One of Chiswick's finest and favourite-st pubs. One of the 2-3 pubs (out of a million?!) on the high street you can rely on for sports screenings.
We have been here many, many times and love it. The last time we were there, it was the cricket T20 World Cup finals..and the manager was brilliant enough to switch 2 screens to cricket just for us.
Food wise no complaints at all. Have had the moistest burgers and creamiest of curry lunches here.
Service is good always...very particular about checking on the table to check if the food is okay. I know most places do this...but the vibe here seems more warm and concerned.
I have visited this place on a Saturday. I love the vibe here. As soon as you enter the pub you will be overwhelmed by a magnificent English energy. I recommend this place especially for tourists in the heart of Chiswick. We had fish and chips,mac&cheese and battered halloumi. Super yummy! I will definitely be back. The staff is very friendly.
Very friendly staff. Sunday roast cooked to perfection. A perfect place for a pit stop during a walk around the west end 👍
Nice food but pretty small portions especially the steak. Would have been useful to know the size / weight from the menu which would have allowed us to order more food at first as opposed to having to order after with a considerable wait.

We’ve been here a few times to watch the football and yesterday they had a very good band on (band of king, I think). The service is always friendly and we really like the fact they have small plates, you get a discount for three or five and they’re all amazing. A great night out!
I have to say I had such an amazing time with my mates with some food and pints here. Our server Jenni did an amazing job and was really attentive and fast with our orders. She is a dedicated team member and goes the extra mile!! Will definitely come back!
Visited Packhorse to watch some rugby with friends who were around on vacation. Great staff and atmosphere. We had rugby on one side and live music on the other. Had a few beers and some food for sharing. The staff at the bar is always very welcoming. Definitely recommend!

Would highly recommend for a meal or just drinks and snacks. Plenty of space and tables available with an outside area as well. All the staff are great, especially Sophie. The place has a great atmosphere!
Updated review: The pub has now been refurbished and has a much less complicated menu.The staff are lovely and the seating arrangement is great 😊

Drove down to Chiswick for a quiet weekend away and came here for a nice bit of lunch. Thalia was absolutely amazing! Gave us lovely ideas and recommendations on how to spend our weekend along with great service.
Great pub that does the basics right (food, drink, seating) but then adds superb service on top. Polly & Talia could not have done more to make my family feel welcome.
This pub has an excellent ambience. Customer service are very friendly and the food is brilliant. Overall a fantastic pub for live sports and the Sunday roast is phenomenal 👍🏽 They also have a big outdoor seating area at the back which is nice.
Polly is such a girlboss. She is not only gorgeous, but has great conversation and is the best server you will ever come across. She is so knowledgeable about different types of tequila and is great at her job. She deserves a raise immediately. 5 star all across the board. Thank yew.
Quite a cavernous establishment. Quick, polite and happy service by the staff, thoroughly welcoming. Plenty of both keg and Cask on offer. Loads of big screens dotted around for sports lovers. An ideal venue for groups. Well worth a visit!
Nice pub with lots of space inside as well as out the back and front. Plenty of tables and leaners around inside. Prices are reasonable, especially for the area. There is a good selection of snack and full meals that come out pretty quick and taste good. Several screens for sports too.
