Reviews Harran

Harran makes a great kebab and my favourite part is watching. They use my preferred method of grilling it over open coals (as opposed to a metal griddle) which lends the meat a beautifully smokey taste, and there's nothing better than the salivating experience of watching the skewered meat sizzling over an open fire. The staff are very amicable and if you happen to visit here on a semi-regular basis they will definitely remember your face and offer you tea as you wait which is a nice touch. If I had to recommend a kebab it would be the Adana, but beware, it's spicy!

A very delicious food in generous portions with an exceptional service! 😍 We had rice with the stew meals. I had lamb and veggies stews, while my partner had chicken stews. Both dishes were very delicious and it came with amzing salad with tatzki I believe and some onions mixed stuffs. My partner had Ayran, which was a homemade ones and tasted amazing. I didn't get one because last time I had in another place, it was awful. But apparently it depends on the place. I regret my decision not to have one in here. They closed our service with an in-house compliment of baklava and Turkish tea. A very simple but such a lovely gesture service. The prices are good in general. We spent less than £20 for 2 complete meals and 2 drinks. Very recommended. It's good for a family dinner too!

Very nice food and so many options. You get to see how they prepare your meal. Delicious typical food and in very big portions. The service was also friendly and quick. Before leaving they give you tea and a typical sweet which I really appreciated. Definitely one of the best Turkish places in the area :)

With a relatively low price there was abundance of good food. The service was also very polite and attentive. From the outside it may not well represent the good quality that you will find inside, but it is highly recommended to go ahead and try it out. A complimentary tea and small pastry was also offered after dinner. Simple but good customer service!

Personally my favourite Turkish restaurant in Haringey. Delicious food with wide selection of grilled meat, salads and appetizers. The place is always busy and has a great international atmosphere. I find their service very professional and friendly. I would definitely come back to this place as it's absolutely worth introducing it to my friends. Great quality food for good price!

Astoundingly delicious. The chicken iskender was one of the tastiest things ever. Something about how the tomatoes were sweet and intense, flavors in balance. Baklava was flawless to the point that you feel guilty getting that much enjoyment from a single bite. Service was gracious and simple.

I lived on Green Lanes (yes overlooking the busy road) for three years. Here is what you need to know. I have tried numerous menu items from all of the Turkish/Kurdish restaurants along the Harringay strip. This one is the winner. The staff are attentive, the food is always excellent and most importantly, this is the one that friends who have moved away want to visit for a meal as it always delights. Unlike some of the others alcohol is served at this restaurant. It is my favourite.

I have eaten there about 4-5 times and the food was always extremely delicious. We had Iskender and an aubergine dish. Staff is friendly and service quick. Beware of large portions, but don't worry they have doggy bags.

This would be a 5 star review if they hadn't changed their bread. Still a great place to eat, but that home made bread was something else. Not sure why they decided to change to a packet variety?

I have been coming here with my family for a couple years now and the service has always been great. I would recommend Harran to everyone as the food tastes great and the free bread is absolutely amazing. Sometimes at the end we get free desert which tastes amazing and the staff always care to help.

Since moving back to Green Lanes after 20 years away, I have slowly worked my way through the restaurants and Harran is easily my favourite. Although a lot smaller than some of the others along Green Lanes, the food is very well cooked, full of flavour and great value for money. Although you may see other places appear a lot busier than Harran, don’t be fooled by this and make sure you pay them a visit.

So good! My friend dragged me along here about 3 years ago and I've been coming back ever since, I've sent friends, family, once these confused american tourists (hope they liked it!) . The food is so so nice and fresh, portions are HUGE, staff are so friendly, it's perfect. I live nearer stokey than green lanes but I will always make the trip up here if I want turkish food. I want them to cater my wedding AND my funeral :)

I’ve been coming here since August 2018 and the service has been consistently warm, thoughtful and friendly bar the one new waiter who always seems like he’s in a bad mood. The food is nothing to shout home about. best turkish restaurent in london always feel welcome other places are more fancy and overpriced for the westend brigade venturing to green lanes.
