One of the best tasting curry houses in the locality along with very Friendly staff and attentive service, competitive pricing too, keep up the good work PALKI :)
I'm surprised by the rating of this place here to be honest. On the craving of some indian food I ordered here through deliveroo. Tried the aloo dum gravy, chicken tikka, onion rings among many of their starters. My favourite here though is the biryani. It's not the typical biryani you get in india or elsewhere. It has a nice aroma and very gentle taste which made me love this place. I do hope more people try this place and it gets a more deserved rating.
Good environment in the restaurant. Sweet service. Yummy and not pricey food. Beyond my expectation and I’m very satisfied. Highly recommended!
I'm glad we discovered this jewel of a restaurant on our trip to London from the States. We have eaten at many Indian restaurants over the years and my partner and I both agree this is the best that we've eaten at anywhere. The curries are delicious, the atmosphere pleasant, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. The prices are also quite reasonable. Highly recommended. If we lived here, we'd be back every week.

Best food, best service. Very friendly team. I recently went back to London for a visit to my old neighborhood and ate here 5 of the 7 nights I was there. The food is amazing and the friendly and welcoming team made us want to keep coming back. I can’t wait to see you guys again.
What great luck we had stumbling upon the fabulous restaurant. My partner and I love Indian and try it everywhere we go. This was incredible and among the best of the best. The owner Abdus Salam greeted us so kindly. He is very warm and told us many interesting stories about his business and life. He has owned this restaurant since 1991 and its easy to understand why he has had such sucess!! If you have a chance go try this great place. Portions are generous and prices are quite reasonable!! Thank you for a super meal!
My parents and I had the tandoori paneer, naan, rice, chicken tikka, lamb korai, and sabzi haleem. The food was absolutely delicious and the owner made us feel so welcome. He was incredibly friendly and the service was impeccable.

My son and I visited this restaurant after watching QPR lose on Saturday - we needed cheering up! Thankfully, we made a good choice of restaurant. My family and I recently dined at Polki Indian Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the owner and seated promptly. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with soft lighting and beautiful Indian decor.
The menu at Polki offers a wide variety of traditional Indian dishes, and it was hard to choose just one. I ended up asking the owner for suggestions and he recommended the variety dishes. The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the sauce had the perfect balance of spices. The naan was warm and soft, and it complemented the dish perfectly.
The portion sizes at Polki are generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service.
Speaking of service, the staff at Polki were attentive and friendly throughout my entire meal. They checked on me regularly to ensure that everything was to my liking and promptly refilled my water glass. The waitstaff was also knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer any questions I had.
Overall, I highly recommend Polki Indian Restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or looking to try it for the first time, you won't be disappointed at Polki.
So many times I hope to see wonderful ambience with traditional music from the country represented in the restaurant I am eating, comfortable chairs & table, kind and friendly waitstaff & in this case the actual owner waited on us, large selection on the menu, and most importantly, tasty food with good sized portions for a fair price. This restaurant had all of the above! Would eat here again and again if I lived in the area. Traveling through sadly I only get to eat here once as I live in Hawaii, in the USA. But if I did live in Kensington, or Notting Hill, I would eat here once a week for sure!!! Thank you for a lovely dinner! #gallowaysonmission

I was feeling so sorry today that I found out about palki just few days ago, the most important fact is food is excellent, so deserves all the compliments I must say.
Whenever I will come London I won’t miss this place for sure.

The quality of the food here is incredible, especially at the prices! We were four seasoned curry-eaters and we were all so impressed. They do classic dishes as well as Bengali specialities so well - generous portions too! Really friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back, all the way from East London....
