Jaffna House - London - Photo album

This is a fabulous little place. Was originally planning on going to the nearby Kothu restaurant, but they messed up the booking. Ended up here, and it went beyond my expectations. The food was so delicious that it brought back fond memories from home (Sri Lanka). Every single dish had the perfect c
Amazing food!! Had the Mutton rolls and they were phenomenal. The seafood Kottu and the Mutton Biriyani was delicious. The staff was very friendly and had no lines. If you are in the area. I recommend this place for Sri Lankan food.
The Kothu roti was very fresh and nice! Mutton rolls were to die for! 10/10 would recommend if you are in Tooting. The QR codes were cool 👌
Lovely staff, great atmosphere, delicious food! The white sangria is amazing - would recommend! Great options for vegetarians and really good value. We regularly go and will continue to go back!

Quiet Monday- had the mutton thali. 5 condiments with rice and mutton which is good value for lunch. The potato, cabbage, spinhas, chick peas was all fine as the rice. Mutton curry was ok. The popodun was soggy. Egg hoppers was average- could be crisper with a more Flavoursome egg. it took sometim
Jaffna house is one of our favourites in Tooting. The Friday night Thali is fantastic and such a reasonable price. The team is always very helpful at recommending dishes and always welcoming. Definitely check it out if you’ve not been already!
Loved the food so much, so satisfying! The devilled mutton was delightful and the nethhali fish puttu was the fave. Would also recommend the aubergine curry, very tasty and complex!
Great little restaurant! Food was amazing too. We ordered the vegetable curry meal deal and it was massive. Loads of delicious things to try. The cabbage curry was incredible! Great value, highly recommend
Lovely wee place! Very nice staff - Ravi is particularly good. Recommend the veggie thali
They're actually cooking food and not scamming, shrink-flating, misrepresenting and gouging like a majority of restaurants currently do in the UK, primarily I suspect because they're an independent business and not owned by some private equity company. Very good food, very fairly priced. A good bus
I had a wonderful dining experience at Jaffna House. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth. The authenticity of the cuisine was terrific - we tried several dishes, and each one was a delightful journey of flavours. In particular, the mutton rolls were crispy and flavourful and th
Nice cosy genuine Sri Lankan food on Tooting high street. The interiors are basic but nice and bright. The menu has all the variety you would want and the food tastes fine. Portions are generous, prices are light on the pocket. The service is excellent and the staff happy to help you navigate throu
First time here- don’t know why. The food is amazing. Portions don’t look big but that is deceptive. Was quite quiet but we were early. Will be back
I had the lunch special, with mutton. They do both a chicken and veg option as well. £7.95. A perfect fusion of flavours, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. You must visit here for lunch if you are in Tooting!👍😋
Really tasty food and amazing prices! Been a couple times now and it’s a new favourite. If you’re thinking about it definitely give it a try. The chai tea is also delish.
