I’ve been enjoying Caribbean meals from Rhythm Kitchen ever since the Westfield Mall outlet opened in 2012. Consistently great food at a fair price. The whole chicken with 4 sides is particularly good value.

Food was scrumptious! Oxtail we're good could have been a bit more tender but great taste! Oxtail juice was delicious also. Food good service was also.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad lunch here.
The food is ALWAYS on point and the portions are pretty generous. The bowls look small, but trust me, tip them on to your plate and you’ll see there is definitely more than enough!
£21ish for braised oxtail, rice and peas, coleslaw, roti and a regular sized sorrel drink (which hits you with the ginger- absolutely not a complaint).
The seating area is busy, but is Westfield, so what are you gunna do? Can still find room to sit down though, and if you sit close enough to the front of Rhythm Kitchen you get good music gently playing while you eat.
You should absolutely eat here if you get the chance.

I went to the Bank of England Museum today to see the Pardner Hand exhibition. It’s a very interesting but very small display, no longer than 2 feet width in display boxes. There’s a link attached to the pictures where you can scan the barcode and get a guide on the exhibition and see some videos about the experiences of some of the Caribbean elders who lived through it. That was a good idea so I can listen to that and probably share it. Personally I think it should have been at the V&A and on a much bigger scale. Not sure the reasons why this wasn’t planned for. Maybe there wasn’t enough material (I doubt that), maybe it would have taken a lot longer to collect it. It would have been worth another year or two waiting to see it get the recognition, and attention it so greatly deserves.
To drown my sorrows I wanted hard/soul food, I popped into Westfield and found this little gem. I haven’t been there for a few years and never ate there when I was frequenting Westfield.
The service was lovely and the food hit the spot perfectly. I had Mac and cheese and it was perfect. I closed my eyes and felt my mother moving around the kitchen, creating an array of wonderful dishes but my favourite was Mac and Cheese. GO AND TRY IT
IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Loved the flavours of the wrap but the roti was hard for me . Lady cashier need to smile a bit but the guy with blue hair who put the food in tray really impressed me, he take care the presentation of the food on the tray that is looking very nice and everything in order side plates in order same direction . He take his job very seriously and take care of the costumers .

First time here. Oxtail was so flavoursome, jerk chicken was amazing. Really great choice for some decent food within Westfield without resorting to a burger etc.

The picture doesn’t do justice for the food as the food was really good. Good portions and flavourful dishes.

I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices and the great value of the set menu for 2. The mixed BBQ was definitely recommended - the portion size was large and definitely worth the price. The meat was cooked to perfection and had a great flavor. Overall, a great dining experience in the shopping mall

The food was absolutely delicious and cooked within expected time.
The staff were polite, had a good knowledge of their establishment and took the time to answer my questions.
I didn't like the atmosphere too much but that was no fault to Rythmn kitchen.

So far I've tried steamed sea bream (fish of the day), jerk salmon, steamed vegetables, coleslaw, fried plantains and dumplings. They were surprisingly good! A bit pricey but is really worth it. Good and friendly service. This is now my favourite place to eat at Westfield Stratford.
Note: Steamed or fried fish takes 15 - 20 minutes to be served.
Edit: Customer service seems hit or miss. Sometimes very good, sometimes not so good.

The food is amazing! I had the goat curry. Very tasty, perfect mix of spices.
As for the drinks (punches and juices) unless you want diabetes, do not bother. I had the run punch which tasted like candy floss.
Five stars for the food thou!

visited on Saturday during lunch hours. food was absolutely amazing, me and my friends couldn’t believe how flavourful the curry goat is! service was outstanding, big shoutout to Xavier who talked us through the menu. would definitely come again.

Rhythm Kitchen in Stratford, London, exceeded my expectations with its excellent service. Xavier, the staff member, provided outstanding service on Friday morning. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and genuine care for the guests made my dining experience truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

On a shopping trip to Westfield I stopped for lunch. Staff was very friendly I recommend the jerk chicken burger..... well I'm so glad I tried it, it was gorgeous, plantain was mmm and a good portion. If there was a little bit more salad in the burger and the plates were warm ( cold plates = cold food) I'd rate you a 5+ .
I'll deffinately eat there again
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

I've been to many Caribbean restaurants but this was very blunt compared to a few of my other favourites. The jerk chicken arrived fast, but cold, also the jerk sauce/gravy portion was too little. The price is too high for the portion sizes of chicken and sides compared to other Caribbean restaurants I've been to and the staff wasn't friendly at all. I'd probably go there again and try something different..

I thought the service was great. The food was great. I had the lamb curry which was absolutely delicious. My other half had the jerk chicken burger and said it was the best he had in w while. We deffo recommend

Finally found my go to place to eat if in Westfield.
Lovely people and great service. If they get it wrong they go out of their way to get it right!
Great food. Best place in the food court hands down.
Fried fish plantain rice and peas! Worth the 20 mins wait!

Just had a meal deal for two following our disastrous previous experience. I must say Rhythm Kitchen have redeemed themselves. They were very accommodating in swapping a meat dish for a fish meal which was delicious I'm glad to say I will be back keep up these high quality standards.

The food and flavors are amazing! I'm always satified when I eat here. They never disappoint! The jerk ribs are something I would suggest. The plantains are really good, too!
Katrina Beckles
I took my mum there yesterday for s spot of lunch. We had the lamb curry with rice and coleslaw and plantain. It was delicious. Staff were friendly and service quick. We will be returning.

Great service & authentic fresh clean food, reasonable prices for quality all round. I recommend Rhythm Kitchen and I will eat here frequently and tell all my friends. Keep doing what your doing ! it's clear management are effective as staff morale is high and as a customer I was well received by Cora and all other staff I engaged with including the manager. I can't find any negative to outline. A truly positive experience to be repeated well done!

Rhythm Kitchen is a great West Indian place to eat, speedy service, friendly efficient staff, great food with very good portion sizes; I can't think of anything to complain about basically! I've been time and time again and will definitely be going back. The day Rhythm Kitchen opened, Nandos and I got separated lol

Steamed sea bass is my favourite any time in the restaurant . I cant go anywhere when i visit Westfield. Make sure that u are really hungry if u want to finish all of fish, rice and salad. The portions are more than enough for one person !

Our first time of trying Rhythm Kitchen. We were not disappointed. One Sunshine Salad and one Curried Lamb. Both delicious. We didn't see the notice of Goat Curry until later. Had we seen it before ordering that is what we would have had. Next time!

I’ve now moved across London to be in the east. So far, so good! It’s such a refreshing feeling and I get to experience a whole new side of the city. Dare I say, the more ‘real’ London. I made use of my newfound location jumping on the train to Westfield Stratford. And along the way I ate up a jerk chicken meal from Rhythm Kitchen. This mall is huge, the meal wasn’t, but both were still worthwhile experiences. Read on to see how I fared for my first return to a Westfield in quite a while.

At Westfield Stratford City and craving something good to eat? Might I recommend Rhythm Kitchen for quality Caribbean food?. I really enjoyed my recent lunch there. Juicy jerk pork belly in a homemade marinade (with two sides, £9.95) was ample and yummy. As were my sides of coleslaw and jerk seasoned fries. A glass of homemade sorrel paired nicely. Kemey joined me for the meal went with the special of the day, jerk salmon with seasoned rice (£8.45). Dessert? Rhythm Kitchen’s got ‘em. We were just too full to try any.

It was my first time trying Caribbean food and it was so lush 😭 the bbq jumbo wings were so succulent and the jerk chicken was soft and divine!! My favourite had to be the jerk chips with chilli ketchup 😍 would deffo visit here again but I won't be having the fruit punch again!

There is a wide array of food choices at Westfield Stratford; it makes a mockery of the food court options available at The Trafford Centre. This post is a summary of cheap eats which can be had for around a tenner, as explored by yours truly during some recent work trips. It’s not all fine dining and it helps to balance out the more expensive meals. The hierarchical structure of the food options at Westfield Stratford are quite defined, on the top floor you can find the usual chain restaurants such as TGI, Nandos, Giraffe along with an All Star Lanes. Outside in ‘the Street’ area more interesting options include Wahaca and Busaba Eatthai. The second floor will be the main focus of this post with good low to mid end options at affordable prices. This post does not cover the Great Eastern area around Waitrose with the likes of Umai by Japan Centre and Arancini Italian Deli as I simply haven’t got round to trying them yet. There is an abundance of different types of cuisine at the ‘World

Sometimes it so happens that you just visit a place by chance and then you love it beyond description. I loved the place and especially the food was exceptionally delicious. It was home made and authentic. It was appropriately flavoured and I really like the way the servers just made the whole experience worth while. A must visit!

I have been patiently waiting for a good restaurant offering spicy food which would make its mark on this part of Essex. The food served here reminds me of the meals cooked by my mother or the restaurant i had once visited while vacationing in the Caribbean. They took a while to serve us the food, but the meal was wonderful and well worth the wait.
Zachary Morton
I am so thankful for the wondrous meal we had at this restaurant. the restaurant offers a good menu for calorie conscious people. the portions are gigantic and the food is a great deal for money. The service is spot on. the staff is friendly. the location is also favorable.
Ava Taylor
I recently tried this place and was pretty disappointed with it. The food was of substandard quality and the charges for which it was available were exorbitant for it's worth. The ambience was just fine and the service was also just okay but that did not make up for the bad food quality. Thus, I would not like to visit this place again.
Lexi Scott
This restaurant is perfect if one needs to refuel on energy on a busy shopping endeavor. They serve delicious oxtails and burgers. My favorite is the jerk chicken burger, it is very well seasoned and delicious. they serve excellent drinks too. The servers are friendly. The service is swift. The ambiance is also good.
Prateek Dua
The place is promising, serves delicious and flavoursome food, if only they served it well this meal could have been one of the best! We ordered a Meat dish and ribs, perfectly cooked, uplifting flavors, well seasoned dishes and mouthwatering sauces. Served COLD , extremely disappointing end of the day!

I recently tried this place and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, especially the jerk chicken which was cooked to perfection. The quantity is pretty good as well. The service is pretty quick and efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly. The ambience is pretty decent and comfortable. Thus, I would love to visit this place again and would recommend others to try it as well.

My experience at the restaurant have been a very mixed one. Some of the dishes that we ere particularly looking forward to were not available. My kid did not like his meal and left hungry. The food was just average. the prices are steep. The staff is unhelpful. the ambiance is nice though.

If you are looking for a change from the traditional food then this going to be a welcome one. This place is an extensive food court and you will love the variety that is being offered. I appreciate the friendliness of the people and the courteousness of the servers. The food is great and the best part is that the chicken served is fresh and moist even during the evening. A one time visit for sure.

I have been a lover of Caribbean cuisine all my life and this place truly offers a great variety of dishes of the Caribbean cuisine. I ordered for a Jerk chicken meal which was served instantly and came with two sides. The chicken was well cooked and the coleslaw was well prepared as well.

The place is nice and had some really good food . The food was very tasty , especially the jerk chicken . The mango salsa however wasn't good , so avoid . The food is affordable and good value for money . The portions were huge too , very filling .

Jerk chicken fix in east London! After Notting Hill carnival, this is by far the next best jerk chicken I have had in town. Order it with jerk chips, fried plantains, mango salsa and rice - you have a great meal right there. So next time, you're in the area shopping, you know where to head in the food court.
