What a great discovery!! Absolutely amazing food. The manager is warm and staff very attentive. We happened to be there at the happy hour so got two cocktails for £11 and they were great. We sat outside and the atmosphere was Fantastic, it felt like we were somewhere on holidays. Can't wait to go back.

Possibly one of the best Lebanese restaurants in London. The food was amazing, which, along with, the very attentive and warm manager and staff and the beautiful Middle Eastern decor, made this experience the best dining experience I've ever had in London. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to all my family and friends and I hope to return soon! :)

Fantastic food - you can taste the freshness of the herbs especially, all beautifully done plus great wine list with not budget-breaking prices. Pleased to have discovered it will definitely be back!

First time visiting. Was fabulous. Didn't know what to have so the waiter picked our meal for us. Everything was delicious and the service second to none. Will definitely be visiting again.

Invited by a dear cousin - who is also a Clapham Common resident - for my final meal after five weeks in London, my brother (on a short business visit) and I came mainly to see her and not really thinking much about the restaurant or the food. I must say, from the location to the warm and comfortable ambiance to the attentive service and, finally, to the absolutely out of this world food, I could not have enjoyed my dinner more. The smoked aubergines and chicken liver staters were great and my main of the marinated and roasted baby chicken was superb. Next time I get to London from Los Angeles, I will be back!

Argan was bustling with people as we settled down to our meal on Saturday night. The service was quick and friendly with a buzzing atmosphere as everyone began their nights out.
We were sat outside (to feel even more like we were abroad) so we could people watch as we ordered the Lebanese platter to start our meal. Venn street is perfect for people watching, you get all sorts.
When the food arrived it was delicious, well seasoned and the perfect amount. On the platter was houmous, halloumi, chicken wings, carrots in spices, spicy green beans and vine leaves with salad. It was all seriously yummy but ESP the halloumi. I mean, who can do halloumi wrong?!
We had chicken skewers to share for our main and the chicken was really good. Full of flavour and moisture on a bed of cumin rice. It was lovely. The only downside was that there was the smallest amount of sauce to eat with it.
After we had eaten, we proceeded to smoke shisha until they moved us into the tent at the back of the restaurant.
After our second bottle of wine was finished, our chatter had died down and the clock passed 2am, we stumbled home.
The evening cost us 80 quid, money well spent on wine, shisha and excellent food.

Went with a friend and ordered a mix of hot and cold meze (4) and a soup. I thought I would order more after but the portions were very generous and above all very good! The hallumi mezze was our favourite! In fact, I forgot to take a pic of the food cause I was too busy enjoying it!😅 Bonus point for being on the super cute Venn street in

I visited on Sunday evening, and the food was amazing. I had lamb tagine, and it was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff making every moment to remember.

Starters impressed more than the main, particularly the chicken wings and batata harra (pictured). Pitta accompanying the hummus was dry and I think the hummus itself could have been more flavourful. Friendly host however the other waiter seemed less accommodating - overall a pleasant experience hence 4/5

Amazing food and large portions. Friendly service. We had the baba ganoush for starter and chicken and lamb tajines after, all was great.

The lamb shank was lovely and tender. And the sauce was good too. However, I felt it could have been a bit more saucey.... There wasn't enough. Overall good

The food tasted amazing. My partner had the chargrilled seabass which he said was so tasty not even the bones could stop him. I had the chefs special moussaka with rice, and that was also very tasty. Overall our experience with the food was good, it was a little slow to get served but we were outside so we weren’t that visible. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for locals in Clapham and any other visitors. I would definitely advice to try the seabass and the moussaka

Delicious sharing food. The set menu comes in multiples of 2 people, but with an odd numbered party, get the -1 options, as it will be more than enough to feed everyone and then some! The non-alcoholic cocktails are beautifully presented and very tasty also!

Excellent authentic food with great, friendly customer service. Definitely the best local spot for Middle Eastern (but it’s also Moroccan) food. We ordered the meshwe shared platter for two - and it’s the perfect amount of food for two.

Second time at Argan, the food is really nice - specially the fish tagine! The fattoush salad was top as well. The pita bread could be improved as it feels and tastes like the Tesco one. They staff is nice and friendly, but not enough waiters for the size of the terrace.

I like their food and it’s nice to sit outside in good weather. The restaurant also offers good lunch deals.
