I love this place! I have been to this place almost 3-4 times by now and loved every experience! The food is so delicious and its such a warm place! I generally love having the kimchi stew here and have also tried the kimchi fried rice and vegetable udon! I loveeed the udon as well!
On a cold and windy afternoon, we were craving for some good Korean food. Had decided to visit another restaurant which happened to be closed that day (Thank God!!). A little research on the internet led us to Naru. And boy oh boy! What a great experience it was. Simple set up with mind blowing food. We tried japchae, Korean fried chicken, bibimbap, a dish with rice cakes (forgot the name sorry!!). All of it tasted so so so good!! Definitely recommend this place and will surely visit again very soon.
Small place with great korean food near Tottenham court road. The hostess is very friendly and gives good suggestions. Try their kimchi fried rice and rice cakes.
Welcoming and very helpful staff. Large selection on the menu. Started with the ti PO street food and then bi bap in stone bowl was very tasty and filling with a beer. £22. Definitely will eat here again.
Delicious food, and beautifully presented. Don't be fooled by the simplicity of the decor! Recommend the bi bim bap in stone bowl, the bul go ki (ask for it hot for extra spice - it totally makes the dish!) and pork dumplings for starters - yum!
It’s not Michelin starred food but it’s quick, tasty and the service is brilliant. A hidden gem indeed :)
This was a pleasingly unexpected little Korean place in an unfancied bit of Holborn that filled the spot perfectly.
A larger than expected portion of 'Crunch Chicken' sweetly and oddly tastes just like a gourmet version of a McDonald's Chicken McNugget. Noticeably sugared flesh beneath a light battered coating, it's surprising and not at all unpleasant, in a guilty pleasure sort of way. There's definitely a food dude marketing angle in this, it'd sell...
...last week, I cheated on my favourite Korean joint and sneakily went to Naru Restaurant for dinner. It was no where near as good as my favourite and gah! The regret!
It’s a pretty space, simply decorated, and interestingly, there are no barbecue grills set in the tables, commonplace at other Korean restaurants I’ve visited. Although empty at 6.30 on a Wednesday evening, it did get busier after 7pm. The two waitresses
Naru has neatly been added to my collection of good Korean restaurants in London. After Assa, Kimchee, Naru was the perfect addition! The restaurant is tiny and is situated just off new oxford street, not very difficult to find. It seems to be a family run place which makes it even more re-assuring. The day i was dining here, I happened to be with my pure vegetarian friends and hence decided to take the road not taken and have veg Korean food. We ordered Jap Chae and Vegetable dumplings for starters. Both the starters were delicious! Jap chae was sweet and tangy while the veg dumplings had a great dipping sauce too. For the main course we ordered- Dolsot Bibim Bap and tofu with rice. One tip, the Bibim Bap is pretty bland on its own and you might have to ask for extra chili sauce with it. The main course was great and hit the spot. Not too spicy, not too bland(depending on your sauce intake). Kimchee salad was a great rounder off. However it is not a very cheap place. And on an average a dish costs 8/9 pounds. The portions are enough for one!
It is definitely a really nice Korean place. Must try if you're into Korean food!

It’s so amazing Korean restaurant : nice staff, great service, delicious foods, traditional Korean taste and style - seem like you stay in Korea. (Cooking by Korean chef)
The restaurant is easy to miss but do not skip it ! The staff were really good at their jobs - we went at peak busy time and they served everybody at incredible speeds.
We asked for the Korean fried chicken to be halved (so half of it had the tasty sauce and the other half was just deep fried) don't do that. Enjoy your food mixed in all the rich tasty sauce. We also had the Kimchi rice dish - every mouth was packed with flavour ! They had more soju options than some other places I've been to !
I don't like posh restaurants and the vibe and decorations at Naru were super welcoming and homely.
Great location - super close to some key tube stations and locations in London
Nice small Korean restaurant with restroom and air conditioner. We had kimchi hot pot for sharing. The soup tasted very good. Lots of vegetables.
nice atmosphere, service is fast, and the food is very flavoursome! recommend the beef bulgogi, kimchi jeon, and korean beer (both were amazing). would definitely visit again!
Family run place. The chef is the owner and Korean ! Absolutely delicious food for a great price. Recommend
Really enjoyed our lunch here today. We were a bit last minute and hadn’t booked anywhere. Went to Bi Won across the road but they were full, so we crossed the road and came to Naru.
The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, but we knew they do good food as we’ve been before. There was no lunch menu so maybe why some people don’t come here. We went for a kimchi stew, a cold noodle dish and a rice cake dish to share.
The waitress was super friendly and sweet. When my boyfriend choked on his soup, the waitress noticed and gave him a napkin. It’s the little gestures that count sometimes.
Food was delicious. A bit spicy but they have a good balance of flavours. Some restaurants I’ve been to before just has a lot of spice and it’s hard to eat the food, but this was enjoyable spice.
Would recommend! For the service and the food!
Wow 🤩
Visited this little gem yesterday on a quick stop at London. The service was fast and super friendly.
The food, without doubt the best meal I’ve experienced in a very long time, so tasty and authentic, the flavours were amazing and the food was so fresh. Every mouthful of the dinner was a delight and hit with another flavour.
Would absolutely without a doubt return!
Went in here by chance to avoid the rain. Ordered the kimchi jjigae with rice and gimmari. It was the perfect comfort food and I will definitely be visiting again.
Big Vibes at Naru.
Okay the food is crazy and that is the biggest vibe.
Walking by this place, we were pulled in by the wafts of smokey deliciousness.
Obviously authentic menu and food comes through real good.
Not even offered the option of a fork, that's how you know its real.
Korean fried chicken from here is incredible.
Do it.
Very tasty food, this is the best Korean food I've had in London! Highly recommend LA Kalbi and Yukgaejang!
All dishes we ordered are served hot. The taste is also good. I had the tofu soup which is not too spicy for me. The tofu is soft and not salty which is to my taste. So I am happy with my soup. The other dishes we ordered all meet expectation.
Authentic Korean restaurant, cooked by a friendly ahjuma. Beef spicy soup was spicy enough and well portioned with a good amount of meat. The spicy pork was so tender, juicy and had a good spice kick. The glass noodle was very well seasoned. Will definitely come back here again if we ever visited London.
Amazing food and the taste is authentic. So glad I saw it while walking down that road and I'll definitely go again if I have a chance!
Naru restaurant, is my go-to-restaurant to eat some delicious Korean dishes. My usual go-to-meal is beef bibimbap, but this time I went with a friend and various dishes and we had a Korean pancake, pajeon, spicy Korean fried chicken, spicy pork and Korean glass noodles, japchae and also rice. The dishes are very homely in my opinion and is definitely worth trying. Another fun fact is I did see Sung Kang, the actor who played as Khan in the Fast and Furious films eat here once.
One of the best Korean restaurants in London highly recommended. We ordered Haemul jeon - amazing it was crispy, taste good and the sauce was also very nice; Tteokbokki - that was also tasty it was the right amount of chewiness; bbq beef bulgogi and dwaeji bulgogi was heavenly🌟🌟 the staff nice and care for, the food was quick and at a reasonable price! would def come back again!
We went for a quick dinner stop for an event nearby, and had a lovely and attentive experience.
We had the most amazing Japchae (Korean sweet potato noodles), beef bibimbab and kalbi short ribs. Food was delicious and portions were generous: the japchae is very flavorful while not oily or peppery. Service was quick, and staff were friendly and frequently checked in on us. Very satisfied - would recommend.
