Food was sumptuous and delicious! Small dishes all were payeable like kimchi and radish. First Time we had to pay for kimchi. Usually in Korea or Singapore, when dining in korean restaurants, kimchi would be free Flow. Kimchi was not tasty. Too sourish! Serving staff was ok, friendly. Not those who were at upstairs, Pretty Harsh and cold as they were busy doing their work. But whoever walked in, would be customers and there were no proper waiting place. We wanted to wait inside the restaurant as it was freezing cold outside, the female staff were annoyed as we seemed to be out of the place for waiting. All in all, for food - worth going but if for nice dining experience, choose another one.

We went to this place as we were looking for a Korean restaurant in London. The menu is quite impressive. Staff is friendly and helpful. And food.... we travelled back to Korea while enjoying our meal! Whenever we go back to London we'll definitely come back for a meal! 찰 먹었읍니다!
정갈하고 맛있는 음식들. 그리고 상냥하고 예쁘고 보기만해도 기분좋아지는 사장님의 사모님. 최고!
nice foods and also nice staff
The food was delicious and the servers were lovely !
Lovely food, will definitely come back :)
Definitely one of my Favourite places to eat now :3 응 응 다시 갈 생각 있어! 너무 맛있었거든...
Excellent service. Good food. Always a steady stream of customers. Now a family favourite.
Good service, excellent food and decent price!!
GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!!
Tried korean food for the first time and loved it. The food was fresh, yummy and extremely tasty . Since my friends and myself prefered chicken and seafood as we do not eat pork and beef. They catered very well to our specific needs. It was in all a lovely experience.
A quite nice place to eat. Very warm welcome. I ate Jung Bab and Tobbokki. Quite spicy but very nice. Quite affordable too since it's located in Oxford Street
There are a lot of poor to average Korean restaurants in London (We're still on the hunt for an amazing one). Arirang serves good Korean food, not the greatest we've had in our lives, but much better than a lot of other places we've tried in London
We've been here a couple of times, but only ordered the meat on rice kinda dish (bibimbap, bulgogi, bbq meats on rice). We didn't try their Korean BBQ.
Food is nice and reasonably priced. Good service. Cute orange segments at the end of your meal.
The place is a bit smoky (like all BBQ places are) so don't bring nice jackets.
An excellent introduction to Korean food for a virgin. The pork belly was warm with the tang of black peppers; cuttlefish was spicy again not too hot, but just right. Food arrived a little at a time served by incredibly polite staff. Not too keen on the Korean beer 'Hite', but one can't have everything. We were sat downstairs, where the discretely modern decor did not distract from our indiscrete neighbour's self congratulatory preening to her aunt. Loud neighbours are, unfortunately one of the crosses to bear when eating out in London. All that being said, this was a great meal in a fab new (to me) restaurant.
Excellent food but a bit too rushed. Four of us had a positive experience overall, good selection of starters, all the kimichi were fresh and authentic, noodles were really well flavoured. Then we picked a few other dishes off the menu along with a wide selection of BBQ meats (portions aren't generous) to fold with Bibimbap and lettuce leaves.
The waitress was very attentive throughout our meal and was also happy of helping with suggestions. Only negative point was we really felt rushed as they managed to serve us 100 pounds of food within half hour which gave us no rest between courses and didn't make us enjoy the experience as we should have. At £25 per head, not as cheap as advertised on other reviews but worth a visit.

The first Korean restaurant in London. Arirang is one of my favourite restaurants. I stumbled upon this little gem while trying to escape the bustle of Oxford Street and was drawn by its bright pink sign and its excellent value lunch time deals.
My favourite dish is the Dol Bibim Bap, a combination of rice, vegetables and strips of beef topped with an egg and served in a hot stone bowl that keeps the food piping hot as you are eating.
To start, I had a very fiery pickled cabbage jelly with thinly sliced cucumber and a generous amount of chillies and spring onions. Fiery is probably an understatement because I was left with a very painful heat in my mouth, which I personally like but it was a bit too overwhelming. The jelly was to perfection, nice and soft with lots of flavour. I also added an extra dish of Kimchi (chilli pickled cabbage), which was dry and packed with far too much chillies. My main was the traditional Korean signiture dish Bibimbap. Bibimbap is served in a hot stone bowl with white rice toped with sauteed and seasoned vegetables and gocujan (chilli pepper paste). A raw egg or in some cases a fried egg and minced seasoned raw beef lays on top of the rice and is then mixed together. The heat of the st

Arirang is one of my favourite restaurants. I stumbled upon this little gem while trying to escape the bustle of Oxford Street and was drawn by its bright pink sign and its excellent value lunch time deals. Claiming to be London's first Korean restaurant
Dining at Arirang restaurant was a great experience from start to finish. I was impressed by the warm invitation of the staff.
The staff here were really nice but won’t get full 5 stars for the service as they let me sit and order online with no conversation or asking if everything was ok, etc.
Every dish I tried was a perfect taste and quantity. The flavors were both authentic and exquisite, a true testament to the skill of the chefs. Beautifully presented, the Korean barbecue offered a unique and interactive evening.
The variety of options on the menu ensured that there was something for everyone, from vegetarians to meat lovers. The attention to detail in each dish was evident, and the quality of ingredients was top-notch.
It’s an ideal place for a day time meal, a gathering with friends, or a special celebration, but not really a romantic place. The restaurant’s decor and lighting was a bit dated but still clean and functional.
I would definitely return and savor more of the foods here, especially the spicy mushrooms, yum!.
Tasty Korean food in central London. Great starters, a mixture of kimchi, bean sprouts and pickled cucumber. The Sweet and sour chicken was my favourite.First time I have had to cook my beef bulgogi but it was very good. Great place to go if you want to try Korean for the first time.
Amazing place for very authentic Korean food. I also see Koreans dining here as well.
The food is always flavourful and does not take too long to arrive. You might have a flag down the server if you sit further inside the restaurant but as it common with many other Asian places. The fried chicken and the seafood pancakes are a must try. If you like soup, their seafood chigae is amazing!
For the hotstone bibimbap, you have to add sauce and stir the ingredients together quickly, otherwise they might burn.
Totally satisfied my Korean cold noodle craving in London! I got the non spicy and the noodles, broth, pear and pickles were amazing. Beef was a bit tough. I asked for mustard and vinegar because I like my broth punchy. Will come back to try the spicy cold noodles. The seafood pancake was also really good even though the plating wasn’t very nice. Crispy on the outside and soft in the inside.
This place had such a homely feel! The servers were warm and welcoming. They even gave us some complimentary banchan!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Very authentic Korean food with great value for money.

recently came here for a bday meal with friends and the staff were really friendly and attentive!
the bbq meat is good quality and delicious, so are other dishes such a Kimchi pancake and vegetable sides.
the vibe is quite homey and quiet which is great for an intimate meal with friends n family
as a hard to please foodie this place definitely checks all the boxes and ill be coming back again
Authentic tasty food! Highly recommended. Was really hard to find fine korean restaurant. Love it!
Wow, we were so surprised how good this Korean food was. Our only issue was ordering through our phone. But again, my Korean partner and I were grateful to have a real Korean meal here.
First time at this restaurant, great food fantastic staff, good atmosphere, reasonably priced, would definitely go again. Highly recommended.
Food arrived very quickly and was tasty, we ordered the Dak Galbi, japchae, kimchi. Service was quick as you order on your phone. However, the atmosphere was not very pleasant, there was no music and the chairs were quite old and the place was not decorated well. Overall the food was good but the decor and furniture could be updated.
A down to earth Korean Restaurant.
Apparently the first Korean restaurant in London. It's been open about 1975.
We had the normal menu and shared Korean Fried Chicken and Sweet and Sour King Prawns, Chicken Teriyaki, and Salmon Teriyaki.
All excellent
Definitely recommend.
I like the platter of BBQ seafood - good proportion and the marinated sauce was tasty. The chicken is grilled tenderly and wonderful. The soup was delicious, and the complimentary fruit (on the house) was a generous plus.
The only thing I feel a pity is that I can’t find any sign of wifi password, and it’s annoying since you need internet to order food (scanning the QR code).
잡채 and 돌비 is my favourite!!!😍😍I’ve been here for years, Arirang is always my primary choice for Korean food👍🥰
Wonderful ambiance, food and service ! Took the girls for a day out and this was the popular choice. We tried the Korean BBQ and the server grilled it for us. Meat was fresh and loved the marinade flavours. Bit pricey overall but still recommended if you are looking for an authentic Korean experience in the city.
Personally believe the best Korean BBQ in London. Lovely family friendly atmosphere, spacious room for tables(compared to others), and most importantly the service for BBQ. The portion is also good
Great food and friendly staff that will cook your food in front of you. Nice fruit given to you after you finish your meal. Very chill and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the set meals as the dak bokkeum is to die for. Only criticism is that leg space can be tight sometimes due to the grills being built into the tables.
Restaurant takes booking which is great.
Went there for Sun lunch. Not many people so food tends to be served quite quickly.
Ordered a seafood/beef fried udon and a beef bibimbap. Loved the bibimbap as they will give you the sauce to mix yourself rather than mixing it for you (which sometimes can get quite spicy if they do that for you!)
The stone bowl is hot and keeps the food in a good condition. Its quite hot that the rice at the bottom of the bowl ended up getting a "cracker" like texture which I absolutely loved it (if you are not a big fan of this texture of rice would recommend you to keep mixing and stirring when you eat it)
One star taken off for the shrimps within the udon is not peeled. Its hard to peel the shell off given the size of the shrimp and its very soft so ended up not eating much of the shrimp after the peel...
Amazing staff, super friendly and wonderful service. The food was delicious I just wish we had been able to do the KBBQ ourselves so we could’ve kept the 삼겹살 hotter and crispier! Absolutely loved it though. 정말 감사합니다 아리랑식당!
