Found this place almost by accident, as it was located right in front of our hotel. Pizza was really good, they had a special menu for kids and offered entertainment (crayons, puzzles, etc.). Staff was friendly too.

We have a pizza express in India as well. Didn't have any expectations because the Indian version is just average but I was surprised when I visited this one. With ingredients so fresh and the taste so great, there is nothing wrong with it

One of the things that caught my eye as I looked at the entrance of this branch of Pizza Express was that it had been given an impressive five stars from Scores on the Doors. Scores on the Doors is the official local a

Pizza express is a great place to have a decent meal at any given time of the day. Ranging from its small appetizers to its large filling pizzas and even those Leggera pizzas that have less than 500 calories!
Theres one located nearly everywhere, and makes for a good meal during a regular working day, especially for students like me who don't tend to get much time between classes to go have a full 3 course meal.
Definitely check it out, atleast once!

Pizza Express is a great go-to, that always delivers. It's fast and simple and their pizzas are always good. A tip for those accustomed to cheesier pizzas would be to ask for extra cheese because Pizza Express likes to go a tad heavier on the sauce and skimp on the cheese. The Emilia pizza with mushrooms and goat cheese is my favorite!

While it’s fun to enjoy Michelin starred restaurants, sometimes you just want to chow down on pizza and save money. That’s why I was ecstatic when I received an email stating there was a major change in using a Tastecard at Pizza Express.

It’s amazing how many great London restaurants offer super deals for Tastecard holders. Mr. Sunny and I frequently plan our Sunny in London adventures around them. However, they nearly all require advance booking. UNTIL NOW!

I was notified via email that using a Tastecard at Pizza Express no longer means calling ahead to reserve a time. This is huge, Sunny friends. LAST MINUTE. PIZZA. ANYTIME.

So, Mr. Sunny and I immediately walked to our local Pizza Express to put the deal to use.

Mr. Sunny ordered his Starter for £4.95

I told the waiter I just wanted an entrée, and he promptly reminded me that the Tastecard gave us 2 for 1. So, I quickly ordered one of my favourites for £5.20.

They were delicious!

We both ordered from the Classic Pizza Menu for our Mains.

Mr. Sunny dined on the La Reine for £11.40

He was a bit sneaky and ordered extra pepperoni AND extra red onions when I wasn’t listening, but more about that later.

I ordered a gluten-free Fiorentina for £9.50.

Pizza Express features their Romana and Classic pizzas as gluten free options in an 11” base, with the exceptions of Sloppy Giuseppe, Diavolo, Polpette Bolognese and our Calzone and Leggera range.

This pizza was GLORIOUS!

When we received the bill, we were very happy, well…. Almost.

We saved £14.20 through the promotion. However, Mr. Sunny got a big ear beating about his extras and TWO beers.

I’m not sure how I feel about the Children’s Food Trust Donation. Although it was clearly written in the menu under my pizza,

“A discretionary 25p will be donated on your behalf to the ‘Children’s Food Trust’, the UK charity that has been getting children cooking since 2005”

I am still torn on my feelings about having this automatically added on the bill.

Using a Tastecard at Pizza Express is quite easy. If you don’t get carried away with additions and booze, it can be quite a deal. For Sunny friends who don’t have a Tastecard, you can receive it for a free 30 day trial if you request it on their website. I applied a few weeks ago and was thrilled at how quickly it arrived.

Definitely one of the most prominent pizza places in London. With branches all over the city, the service in this particular outlet is particularly good with a really cheerful staff who are helpful and always smiling. Being a person who does not experiment much with dishes, I generally stick with the Americano (Pepperoni) which never fails to satisfy. Be careful to tell the waiters not to put ice in the Coke because they tend to put way too much ! The desserts look very tempting, but I have not had one yet, definitely something on my to-do list.

Good service. Had an £11 set menu for 2 courses. Cannelloni wasn't great and would recommend one of the pizzas instead. Salted caramel latte was a good addition to the menu.

Good dining atmosphere, staffs are friendly. I have ordered the Bolognese Rigatoni, however, I wouldn’t say it is delicious, rigatoni wasn’t al dente enough, the sauce was too much and very heavy flavoured. But the hot chocolate is supreme i must say.(Love it!) PS: One of the waitress there has an uncanny resemblance with Laura Prepon (the actress starring in the Orange is the new black netflix series)

The food was not only delicious but served very quickly. The servers were friendly and helpful. On top of this, the actual restaurant looks relatively fancy and it is certainly good value for money.

Pizza way okay, not enough staff but they're quick when called upon. Decent meal (starters + mains+ sides), good staff but understaffed and food was a solid 6/10

This is an excellent pizza place! I love their pizzas (a great size to share for 2), their appetizers are delicious, they have a great wine selection, and they're almost ubiquitous (at least in London). A good place for travelers and locals alike, for a nice start to your evening out.

The restaurant is bright & spacious. The waiting staff were all super attentive & friendly. We were seated right away. We both opted for the Leggera Padana pizza. Only 600 calories & a taste sensation. Toppings were goat's cheese, onion, spinach, tomato & garlic. The pizza base was thin & crispy, with a hole in the middle for a tasty, green leaf salad & some cherry tomatoes. Prices were very reasonable, especially for London.

Good and reliable service, as always with this chain, waitress attentive, particularly so when our final member of the party arrived to join us. Food warm on arrival. If I had to complain about anything it would be trivial issues, such as less cocktail sticks to people seated for the olives, cold toilets and very cold hand drier.

Good service and tasty food. In particular the barbacoa (summer menu) was fantastic here! Pizzas could be cooked for a little longer for a crisper base but that's down to personal taste.

Popped in for a quick lunch with 3 adults, busy during the lunch hour got a table as a walk in. Friendly, warm and welcoming staff. Tried a pizza from their new under 600 calorie sub menu. Delicious I'd highly recommend trying the doughnut pizza. 4 stars as I was sat at a wonky table.

Close to UCHL so very handy. Thank goodness for a really lovely waitress. Helpful and very cheerful. Great 2 course deal. Plenty of it too. Never disappointed here. Waitress gets 10 out of 10 everything.

Visited on two consecutive nights now on our visit to London. This restaurant is  very close to our hotel (Doubletree by Hilton) and the staff here are very friendly, courteous and professional. Our server on both nights was Aliza and she made us feel very welcome and valued as customers.

Quite enjoyed my visit here. They do good quality lager (Peroni Gran Riserva) which is always a good start. Service was excellent and the restaurant itself was a nice place to sit. The food was pretty good, but could have done with being a little warmer. If it had been, it would have gotten an excellent, as it was still the best Calzone I've had. Price was far too high, over £23 for one person!

The food is good and always freshly cooked. The staff is always smiling. I prefer their pizzas to any others but are more expensive than, say, Pizza Hut. Anyway I'm coming back for sure.
