Had a lovely summers day in the garden yesterday for my friends birthday. Good food and good wine. The best pub garden around.

One of my favourite pubs. Always took my kids there. Nice atmosphere. Good food. Staffs are really friendly and helpful. Been there last Friday had the Bbq and the bar downstairs was open which was great where they were serving my favourite drink Pimms...always recommend it highly and not forgetting the food is great...compliments to the chef...the best place to hang out if you want to escape

I travelled from outside London to meet some friends at the Duke, i was surprised how big it was, but also the place is top quality, i only had a drink this time, but next time will book a meal, the car park could do with being a bit bigger and had to park down the side street but not complaining about this. A fantastic place.

Food was good and considering Leigh fans took over the pub the service was very fast, GOD the size of my fish was HUGEeeeeee. Friendly staff and very good beer garden.

A really lovely family friendly pub. Perfect on a summers day with the expansive beer garden, children's playframe and conveniently located conveniences (first world problems when with children). The food was well portioned and delicious, on top of offering a separate children's menu, which was well received by younger members of the lunch date. Most of all, service with a smile. Staff were attentive, available, overly helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Most recommended and will definitely be re-visiting our new 'Local' favourite

We had a steak date night here and were very satisfied. The steak was beautifully cooked and the peppercorn sauce was lovely. The accompaniments were a nice addition too (cherry tomatoes, micro greens, wedges and onion rings). I have to be honest although I polished off the steak no problem I found the rest a challenge to finish but my boyfriend hoovered up the rest and we both left very happy. Thanks!

A fantastic gastro pub, slightly deep within North Ealing, but the trek is definitely worth it. The food and service has always been fantastic, the decor is warm and welcoming, but the beer garden is just out of this word, one of the best in London.

The neck of lamb with red currant is one of the best dishes I ever tried. If you are and Ealing local, I'm sure you have been past it a number of times and in all fairness it is very hard to miss.

This pub is an absolute must try.

Came here for family birthday Sunday lunch for 7 and booked beforehand. Nice beer and very good portions of Sunday roast with even the vegetables being cooked well and half a chicken. If you don't like Yorkshire pudding then say so as you will get it with each roast - nice but not for everyone. Not cheap - £170 for main course plus one drink for each, but good value so recommend

This is a great, homey, massive pub in Ealing that is like a big house, and a home away from home as a local pub for so many. They have a fantastic selection of beers and ciders and also whiskies. They range from Scottish Innis and Gunn on tap to a Belgian fruiteuse on tap as well, to a large selection of Fullers and some nice wines and drams of Glenmorangie to top it all off. In the back, there is a huge yard for a homely beer garden and even a children's play area (for the warmer months). I'd highly recommend this pub if you're in the area.

A pleasant pub experience. Had the ribs. Very tender and delicious. Will return again. Good selection of beers on tap. Just notice that if you are vegetarian, you maynot like their vege platter. Happy to recommend.

Although this place can get quite busy on Friday and Saturday nights its big enough to accomodate everyone. I've never had to stand. It doesn't really have that much personality though which isn't necessarily a bad thing though if you just fancy a quiet pint in this perfectly reasonable boozer. The food on the main menu is reasonable but the specials are very good. They change on a very regular basis. There was some fantastic 'locally-sourced' lamb chops on the specials menu last time round and an incredible lamb shank with gnocchi the time before. Sunday roast wasn't particularly impressive last time round but i'd be willing to give it another chance based on the quality of the specials menu. The pub's beer garden is huge and gets very busy during the warmer summer months although those who don't like children in pubs should probably steer clear during the day - the place is crawling with them...

Food is great and reasonably priced although the wine is a bit on the pricey side. Very comfortable interior and just the sort of place for a get-together with male or female friends.

Nice quiet pub in a leafy part of greenford/ealing. Wide selection of drinks. Decent food with selection of cheese/bread platter. Have yet to try their roast. Good place to come for a cozy chat but also as a group. Free parking in the car park

Great pub, been coming here for years. (Bit pricey on the bar, but its worth it). But the reason I feel compelled to write a review is that I'd like to praise the staff, great service as always, friendly people and also very honest. I was there last Saturday and had a few too many beers and losing my precious Ray Bans under the table. I didn't notice till Tuesday. I called the pub and spoke to Harry, he had them stored safely. Seriously, most times they'd have been long gone. Thanks a lot guys...Good karma coming your way. :-)

Wonderful, relaxing, charming, pub. Only a few parking spaces, and parking restrictions nearby. Prices relatively high, bit worth it once in a while. Didn't eat, but food normally of very high standard. Excellent outdoor children area to rear of garden.

From the initial welcome to a friendly chat as we left this local pub, I was impressed. Although the food was slightly expensive, the choice and quality qs definitely worth it. Two types of lovely curry and a pie with great pastry started the meal. The puddings were not of quite the same high standard but adequate. Can't fault the staff in this establishment. Well worth a visit.

This was an excellent experience and the barman Karl couldn't do enough for us. He has restored my faith in great british service. Will be returning purely for the pleasure of his company.

One of the best Sunday lunches anywhere. A big pub, but with lots of cosy areas. Helpful friendly staff and there's a huge beer garden with a play area for the kids, so will be back with my niece and prove nephew now! Thanks

Bowel shatteringly good service. Good parking, clean toilets and a lovely garden. Fine ales and whisky but this all comes at a price.

The pub garden!!!! This is my recent local pub after moving house and it's amazing. Had my birthday party here in May, Boyfriend and I regularly swing by, and meet up with friends here every now and then. Foods great, staff are great, layout is great, the garden is incredible, somewhat reasonable pub prices... They're all too expensive now and duke of kent is no different. The garden is worth the visit alone.
