonably-priced. Favourites - salt and pepper crispy aubergine, chicken and beef curries

Very authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Not full of frills but the food was really good. Good range of vegetarian options as well. Decent value too.
