The Castle - London - Photo album

Nice pub at lovely location. So convenient to have a drink if waiting for train. Staff is cool and helpful. Lovely atmosphere and nice vibes. Variety of drinks in cask & keg. Very busy between 17:00 to 19:00 after office time so be careful ❗️
Visited the castle for the first time, a great little pub, popular with locals. There is a great atmosphere and despite being busy service was very quick. We opted to sit upstairs and it was a little quieter, which was nice. The decor is really well thought out and tastefully done, the upholstery
Fab selection of beers Food looked ace, will eat there next time. Interior is very cool.
Lovely atmospheric pub, serving delicious food.
I've not been here before and I was pleasantly surprised at the attentive service. Especially from Sophie who was absolutely amazing and professional. Made us feel at home even though it was really busy at times. Thank you so much Sophie and Team Castle Farringdon. I will definitely be coming back i
Second time of booking for a walking group meal. Pub was responsive and helpful, even with late changes for numbers. Food ordered in advance was delivered to our tables efficiently and on time. Enjoyable meals had by all in a pub with an interesting history. Well situated in the heart of Farringdon
Iconic pub. Great atmosphere and good service.
Nice pub and kitchen. Party of a chain, but I learned that to get proper UK craft beer, you must ask for what's on tap. Otherwise you get bottles/cans of craft beer. Not sure it really makes a difference.
I stopped off for food and drinks on the way to football at Stratford. The Castle is conveniently located but was extremely busy at 6pm. Fortunately I had booked a table and the staff were excellent getting me to the table and serving the food.
I used to be a regular around 15 years ago when I worked in the area but hadn’t been back in a few years. Decent selection of all drinks. Came back for the pub quiz and won. £50 bar tab gift card which we spent on a £48 bottle of English sparkling wine.
Arrived 25 mins late for 8pm reservation, and was welcomed and well looked after, food service was quick and food quality very good
Beer-battered haddock and triple-cooked chips(fish & chips) £16 Turkey & smocked ham hock pie £15
My waitress (I think Sophie??) was amazing! Got served before by a very stressful bald man though! Hope my waitress survived the shift! Deserves all the tips in the world.
Great little pub right next to Farringdon station.
Popular pub opposite Farringdon Station, so a good choice for a post work drink before catching the train home 🏡
Great location near the station. Food decent portions and prices fairly reasonable. Staff were very friendly and good service
Went for after dinner drinks. Considering the location right next to the station, The Castle wasn't too busy or noisy so stayed for dinner too. Typical pub-fare but friendly staff and food was better than expected. Will definitely go back 👍🏽
