Super pub. Not a free house, but the beers, ales and ipas on draft are really great. There are about 6-8 tables outside, each can seat about 6 people. You can smoke outside. Inside there are nice booths for people to enjoy drinks and food. Kitchen was closed when we visited. Drinks were great, ve
This is a great choice if you decide to enjoy a drink next to the fireplace! Generally very warm and friendly atmosphere with good service. The is plenty of room outside also. Beer is always cold and the music in this pub is great.
Staff was amazing and made my night an experience I'll always remember. Classic pub without music just a good atmosphere for a nice chat. Why are people complaining about the prices? It's central London.
Lovely pub a little tucked away. Classic Sam Smith's venue with lots of sections and alcoves.
Lovely traditional pub with open fires and cosy tables serving fine Samuel Smith ales. The steak pie was excellent. Well worth a visit and I hope to return.
One of my very favourite old school pubs! No tv, no music, kind and helpful staff, great atmosphere!
A really nice little pub. The fruit beers are great. Initially we weren't going to stop, as we poked our heads in and the place seemed very quiet. But I'm glad we decided to 'stay for one'.Maybe it's this places vibes, but maybe some quiet background music might have made the place seem a little mo
The Yorkshire Grey is a great place to go for a few pints and a catch up with a couple of mates. It's not ideal for big groups as its fairly small inside and can get quite busy, but it does have a good atmosphere and a cosy fireplace!
Absolutely beautiful pub, it is the most London pub looking pub! Very quiet when I went, which was late Monday evening to be fair, the landlord was friendly and chatty
There staff here are great and after you’ve navigated the small, maze-like interior they’re really welcoming and friendly. The benches outside are great in the summer as they’re in a real sun trap. Being a Sam Smith’s pub you won’t find the common brands of drinks, but what is on offer is reasonably
Always a friendly pub and good to go to in the Summer or Winter. They light their nice little fire in the winter too. There is a pretty good selection of beers and spirits; I've not tried many wines there. I love Sam Smiths fruity beers and their equivalent of Pimm's. Whenever I've had food, it's be
Good Samuel Smith's pub so will always have decent beer and it's always worth trying any of their bottled beers - but take care as some are very potent! There is quieter upstairs bar which I think opens at 6 PM. This pub serves food, our group had several dishes, all very good. 5 minutes from Oxford
An absolute beauty of an old pub. All dark wood and intimacy. First time I had Samuel Smith beers in years and enjoyed a pint
Great pub with roaring fire, but limited seating for it. Lovely fixtures and fittings with ornate windows and hanging baskets. Tables available outside and food available upstairs. Sam Smiths, so no music, no TV and that ridiculous no phones policy they can't enforce.
I think this might be my ideal London pub in many ways. Small, but always with a good atmosphere. A few outside seats too. And it's really surreal when you have the cast of a Radio 4 drama talking behind you, while a gorgeous model poses in front of you as you sip a pint of Organic lager (the BBC an
Cute pub in a nice quiet location. Staff are friendly and attentive. Good selection of beer and wine. A little outside space for the summer, and a lively fire place for the colder days!
Great little pub. Nice rustic feel to it. Staff is very efficient and friendly. Enjoyed sitting out side with friends after a busy day. Its a lovely pub but always incredibly busy and hard to find a seat. Staff is more than helpful and service is fabulously quick.
Sam Smiths pub so excellent prices and a good range of beers, ciders and alternative beverages. Friendly helpful staff and a cute little dog in addition to some more tasteful classic pub decor.
Worked outside here yesterday with a film crew. Had a few drinks after work. Lovely old fashioned pub that took me back to when my granddad used to take me with him on a Sunday. Fantastic atmosphere and the food is incredible. Highly recommend. If your ever in the area, this is truly a hidden gem. X
