Through a doorway squished in the middle of a line of shops on a busy road and down some stairs you find this little piece of Persia. Dark wooden decor and the smell of spices entice your senses as you take your seats and prepare for the feast.

I highly recommend a mixed starter 'Sini Mazeh' which incorporates 4 traditional dips & pickles with an impressively large Naan. You can bring your own booze here, they charge corkage but they also have a small selection of beer, wine and soft drinks, including Doogh (a traditional salted mint milk drink), not my taste but some of the men there were downing jugfuls of it!

All of the kebabs tried so far are very tasty and you get plenty of them. The only thing is it could do with being a lot more saucy but you can order extra sauces on the side if you desire. The spicy one goes well with the Joojeh chicken I had and isn't too hot.

Service is efficient, there is one very friendly waitress there so it's nicer when you get her. The cool thing is that you can see through to the kitchen too.

A decent price for the quantity of food and they kindly box up what you can't manage so you can enjoy it later. They also do take-away so it's perfect for that romantic night out and just to grab a bite to take home on your way back from work.

One of the finest and very different Persian cuisine. I never tasted such falafels before. Aubergine starter with walnuts was surprisingly delicious. In main course everything in mix grill was so tasty. Definitely go back. Forget to mention fresh watermelon 🍉 juice which was so refreshing.

Really great food, go for the sharing platter! Make sure to get the flat bread! Great friendly service. Really love how it feels like a hidden cave. BYOB so grab a bottle from the corner shop... Or triangles new posh wine shop!

Blink and you'll miss the one doorway to this restaurant (it has no shop front). It also has stairs and no lift so could be difficult to get down for some. The greeting at the bottom wasn't exactly welcoming, but once we were sat down, the waitress was superb. There's a £4 corkage charge per bottle of wine and the food came quickly. The halloumi salad was delicious, and the chicken kebabs was tasty but lacking flavour....I added the garlic sauce which was nice but I needed some mints after leaving as it was stronger that I thought! I'd seem other reviews about this place only taking cash, but they do have a card reader now.

Food was excellent, good quality. We had the kebabs, melt in the mouth and tasty. Breads baked fresh and sovfreash, crispy and thin. Real authenthic iranian food. Looking forward to going again. Been looking for an Iranian resturant as most are Turkish or Cypriot doing kebabs , this is the real deal. Went back, still good.

Nice hidden gem in Crystal Palace. Had a lovely and tasty meal last night. Food was well presented and fresh. The lamb was so tender with no fatty parts (like other restaurants with this type of cuisine). Food was hot and delicious, plus the staff were super efficient and friendly. Inside seating set the ambience for the Persian part of the world. Loved that you can bring your own drink and pay a small corkage charge... very pleasing indeed. Will definitely be going back!

The quality of the meat: very good. Portions: too big. Prices: appropriate. Persian spices: not in the dishes we picked, unfortunately. The crispy rice with beans and meat made us believe that it would be a great dinner. The rest let us down a bit. Nice food which could have come from anywhere really.

A great restaurant serving Persian cuisine throughout the day, built with a lovely interior. I tried the vegetarian aubergine curry - very tasty and mild. The falafel wrap was ok. Would like to try some of the other dishes at some point, however i do feel the menu was a bit overpriced - especially the wrap (i got a better one somewhere else in s.london for almost half the price).

Had lunch here last week. Very tasty. The saffron ice cream was delicious! Just for info, I checked a comment made by "Ell W" about their hygiene rating - they were in fact rated level 4 (very good) on 1st October 2019 by Lambeth Council inspectors.

Little bit hard to find but you won't be disappointed. Really good grill and rice dished. I highly recommend to try their drinks especially one with dates and nuts in it. Almost like milkshake but so much better. Very generous food portion.

I used take away and food was authentically Persian, warm and nice. Quick deliver even though I live in Bekenham. Highly recommend it!
