Popped in for dinner on a Tuesday 9PM. Managed to grab a table for 3. Inside is very small. Lovely authentic feel, but could do with the lights lowered or dimmer to create some ambiance.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice on the menu. We over ordered! Highly recommend the Dragon 🐉 Rolls. Cost £120 with drinks for about 8 or 9 plates and bowls.
A small friendly Japanese restaurant. I enjoyed a delicious Chicken Teriyaki and my son had a delicious beef dish. Lots of choice on the menu made it hard to decide. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
The waiters were kinda awkward but they were sweet. The portions are quite small and the sashimi is a little bland but the rest of the food was good. The atmosphere was calm and cool.
Chirashi don was so good! All fresh, many different sashimi and more. Waiters were a little awkward but by no means mean. If I ever go to London again, I might go back just for chirashi don❣️
Stoped by before the British museum! Great choice, fish was fresh, tasty and descent portions. I ordered the salmon platter and was super happy with it (nigiri, sashimi and a roll all in one plate). My friend had the beef udon soup and it was amazing!
Exceeded our expectations. Fresh and delicious sushi rolls. If you want a simple and tasty meal after leaving the British Museum, this place ticks the boxes
Great Japanese food. We got there really late, but the host kept the restaurant open with some great recommendations.
The food was fantastic! I am sure the atmosphere would match if we hadn't arrived 5 mins before closing so had the whole restaurant to ourselves.
Really top Japanese food.
The food is incredible! 🍱🍣🍤 It’s a small place with massive, sticky, laminated menus - but everything is delicious - the fresh, clean sashimi… the crisp tempura and delicate sushi rice - beautiful. I paid £20 for a sashimi and sushi bento box and it was the best £20 I ever spent. The service is lovely - plenty of staff who are very kind.
Excellent Japanese restaurant with an extensive menu. We were sat at the counter which was a different experience. The hot food came out first and followed by the sushi dishes. Food was of top quality; service was attentive without being overbearing and the staff were great. Highly recommended for dinner and look forward to coming back and trying the bento boxes as a quick, cheap lunchtime option. Thank you!
Loved the food the location and especially the miso soup. If you sit by the window you will be by the area where the food arrives from the kitchen, I have nothing against this but there was someone standing by it the entire time and I felt a bit self conscious the entire time. Overall would recommend.
Worth a visit as the service is good and friendly. I’d say the food quality and authenticity is similar to Eat Tokyo but certainly more expensive - run by trained Chinese/Malaysian chefs but focus is more on running a business rather than an authentic Japanese experience. The fried ebi was really burnt though so avoid that if possible. Fried udons was really good.
Pretty tasty and well priced. We got a good selection of things. The highlight for us was the seaweed salad. Also, the staff were helpful and the atmosphere was good
