Good burgers, cooked to your liking, friendly staff and service.

Is it in an overstatement to say that a good UI experience can make you re-order in a restaurant? That's what actually happened at GBK! The Jack bun burger was so tasty (and the patty crunchy), had to order another one. Halloumi bites are good as well.
GBK knows how to get you into their rewards system. They ask you to download their app to place an order (yes some patience required here!). But the smooth design of the app helps :)
Burgers in Greenwich, who would have thought. I always thought of Greenwich a bit high brow with independent cafes, bistros and gastro pubs. Was not expecting chains to make an appearance. But this is the right kind of chain because it truly gourmet. If gourmet means succulent meat, tasty toppings and delicate buns, its a tick from me.
Lets takes it from the beginning. Interesting set up here. You note your table number, place your order at the bar and await its arrival. I don't recall this ever being the case in GBK. Maybe it is new or a specific addition to this busy area with a mix of locals, students and visitors. The menu itself is small, concentrating on a selection of ideas for your burger enjoyment. One page gives you everything you want which makes for easy ordering.
We went for two burgers with a kick, the 'Bourbon Street' with mustard grilled beef, jalapenos, mature cheddar, bourbon glazed mushrooms, sriracha mayo and salad. I had prime beef with onion jam, cajun relish, house mayo, dripping with blue cheese. We also had a side of onion rings and coleslaw, with some gorgeous sweet potato chips. All of the food was great and it is a welcome addition to my list of favourite burger places, in spite of it being a chain.
The service was erratic to start with, rushing around to clear tables for what was clearly a busy lunch, but our lady was funny and real. Literally spoke to us like we were pals and I like that style of service. Comfortable, not forced, friendly. Great location next to the river Thames, beautiful museums, markets and a great big park! Definitely worth a commute down there from wherever you are.
Had a classic cheese burger for lunch here along with skinny fries and garlic mayo dip. The food was excellent and absolutely worth every penny. Will definitely be heading back again.
Pretty nice place if a bit dark. Also if you call yourself as gourmet burger kitchen, then the word gourmet sits uncomfortably with having to pay up front at a counter like a refectory/canteen. Anyway, pretty wide choice of burgers (both veg and non veg) plus some manky salads. Anyway my friend went for a pea veg burger while as usual bd went off the strange deep end and ordered the wild boat burger. Both burgers were quite nice, well cooked, nice crisp huge lettuce leaf, bit stingy with the onions and only ketchup for the table sauce. Need different sauces, fork out for them. And the chips were average. Total cost with drinks for two was £20 which was reasonable I thought. Anyway. Good place. The wild boar burger was good, you could taste the gamey nature of the meat
The burgers aren't as tasty as they look, and the same goes for the flavourless fries. The Moroccan chicken salad is the nicest thing I've had there, but I don't imagine many people are thinking 'salad' when they go into a place like this!
The burger is about the size of a small horse. When it is brought to the table, you almost have to fight the instinct to run from the restaurant shouting, 'I didn't order this horse' before being brought back, screaming and scratching to get away.
All of the burgers here look pretty good, after all it's what they pride themselves on. You can gorge on free monkey nuts while you wait for your meal. Personal fave is the blue cheese which holds the key to a secret sauce recipe to rival the colonel's.
This is the only GBK branch I've been to so I don't know how it compares to the others in terms of service or style but I had no problems with my order and it was clean and comfortable.
The burgers tasted really awesome. French fries were nicely seasoned and the staff was nice as well. Overall a great experience.
The food seemed really fresh as well.
Excellent burger very juicy and cooked perfectly to my liking. It was so good that I can't wait to come back. We only had takeaway but the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful.
Does the job if you're looking for a quick meal. Burger was very filling. The onion rings were good, and I must say that the milkshakes are also really nice.
I had a great time at this GBK restaurant the service was amazing and the food was 10/10 would recommend
We've had a late lunch at GBK, the vanilla shake and sweet fries were really good, lemonade and burgers okay (bun felt a bit on the lower side, but the filling and chicken were good).
The service we've really liked, they were nice and payed extra attention for any allergies we had, which is a big plus as we have a gluten intolerant in our group.
Prices were kinda high but as far as I can tell pretty average for the neighborhood, payed a total of 53 GBP for a 3 person lunch with drinks.
I got the panko classic chicken burger and the patty was fried to perfection. Super crispy and goes very well with their homemade sauce🤩 Portion was just nice, I was very full by the time I was done. The onion rings were great too and staff were very friendly. One of the better burgers I’ve had during my stay here. Do come tryif you’re in the area!
Ordered a burger with fries and the sauce was amazing , don't know how but I must have the recipe
Good burgers, well made milk shakes. I like their Belgian chocolate ( also called double chocolate) milkshakes and Oreo milkshake. Nice and thick. I've gone in there a few times just for the shakes. Also impressed with their skinny fries.
They used to do a jackfruit burger which was brilliant, i wish it was brought back into their offering. Easily accessible by public transport - both bus and tube. Also close to the ferry. However the place is a bit smaller and tables are closely crammed. Slightly less exciting than the other GBKs
Very nice interior and excellent customer service.
Food was excellent and the choice of options on the menu is nice and broad considering a lot of us can eat halal meat only.

The food is of a high standard as you would expect. A selection of burgers, mostly meat but some vegetarian and vegan options, are available along with sides, starters, drinks and desserts.
The staff are friendly and helpful although they only act as servers, ordering of food needs to be done at the counter at the rear of the restaurant.
The location is good, very close to any number of things you might want to explore in Greenwich before or after a meal here.
The Burger was great and very fresh made.
The prices are extremely fair and the service was pretty friendly and nice.
This is my second time visiting GBK and I had an excellent meal. Came with a group of 5 and the table service was so slick and quick! The food was spot on and the drinks were nice and cold. Everybody was satisfied. Will return in the later months!
