Great pub to catch the big matches. Watched Lions vs AB,s on Saturday and had a great full English breakfast washed down by a pint of Guiness, all for £5.99, good value for money.

What a great Xmas party our office had Thursday, 17th. The staff were amazing and food was top dollar. We had a karaoke which put the icing on the cake and even the staff joined in

Great spot to catch a match. With a crowd downstairs or a little more subdued upstairs.

Like most Zomato employees, I have been to 'The Cheese' on many an evening. The chicken wings were good, the curly fries were better but the wine was the best (isn't it always).

50 Wings for £10 - that pretty much sums it all. The Cheshire Cheese in the City is a fantastic place to unwind at the end of a hard day at work. They have great beers on tap and even better bar food to go with that. The only downside that I see here is that this might become far too much of a Monday evening habit than I'd like. But then again, I'm not sure if that's a downside at all.

🚇 Tower Hill 🍺 £6.65 Heineken ❤️ A casual atmospheric City boozer. . The Cheshire Cheese is located under the arches of the railway line entering Fenchurch Street Station. Unfortunately, the station doesn’t have a Tube connection, Tower Hill Tube is just a two minute walk away. . There has been a pub on this site since 1600, I can’t seem to find any info from when the current pub was built. Fenchurch Street Station was built in 1841 so maybe around then. . This is a traditionally decorated pub which feels comfortable and welcoming. The bar is a triangular shape with a bright pendant lit servery at the thin end. The seating is all poser tables with a mix of stools and benches to perch on. There are a couple of chain pub features like the faux bookcase and Georgian panel wallpaper to break up the decor. Around the walls are a number of screens which show live Sky & BT sports. There is also an upstairs bar with three dartboards but I didn’t venture up there. . The beer line up was decent and included four cask ales. I had a pint of Heineken, my pint was great but come on guys £6.65 is way over priced. The food menu was British pub grub, Fish & Chips was reasonably priced at £11.99. . I visited on a Saturday afternoon in Spring and arrived in to a chilled and relaxed atmosphere. The backdrop was a soulful and downtempo pop soundtrack which set a pleasant mood. BT sport was on mute so I could catch up with the latest scores around the grounds. The clientele were a mix of day trippers and tourists from America and Spain, all of which seemed to enjoy the pub. During the week this pub gets very busy with suits quaffing post work beers. . Visiting @thecheshirecheesepub was overall a good experience and I loved the atmospheric location. It’s a comfortable casual pub with a nice atmosphere and staff. The beer was good but expensive, the food looked good and was reasonably priced. A good pub for all occasions and definitely worth checking out. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 08.04.23

Great pub. Good prices on drinks. Excellent service especially from Ermiyas. He pulled the perfect ping of Landlord. Also - I have to say - the toilets were immaculate… often times pub toilets are just a bit… well… not good. But here - they are spotless. We will be certain to return. Great place, great people and great beer.

Is this one of the best pubs in London? Seems like it. Burger and a pint of Guinness for £12.90! Great food and great staff (especially Taylor 😉). Highly recommended to anyone looking for a pub with character and affordable grub.

My recent visit to Cheshire Cheese for their Sunday dinner was nothing short of spectacular.   From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm and rustic decor that perfectly matched the Sunday dinner atmosphere or also quite inviting to swing by for a beer. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered pot roast dinner and mushrooms Wellington as a vegetarian option. Hidden Gem!!

Great place to enjoy a good bite, a pint and some sports. Really enjoyed my time here. They were very short staffed when we were there I think, but still managed to provide us with good service. The location is just lovely, like you step right into a film!

Great price, great food, friendly staff. Show them your Tower of London stub and they even give you 10% off. For less than 35 pounds we got drinks and two delicious pub entrees. The food was tops

Staff is excellent. We had the fish and chips. Portions were generous, the fish batter was light and flaky and not greasy. Price was very affordable. Highly recommend for a nice casual night out. We will definitely return!

Good place for a Beer when waiting for a train at Fenchurch street. It is also close to Tower Hill tube station. Was quiet when I visited after work but may return. Second visit a week later and it was a little busier.
