This Bar is a gem! Some of the best IPA"s I have had. Relaxing atmosphere & friendly knowledgable staff! Beers impeccably kept! Will be here more often now I have discovered it!

Great pizza, great beer. Enjoyed a couple pints of Konig Pils, in a frosted mug, with friends. Highly recommended.

Met a colleague for lunch at this quirky pub behind Cannon Street Station. You'll know what I mean if you go there. It's a very unpub-like pub, with a modern glass front and inside a high, squat-shaped railway arch. It was set up last year with deliberately rustic fixtures, quite nicely done, and a few indeterminate animal hides half-heartedly arranged on the walls. The Pelt Trader serves a good range of craft beers and a selection of moo-sive (18 inch) pizzas. They have about six or seven on the menu. We ordered a meat, meat and more meat (salami, prosciutto) pizza with some artichoke hearts thrown in for variety. These are pizzas so big you just share one. They also do 12 inch pizzas if you want one of your own but can't contemplate the said gigantic pizza. The pizza itself was pretty decent, a little oily (but I like that) and plenty of flavour. This was the only thing we ate, but the bar also does 'beer sticks' which are batons of dried beef (jerky) to chew on while you drink that cost £1.50. Above the bar a board explains each of the different beers and the prices, so it's quite transparent what you're ordering. When I went in they had a range of guest IPAs, including Beavertown, Burning Sky, Caveman and Redemption. I ordered a Celt, a gently fruity pale ale. Their list of beer on tap in keg and cask is impressive: Kostritzer German dark lager, Kirkstall Framboise from Belgium, Camden Gentelman's Wit, to name just a few. The seating in the bar is a bit weird and I can only assume that when it fills up it's largely a standing about bar. Interesting though.

Extensive choice of beer. A number of cask ales in condition. German specialty beers. Even a real high juice cider on tap. Popular with office groups. In an arch under the station. Quirky decor. Loos clean; decor could do with a wee refresh here. Service okay, but could be more friendly; a smile and some sort of engagement is nice when it’s not busy. All in all good drinks and good choice.

How the pizza can be so tasty in this pub?? And the pizza is huge, at first I thought we can not finish this but at the end, it was all gone. I like the pub and the pizza❤️

The Pelt Trader, a cellar bar with a bit of a Bavarian feel to it. Good beer, fairly priced. Staff are helpful and welcoming. A short visit but a good one. Busy lunchtime here today.

Very good pub in an arch under Cannon Street Station. Four cask beers on handpump when I last visited. A couple of tables outside. The menu offers a variety of pizzas. Not too busy at around 18:30 on a Wednesday when I visited. The pub does not open at weekends.

Nice pub in the arches under the station, well priced real ale especially for London.

Loved the place, is definitely a beer place, pizza is normal, actually the base is really good, the topping are a little odd for Italian taste, but I admit I am spoiled :) recommended only I wish they had more local beers but I see is not the goal of the place

Good place to enjoy a wide selection of beers, conveniently located under Cannon Street station. Dark and cavernous inside, it was quiet when we visited on a late Tuesday evening. Prices are around the London average, certainly cheaper than what we paid in Moorgate earlier! Friendly staff make this a good place for a pint before the train home.

Amazing choice of beer and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Handy for a cheeky pint if your train is late... Or a long session if you don't mind that it's a bit drafty in winter/spring.
