Looks fantastic the TWG flagship shops. Didn’t realise they have so many different flavours of
Teas all over the world. We don’t go inside the shop but looks good from outside. It’s right next to Leicester Square. Stations are Leicester Square, or the Piccadilly Circus.. Recommended. Worth a visit but thinking the tea there are quite expensive.
Very large selection of teas, great staff to help with tea selection. 2 minuses, it is too big assortment that parses the eyes and prices.
One of the coolest tea shops I've ever been to and a fantastic place to purchase loose leaf tea. There are tons of varieties and the staff are extremely knowledgeable. Picked up a few boxes before heading back to Chicago!
This place is pretty good. The atmosphere of this place is quite nice. It is very spacious. The tea for sale on the lower floor is lined up and set up in a really cool way. The upstairs is a nice place as well, where you can have a meal with tea. You may have to wait a little before you sit, but they have a nice museum to look at while you wait. Me and my family went their and got three tea pots. One of their teas was pretty bland but the others were really good. When you order, you really aren’t sure which tea will be really good or just bland. Their desserts are also really nice. There is also tea sold downstairs but it is a bit overpriced for the size it is sold at. But overall it’s a nice place to visit if you are in London. Probably wouldn’t recommend to buy the tea sold in packages downstairs but instead just have it made for you in the upstairs dining area so you can try.
I have lived in California for 18 years, after living 16 years in Europe, every year I like to return to the old continent. One of the cities I love to visit is London. Walking through its streets is the best therapy. There are always novelties and places to discover, but there are classics where I always return: This corner is one of them. They have the largest selection of teas and their staff is very professional, they inform you of their qualities in a friendly way. On the first floor of the store there is a beautiful tea room. But they closed it because of covid and so far they haven't opened it. It is really fine, I hope that on my next trip it will be available. It is a classic.
I highly recommend this place for a lovely pause in London.
This is my favorite tea shop in London, their Earl Grey selection is simply lovely. The shopkeepers are very kind and helpful. I have tried several different blends and have never been disappointed. The shop is beautiful and definitely one I would recommend visiting on your next trip into town.
I visited the store as a birthday treat. I bought the teabag boxes and the Bain de Roses is by far the best rose flavoured tea I ever had; also loving the Alfonso tea with subtle mango flavour. I was curious after all the mixed reviews online. Yes, the tea can be expensive, but I did not mind as it was a special occasion. The young lady staff was polite (it was an early and quiet time in the shop anyway), offered help when saw me wandering and sniffing around as the selection is quite overwhelming. An older lady assisted me at the till and she was stern but polite too. Over all a great shop and will shop again.
It is a pure pleasure every time to explore the wide range of teas in the TWG shop. Being my absolute favourite tea myself, I can linger here forever. The shop is very tastefully decorated and you can try all the teas. The prices for the tea are fair, sometimes cheaper than over the internet (due to direct sales). I like buying gifts here for myself and for friends and relatives.
Amazing restaurant! I booked for myself and friends for my birthday to have afternoon tea. HUGE selection of teas which are just to die for and the food was superb. I we t for the London afternoon tea and my friends went for the Paris afternoon tea. We were all very impressed and I highly recommend going here for a special occasion as it is worth every penny!
We had an amazing experience! Billy helped us understand the world of teas. The different types, flavors, and uses. Being from The US and not ever drinking a quality Tea!
We are truly glad we stopped by and Billy took the utmost care of us, with patience. He explained what temperatures, time and preparation for each of the tea flavors we purchased, even if we could sweeten or not the teas. He gave us a slight breakdown of the science of teas.
The only thing I missed was taking more pictures and a a picture with Billy! Thank you!!!!
Amazing store! Tasty tea ☕️ so sad that you have uncomfortable moments trying to take pictures because the attendant screams DONT RECORD ME. I’m not recording you! I’m recording the moment. I traveled so far to be here and this is a highly tourist place. Hire less bitter people
Amazing !!! Very tasty :))! So many options !!! I literally love this shop ! They have such a large choice of tea ! My favourite ones are Paris - Singapore and Tokyo - Singapour ! The staff is passionate and really helpful with great suggestions. They are smiling and don’t hesitate to let you smell between the different kind of teas ! My favourite tea shop in London :)
Wow...... that's really all I can say. There were SO MANY selections. And the "teatender" as I called him was great. The macaroons were delicious!!! And the scones were made to order! Such an outstanding place!
Over 1200 variety of tea in this store. I will be here for a few days!!! I had a great time going through their offerings. Christmas specials, amazing designs of the packagings and very well informed staff help make it a great experience for any visitor.
