The food was obviously delicious as you expect. The Sake was fantastic and the recommendations were so helpful.
The waitress (little one who was quite new) was fantastic though. It’s definitely the service that makes the meal and she dealt with us 10 so well. Props to her!

Private Dining experience
The private dining rooms are detached from the main restaurant. The Tochi room is a big space for a long table with inbuilt speakers you can use to set the mood.
Service was efficient but would have liked a bit more banter from the staff. Be warned though, they are way too generous with pouring the wine.
The fried chicken was really good. Highlight of the meal for me. The black cod was nicely spiced. The crab bao buns were so good I didn't take a picture. The steak was tender just the way I like it. Egg fried rice in my opinion was just average. The selection of desserts were top dollar. In summary, I think the food was very good.
Would definitely go back to try out the a la carte menu and experience the restaurant's atmosphere. The amaretto sour was definitely a 8+ out of 10 so good cocktail but pricey for some.
Very cool restaurant inside. Service was excellent, all staff extremely friendly and helpful. The wine pourer guy was very enthusiastic, often topping my glass up before I'd had a chance to take another sip from the last time he topped it up!
Food was lovely, especially the JFC and the Bao Buns. The scallops let it down slightly, not terrible but have definitely had better.
Overall great experience, pretty pricey compared to other similar so wouldn't go regularly.
I have been wanting to come to this restaurant for ages. And finally we did come for dinner. Really nice vibe, they have DJ playing music. I love the concept, like small plates i had 5 dishes to share with my husband. Fried baby squid was so yummy, Prawn tempura and fried rice were fine. Nigiri was melt in my mouth and Sirloin was very tender. Thanks to our server Luca he was very friendly.
Would love to come back for Nigiri and try passion fruit Soufflé 🤤🤤🤤
I really loved the Beef tataki but the other dishes were so underwhelming! Some weren’t seasoned well but they all did come with quite a bit of salt on the side. I had really high expectations. The soufflé was very nice though
Would give this place a solid 4. Makki rolls were average, the cod was great as was the garlic rice. Salmon was ok. Passion fruit soufflé was excellent. Meg was our server and she was lovely! Very expensive for what it is and can get a better experience in this price point in my opinion. Pleasant experience over all

I arrived in london after travelling from birmingham to meet a group of friends at lucky cat for a birthday dinner.
It was the wrong location and I was supposed to go to the new lucky cat restaurant in Manchester! So I was on my own!
The bar attendant - Akshay who was super nice and such a gentleman and a true credit to the establishment made me feel at ease and chatted to me while he worked away and I didn’t feel like a loner at all! I even dined by myself which was delicious

I can’t believe I got to go to the restaurant owned by the chef that got me into cooking. Without binge watching Gordon Ramsay I wouldn’t have been able to tap into a passion that I love to do. The looks, the food, quality, service, I even asked tinder the kitchen because I just had to. SHOUT OUT TO JAMES THE SERVER AND THE COOK IN THE PHOTO for showing me everything about the place. I couldn’t believe how lucky I got to see such an amazing wonderful place. I will never forget the phenomenal experience I had here
One of the best experiences. Best beef in my life. The egg fried rice si really special and the korean spicy chicken was amazing. But on top of this the staff is really professional but friendly in the same time. Big hand for Ludovico. :)
The place was stunning, loved all the decor from the little gold lucky cat chopsticks holder to the lucky cat statues on the the shelves. The bao buns were definitely a highlight to the meal, it was so soft and juicy and loved the little branding on the bao. The draw dropping dessert was certainly a one of a kind, I’ve tried many cheesecakes in many restaurants but nothing like this one, other restaurants cheesecakes are very dense and too sweet, this cheesecake was the lightest cheesecake you could get, it was like eating a cloud with the right amount of sweetness. The soufflé was perfectly risen and that added design was just the cherry on top to finishing this meal!!!
Chefs table experience. Private service along with 6 other couples. Elliot was excellent at preparing and serving our dishes. All dishes were prepared and presented well and were all of good standard with plenty of room for improvement. None stood out as outstanding though apart from the beef fillet which was almost perfect.

The service was very attentive but not too much. They explained the menu and advised us on how many dishes to order etc etc.
The atmosphere was great and the food and drinks were outstanding.
The decor of the restaurant itself is very cool yet comfy.
The only slightly annoying thing I would say is that there was a stated dress code when booking. However, there were some families in the restaurant with lots of buggies bags coats everywhere and wearing sportswear and tracksuits - not smart casual.
We were there for a special occasion, at 8.30pm and would have preferred it if everyone had to abide by the same dress code.
We booked the Chef’s Table for a late lunch on Christmas Eve and it was absolutely incredible. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!
Usually with taster menus there will be a couple of stand out dishes, but this wasn’t the case at all here. Each dish that came out was unusual and equally amazing.
Would highly recommend this to everyone and anyone!
We enjoyed every! The food is amazing. The service is great. Fantastic ambience.
Pricey but tasty. Some may balk at the prices on the menu (mostly the drinks) but there are some beautiful dishes here, served up by some friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The monkfish skewers were excellent and the sirloin was delightful (an experimental special that blended curry spices and pomegranate rather than the normal Szechuan offering)
The old fashioned was perfectly made.
The interior is cosy, plush, with a hint of red neon in choice areas - really enjoyed the atmosphere.
I guess there is a lot of competition for decent food around London, and you can definitely get bigger quantities of food for less money - but I would definitely recommend the Lucky Cat if you’re looking for something well crafted and fun.
