Love it here. Their loose leaf tea and crumpets are the perfect hangover cure. Really reasonably priced, and the ideal location for people watching as they stroll through the market.

Rushing down what seemed to be the Greenwich equivalent of Diagon Alley (more because of the shape of the street and the quirkiness surrounding it), we entered Red Door, or what could have arguably been at some point an opium den. Without the opium or the prostitutes, but the red lighting, the furniture, the busy buzz of it was all there.

This adorable little coffee shop is beautifully quirky and everything I was looking for on a Sunday morning.

The arty decor with the decadent red couches and the vinyl records creates a very relaxing atmosphere and the beverages complete the cosy feeling that gets created.

The hot drinks are served in pretty vintage looking cups and they taste great. The staff were very friendly as well and happy to help.

I enjoyed the general atmosphere inside the shop and I would gladly go back if I'm in the area again.

Interesting old style “grandmom” living room experience. Great tea, good cakes. One star down for not shiny clean dishes (I had to clean my cup before tea pouring). But worth a visit!

This is a delightful independent cafe on a quirky side street entrance to Greenwich Market. The decor is full of art and even chandeliers and a moon-scape light shade. The tea and cakes are great, tea served in traditional metal tea pots. A small menu means they concentrate on quality, and my friend loved her carrot cake. Recommended.

Love this hidden gem. One of my favorite hideaways in London. Cakes in the window (get the carrot cake - they’ve won an award for it and it’s the best one), Monmouth coffee, hip and cozy interior, and the owner treats you like family when you walk in and remembers regular visitors.

Found this place while looking for a "proper" tea shop in Greenwich, thanks to Google maps. They have an interesting selection of teas, which they serve in cast iron tea pots. I can recommend "the tea with no name". The cakes are also excellent and they had three vegan cakes. Really friendly and chatty staff.

Love this tiny mini coffee shop in Greenwich. They have really vintage seating arrangement and love the way it’s lighting is done. It’s a must visit if you like vintage decor and great coffee with home baked cakes. I always try there spice chai latte It’s just yummm. They have collection of good herbal teas. Must check out this winter

The minute I entered this cafe, I thought it was an unreal experience. Completely different to watch coffee chain made me used to: no logic interior design, random layout, random ornaments. It was then that I realised this was the magic key of the place and i started liking it and feeling at home. In a world were everything is standardized ("what would you like? Have in or take away?") this cafe has a character and this is thanks to the people who work there. Just living the moment as it is.

We discovered this little gem yesterday. Immediately fell in love with the place when I heard Scott Walker being played...followed by Jeff Buckley. Where else do you hear such great music in a café these days? On top of that great coffee, such delicious cakes and super friendly staff.

Lovely little cafe (little being the operative word) serving delicious tea, very rich hot chocolate and the cakes looked lovely. Wonderful soundtrack and great banter. Quirky and perfect.

Very strange to read a negative review about this place. Perhaps posted by individuals who have never worked in a cafe, or by those who say they want to support original, individual ventures but in truth expect and want the ideology of Starbucks, Costa etc. Anyhow, I`ve managed many such places, and I can tell you this is a gem, a true original, with the staff and vibe to match. Of course everywhere has there days when they are up against it, that's life, but my experience was composed of great strong black coffee, thick gold on top, just as it should be. Strong, quality coffee! A brownie from heaven, one of the funkiest music selections I've ever heard played in any cafe, soulful surroundings, and all of it presided over by a Scottish guy with wild hair, an individual? Yeah. But he was working the whole thing, clearly someone who knows how to do it. Is this a place for those who want the time-coded, clock-punching emptiness of those places mentioned above? No. For those who truly support the originals and want the experience that accompanies it? YES. Go with it. A must.

I popped in to this lovely little shop today and didn’t have cash with me to pay for my coffee. Nowadays, I only pay by a card. The gentleman who served me was ever so kind and and offered the coffee to me on the premise that I will return at a later time to pay. I will definitely be back. Thank you 😊.

lovely chap who runs this place with a nice homemade feel. gave me and my friend a hospitable welcome and a free hot chocolate as he mucked up the order for someone else. bringing it back to the grassroots community feel. keep It up cousin!

Best cafe in Greenwich serving Monmouth Coffee. Mismatched furniture including old cinema seats. An LP collection in the back that you can put on the record player. Some absolutely amazing records in there too (from both ends of the spectrum). If you're lucky you can catch the fresh scones arriving (still warm). The only place in Greenwich for true coffee lovers.

Great place to relax and eat. Friendly staff, chill vibes and - most importantly - one of the best sandwiches I've had in London. I got the ham, cheddar and basil bagel, which was toasted and flavoured to perfection. It was so good that I immediately wanted another and was greedily eyeing up the avo+humous ciabatta my visiting mother had bought (thumbs up from her as well). I got a large almond latte to go; it was pretty good, just the right strength, and came in a generous size cup (like a chain store 'medium' - not the typical 'artisan' thimble). Will definitely come back.

Cute little coffee shop. Had one of the best carrot cakes I've had there. Coffee is good and relatively inexpensive. Great, friendly staff. Worth noting it's cash only.

Very nice & cosy place. The staff is extremely polite and make you feel at home. I liked the hot chocolate with almond milk. They also served delicious sandwitches and cakes... I would strongly recommend it.
