As a budding Indian fine dining establishment, Matsya is out to impress with its fully Halal food menu, and impress it does in more ways than one. Where it really caught our attention though, was the emphatic way in which it achieved its objective of presenting traditional dishes, albeit with a modern twist, from various regions of India that you simply will not find in London now, or at any other time in the past. This is fine dining in the heart of Mayfair; so expect prices to reflect both its location and the meticulous effort and planning put in overall. Menu Recommendation Drink - Virgin Strawberry Mojito Seafood - Lobster Country Captain Thermidor Main - Daab Chingri in Coconut Shell Dessert - Sweet Chocolate Paan

Went there for lunch. The food is very good and it and the staff professional and friendly. The decor was not quite there as you can see they tried but it’s a bit off. The chicken soup is great and the slum dog millionaire cocktail is a must try. We also had a chocolate and liquorice dessert which was also very interesting. The place is a bit expensive, well worth it but I wish the decor followed their ambition.

One of the best Indian cuisine restaurants I’ve been to. Good food, lovely staff and service. The overall experience was very good. Also enjoyed that they used steel straws for the drinks and not single-use straws. I’ll definitely come back again.

Indian food like you have never tried before. Based in and around Mayfair, Matsya is a breath of fresh air with their variety. The cocktails are also incredible. Will definitely be back there very soon!

One of my favorites! Food, service and ambience are all very good. Been here a handful of times so I can comfortably comment on the consistency with respect to both food and service! Yes, it’s on the pricier side for their teeny tiny portions they have but it being Mayfair and the sky high commercial rents that the neighborhood demands and all that...ah well. It is a seafood-heavy menu but as someone who doesn’t eat seafood, I quite like everything else that I’ve tried on the menu. So I’d imagine that their signature seafood dishes would be incredible. Special call out to their tandoori chicken kebab, garlic naan and gulab jamun. A major plus point thus far is the ease of getting a reservation here on OpenTable, even at a moment’s notice!

Ate here last night with a group from the office. Food was absolutely fantastic and service was top notch. The paneer and the daal was some of the best i've had here in London. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Matsya was impeccable. The food, service and employees were gorgeous. I was a little saddened by how slow it was because it’s such a gem. If you’re questioning having a meal here. Don’t miss out!
