A nice and small place serving ready to eat indian/pakistani food. Good for take aways and if you are alone you can grab a seat for a quick meal. The food is mostly ready at the hot counter. Have tried quite a few dishes and all are very good. The tandoori chicken, kheema, bhuna with rice and seekh kabab are all nice and tasty. The portion sizes are good and pricing is quite decent. The gentlemen usually at the counter who I believe owns the place is quite humble and accommodating.

delicious Pakistani food at super affordable price. loved the flavors. The seekh kabab is jaw dropping good! it's juicy, spicy, tender and extremely amazing. The seekh kabab wrap from here rocked my world! you gotta try this place, they have so much variety in terms of dishes and all are authentic Pakistani dishes. Much love! 😘
I am from New Delhi India staying at Kensington and really missing the Indian cuisine and taste but Star Kabab came to my rescue... I tried Chicken Biryani and it's really good same is the feedback for few other curries. So If you are staying near to Earl's court give a visit atleast once. Staff is friendly and you can have a meal in about £10.
The curries are delicious and staffs are friendly. I leave in East London but I go there to eat, so you can imagine how mouth-watering the food is! I have seen a customer he comes from shenfield to eat. I just want to say…….the restaurant size is small but it is full of delicious food.
One of the best doners in London.. Tried almost everything on the menu and it tasted amazing.. Next trip to London and Star Kebab is definitely on my list.. Cheers
This place is a must visit!!! Loved their food...refreshing and sense awakening curries and doner kebabs. Absolute yumm!! Its a small, simple food joint that opened up 42 years back. If anyone is interested in a budget, mouthwatering desi cuisine, star kebab house is the place to go.
My favorite in London!. Star Kebab is just a kebab shop in London. But it's the best I've found there in several trips. The food tastes fresh and delicious (no old oil or obviously frozen samosas). It's cheap, too: you can get more food than a person can eat for £10. It's also open until very late (5am on Saturday and Sunday), so it's always there when you get the munchies.
I think it says a lot that, one the trip where I discovered Star Kebab, my GF and I ate there 3-4 times. And, on a subsequent trip, we took the tube from Marleybone to Earl's Court to eat there 3-4 more times.
Amusing side story: I went there one night after hitting the pub. i asked for their spiciest curry; the guy behind the counter seemed reluctant, and asked me several times if I was sure. I said I was. Back in our hotel room, I took a bite, and OMG it was the spiciest thing I ever ate! I'm surprised that the curry didn't burn through the Styrofoam container! It was THAT hot!
The food is delicious and the pricing is immensely pocket friendly as well. The dishes are well cooked, fresh and extremely flavorsome. On another upside, the place is open till late as long as 5 am in the morning. I am extremely fond of their kebabs, they are delectable and a dish that gives you cravings! Way to go!
Star Kebabs not only has incredible food but the service and kindness of the team is absolutely impeccable. Whenever I eat here my day is made. If you are thinking about dining here or getting take out, this is the place to go! I highly recommend with all of my being. 🙏🏽

They have nice welcoming yellow comfy tables nowadays and cushioned chairs instead of the barstools I remember.
The Kerahi Chicken (mild, medium & hot: I chose mild) is very nice. Tastes the same as I remember trying it back in the 1990s. Am missing the okra dish, which is not available anymore.
I usually get the chickpea & potato curry (prefer the meat dishes), minced beef & potato curry (tried again and is very nice indeed). Not too over-chillied-machoed.
I enjoyed this place, kebab was made with good quality tortilla(or some kind of bread idk), meat was good, maybe sauces might be better mixed for more taste fulfilment and I think they should pour it out little bit more. The kebab man was very helpful and kind. When you sit inside the interior seems cozy and well arranged. The prices are also very good. And the chips, aa these were one of the best fast food chips i have ever eaten

I finished the gym really late, like 3am. I was wandering the street looking for a meal and tried to open the door. Star Kebab was already closed and locked up, but the employee kindly opened the food and asked if I needed food. I said yes and he took my order and made sure I didn’t starve before he went home. Not on his watch. Thank you so much, you made sure I didn’t sleep hungry last night.

Stopped in for a late night dinner after seeing a nighttime show. I love kebab places and this one didn’t disappoint! Yeah it’s a dive but dives make killer food sometimes!
Get the chili garlic sauce, you won’t be disappointed! I got it on my chicken pita and it was scrumptious! Tons of chicken, tons of slaw / cabbage and the bread was great. It was a very large portion for £7. I didn’t think I was going to finish it when I picked it up and felt how big it was. One bite of that chili garlic though, and I knew I could do it. 🤣
My friend got some naan bread and I wished I had bought myself some for later because it was killer! Drinks were good priced as well.
Staff was so friendly, and smiling. Very kind and helpful. Definitely give them a shot!
All time favourite Indian take away. They now accept card payments. I've been having star kebabs for almost 20 years. They never fail to disappoint. Food is on point. The spice level is fantastic. They are open till very late 7 days a week.
Ohh food was so tasty, meet with chef later. He is old man, expierenced many years. He knows how to cook.
Popped in from a night out at football and a few beers, was staying down the road and needed some food so tried this spot.
Lovely smell hits you as the door opens. Great selection of food and all cooked in front of you.

The stuffed Tandoori naan with beef doner is the best doner I've ever had in my life!! Worth every penny.
Having left London... I miss this place a lot.
Excellent food at cheap prices. It may be a stand up joint, but the food is great! Most importantly the boss is very friendly. He makes an effort to follow up, to check if you're enjoying your food. Well done, Star Kebab!
