My local Portuguese restaurant ��love it. Very good value for money. The food is lovely and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant if u want to experience the Portuguese cuisine.
I done my daughter's 4 birthday party yesterday from food to staff and owners everything was excellent and the kids enjoyed the party and the time that they spend there at the restaurant and I will go back and I recommend

Definitely worth it if you’re looking for some good, simple Portuguese food. The bread and butter at the beginning made everything feel more home-like. I would certainly recommend this to anyone.

O Cantinho is one of my favorite Portuguese restaurants ins Stockwell. The food is authentic, which is quintessential when you are looking to get that taste of home away from home. Crossing the door is crossing a portal into Portugal, and we all are very happy to go through it as much as we can. The competition around is fierce, but O Cantinho tends to come lout as winner.
If you love red meat, the Madeira style skewer, or as a friend of mine puts it, a meter-long of char grilled meat goodness, is definitely one of the house-name dishes.
For fish eaters, I always recommend anything squid, octupus, and shrimp related. The first two are not often found in many cuisines, the most notable exception being the fried calamari. But Portugal's ex libris ingredient is the cod fish, and our folklore says over 1000 recipes exist for it. While the offer is obviously not that vast, what O Cantinho offers is great.
To top up the meal, nothing like some Serradura for dessert. A very simple biscuit powder and cream dessert that reminds me of a place I use to go with my family just around the corner where we lived.
A great night out experience, and a nice trampoline into Portuguese flavours if it is your first time meeting them.
Amazing restaurant! very well known within the Portuguese community. Serves the tastiest Portuguese food in London. The family and I have been coming here for years and absolutely love the food and the people. Could not recommend the restaurant more.

A typical Portuguese restaurant, nice food, well presented and very friendly staff.I suggest you to try Bacalhau á Brás, Bacalhau á lagareiro, jardineira de entrecosto, pudim caseiro and serradura.

The ambience is lively and the staff are great fun. The space is a decent size and it has a very homely feel to it (very "Portuguesey") which makes you feel comfortable and at ease.
The food is fantastic, typical Portuguese food; the portions are pretty big which is great, though i did end up sharing one plate of food with someone else, and i still felt stuffed!
What i really enjoyed about this place is how much it reminded me of Portugal when i walked in, the decoration is simple yet makes you really feel at home, and they a television with Portuguese cable so you don't miss your football matches/soap operas! The place really does have everything to make you feel as if you're at home, and the food also plays into that.
Great Portuguese food.
Nice cozy Portuguese restaurant. I heard about it from all my friends living in London and finally got to try it. The staff was super nice and welcoming and it was a bonus to speak Portuguese with them. We got to take our dog inside which meant we could only stay on the bar side of the restaurant but the experience was as good. Food was so nice definitely worth the try and I'd definitely go back to try other dishes.
We went there for my birthday with my husband and our baby. We booked the table online and shared about the occasion. They already had a baby seat prepared for us, our waiter was amazing. He was kind, funny and in such a good mood that made us feel like home... The food was delicious and it also felt like home... Especially those hand cut fries...oh dear.
They also surprised us with happy birthday song and candles on our dessert ...so thoughtful and moving...
Honestly, we are going to become regulars... absolutely AMAZING time... Thank you so much.
Brilliant and authentic Portuguese cuisine. Staff cannot be lovelier. When I visited, they didn't have bacalhau a bras in the menu, only the natas version. After I asked, they checked the kitchen and offered to make it using the ingredients they had for me. Lovely service and attention to detail given mid range price. Also hugeeeeee portion size compared to London standard.

Feels like being back home in Portugal! Delicious authentic Portuguese food and exceptionally friendly service. A true Portuguese experience that I highly recommend.
Friend and I were venturing into Brixton, and our eyes met with this cosy restaurant. We saw the prices and thought Wow! Amazing, and the names interested us. So we sat down and ordered two desserts to share; the Pudim de ovos and Bolo de bolacha. So incredible! Didn't expect the coffee undertones in the Bolo de bolacha, and the Flan cake was irresistible and soft and tender! Next time, my friend and I will enjoy the sandwiches.
The food and the atmosphere are amazing. The service too is great, they were really helpful and informative about some questions we had. We will be back!
Had a lovely lunch at this Portuguese restaurant near Stockwell. It was all so good - food, waiters, and the atmosphere. The waiters were friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to the menu.
I got the bacalhau com natas. Satisfying and hearty baked dish with saltfish, potatoes, cream, and cheese. The waitress also gave me olive oil and vinegar to help cut through the richness. Was a perfect dish for a gloomy day in London.
The restaurant itself felt like something that came straight out of Portugal. Even the coffee cups and sugar!
Would definitely go again if I ever want to satisfy my Portuguese food cravings. Would highly recommend newcomers to go too.
Very traditional Portuguese place. The decorations is typical and even the music. You can really see portugal 🇵🇹 details everywhere.
The food is also typical, with dishes from all over the country.
Portions are large, and food is good.
Price is ok for London. There is a good selection of wines and pints of Super Bock (beer).
The mains are absolutely fabulous, the starters a bit small for the price. Good service and authentic cuisine. The place and furniture a bit out of date.
