First time coming here and I was pleasantly surprised. The grilled prawn salad was the best salad I’ve ever had and I was served by the new manager Philippe and his staff member, Richard, who were both incredibly lovely and kind! Air con and well priced good food! Will come back here again! Thank you!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Leadbelly's Bar & Kitchen, and it was an absolute delight! The lasagna was absolutely delicious - the layers of pasta were cooked to perfection and the sauce was full of flavor. The ricotta cheese (I think) added a wonderful creamy texture, and the generous portion of melted mozzarella sealed the deal for me. It was a classic lasagna that I could not get enough of. The second dish which my wife had was the grilled salmon with roasted potatoes - and it was just as good as the lasagna! The salmon had a delicious smoky flavor that was complemented nicely by the roasted potatoes. The potatoes were cooked to a golden crisp and added a wonderful crunch to the dish. It was a great combination and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty meal in the Surrey Quays area. Overall, our experience was outstanding and we can't wait to go back!

An excellent menu for breakfast/brunch. Food is beautifully presented and delicious - we thoroughly enjoyed the eggs & bacon Benedict, and the full English breakfast. I’d hoped to try their Shakshuka, which looks incredible on their instagram feed, but unfortunately I was told they’d run out of the ingredients required, which was a shame. The hot chocolate and latte was delicious, and we loved that the milk alternatives were free of charge. The staff were friendly, though there were a few odd things. When I arrived for my reservation, the restaurant was pretty much empty, and I was shown to a really tiny table with two very uncomfortable and tiny stools to sit at, which seemed a bit bizarre given that I’d booked, and there were plenty of other tables available with better seating (and usually you’d fill up your better tables first?). They were very happy to let me change tables. I was also asked several times if I wanted to order food, whilst still waiting for my friend to arrive, even though we weren’t late, it wasn’t busy, and there was no need for any rush. Despite the above, the food was good, it’s a convenient location to meet, and by midday it seemed a popular choice for families and there were a lot of young children around (high-chairs also provided).

We loved the place! Everyone was so friendly and the manager Philipo was extremely welcoming. We had the classic bruschetta, vegetariana pizza, 4 formaggio pizza which were all amazing! Will definitely be coming back for more 🤩

Update: Due to the amazing feedback from the restaurant in the comment to my post, I have added another star. When I next get to attend I will be sure to make it a full 5 stars if what is said is true! Definitely check out this place for yourself and find out for me in the meantime! Server was very friendly & when ordering a milkshake, she suggested one she thought was great. Really helpful. Original review: The vibe here is nice. Spacious place. It was a cold, snowy day & we could feel the cold air on us from the vents above. When we mentioned it, the waiter said it likely wasn't that but then came back after with a remote, pointing to it, trying to fix it I suppose (appreciated). Ordered a tasty milkshake whilst deciding on food. We booked our table for 13:30 for our friend's birthday & arrived 10min before. They sat us right away. We had the large main menu on our table - one for each person. Told it ends at 14:00 & a different smaller menu would be out after. At 13:40 our whole party was nearing a decision but we were told they had to take our menus and replace with the smaller ones - 20 min before expected. The halloumi fries were good for a starter. The rest of our party seemed happy with their chicken & beef burgers! The birthday girl had a lemonade she really enjoyed. My husband and I ended up sharing a very thin & greasy pizza alongside an overcooked & loaded with mayo on both buns type of beyond meat burger (see business' comment as this may have been rectified since). My husband gave feedback about the burger so they were aware but we didn't let it go to waste and didn't want to cause a fuss as it was fine. The waitress insisted on helping when we got the bill by taking off the service charge - the one thing we would keep but it was done already. I actually want to go back now and try the new amendments to the recipe! They clearly care about what they do. Thank you.

Amazing gluten-free fish n chips! Had an awesome time at Leadbelly's! Not only was the food delicious, but they were cautious with my gluten allergy and have a separate fryer. The manager personally took care of us, the staff was knowledgeable, and we were beyond impressed! We are definitely coming back!

The only "pub" in the area, so we didnt have a choice but to come here:) I like that the sports and the restaurant are seperate, so you can eat and have a drink without being disturbed by the sport and the fans. Good food, came very quickly. Friendly, polite staff and a good vibe.

Got there 30 mins before the kitchen opened at 5pm so we enjoyed a couple of happy hour cocktails and mixed nuts while we waited. Staff were friendly and looked like they actually enjoyed working there. We had the ribs and mussels and omg what value for money - well presented and tasty.. Finished with coffee as no room for dessert which was a shame. Nice chilled out place with outdoor seating and interesting artwork. We visited on a Friday, early enough that we didn't need to book

We went here for sunday roast which I highly recommend the veggie.. I ordered the chicken roast it taste so good and the portion size was just right. The only nag I do have is the chicken comes on the bone which ideally I wouldn't of had, as I like just the breast meat on roast dinners, hate messing about with bones on a Sunday roast, I would add this to the menu to explain to those to don't like meat on the bone. The venue itself is nicely done, it's very large with two bar areas, restaurant area, and sports room area, the decor itself is very pleasing on the eye. The restaurant area seemed a little squeezed with tables, defo changed to the layout from older pictures. It was busy and I would advise to book your tables in advance. We was seated and we had to wait 15min before we was seen, and then 45 min until the food arrived. We would return here

Really delicious vegan roast! And my fellow meat eaters who tried the pork and the chicken roasts also had rave reviews!!! The restaurant has a cool vibe inside, really beautiful art and we were given the option to be seated by the sports screens if we wanted! Only downside was that we all ordered roasts, but they mistook my order for a burger so I had to wait 10 mins extra to be able to eat... but it was still worth it! Hugest Yorkshire puddings I've had.

Really nice looking place. Lots of signed art pieces on the wall from local exhibitions and London artists. Cute plants and neon signs upon entrance with rustic interior. Had a beer and some cocktails. I liked overall the venue but I’d prefer more Shoreditch and London beers there, maybe Hackney Brewery or E1 Brew Co. Service was good. I settled for a mock fail and my partner for Magic Rock. They were okay. Might come back when they have wider beer selection and for the food.
