Yamagoya - London - Photo album

My 1st time, I made an effort to have a quick meal at this restaurant. Although, this is self-service. The noodle is super delicious and authentic, with reasonable price. Highly recommended for quick meal. Especially for office workers, students, and people working nearby. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very delicious and authentic Japanese food for a great price. The food was also ready very quickly. Ideal if you don’t have a lot of time but still want a lovely meal.
Despite being in a cost-of-living crisis Yamagoya offers great value, generous portions, great-tasting menu, friendly service! Highly recommended for a day out (so close to Waterloo station) and a good quick meal before you go to the theatre (a few minutes’ walk to Young Vic and Old Vic).
A nice traditional ramen place, with a couple of veggie options available. Really enjoyed their take on a cold ramen salad - it’s perfect for summer.
Walked down to this area to try some Asian food and found this Japanese ramen store. Menu is quite simple. The hot ramens come with the option of pork, chicken, or tofu; and the cold noodle as well. The restaurant also offers rice and curry. I tried the chicken Oyako Ramen and it was quite nice. Un
A cozy spot with an incredible ramen broth! Their rice bowls are also very spot on, highly recommend for those craving hot authentic ramen or rice bowls with reasonable price.
Ramen was nice, classic noodle and classic presentation. chashu was soft and flavoursome but not the melt in your mouth kind. Ajitama egg, I love that they give a whole egg, lovely sweet flavour. Soup is tasty but a bit watery, not the thick traditional broth you’d expect for tonkotsu. Over all en
Kokura Ramen offers a well-prepared ramen broth with a balanced flavor. While the noodles were slightly undercooked, the chashu and other sides were served in good proportions. The seaweed was a bit too soggy, though this seems to be a common issue. The chicken karage was a highlight, properly seaso
Such a delicious ramen! Will visit again 🙂 I appreciate how succinct the menu is and every ramen tried was really good. The only aspect of potential improvement is adding more vegetarian options on the menu
The ramen and the eggs were very savoury, it wast so comforting to have them. The staff was absolutely friendly and professional. A wonderful dining experience.
One of the best ramen in town. The place is simple and unpretentious, more suitable for lunch. The services is fast. Yamagoya ramen was absolutely delicious - rich, salty and flavourful. It is also pretty cheap vs other ramen places. Highly recommended
Not bad at all, and good value. The ramen isn’t really ramen - more like Chinese egg noodles - but honestly, it’s not bad and it was a very good portion. The soup was very tasty and rich, and the toppings were standard ramen fare. For £9.90 in London these days, you can’t ask for better value! I al
Yamahoya has very tasty ramen in Waterloo. The shop is small. If you can, you should make a reservation. The menu is clear. You order at the counter. My ramen was extremely tasty. The team was very friendly. I was particularly impressed by the fair prices. Highly recommended!
Great value for money. The curries for £7 are rather simple but plentiful and tasty enough, perhaps on the spicy side for some customers. The ramen dishes are very good too, with plenty more ingredients and combinations. The gyoza, though small in portion and size, was delicious! Kitchen is fast, se
Short version: Recommend by a friend and finally had a chance to try it today. The food was so good and the price is not expensive too. Really authentic Japanese food. —— Normally if I write a long review it means there are improvements but this time it’s the complete opposite- Walked in and was g
Clean place, fast service serving a small menu of ramen and curries. Served in 10 min, I ate in 5 a hearty vegan curry with perfect rice, spicy sauce, corn, tofu, seaweed and a croquette. Pretty cool if you want to grab something quick before popping to the Young Vic for a 7.30 play.
TLDR; A very good decent bowl of ramen at a very fair price. Very chilled environment which is perfect for a quick lunch. Yamagoya definitely captures the small local ramen shop vibe with its decor. It uses a lot of wood and neutral colours to give a nice homely and relaxing atmosphere. It also op
