French patisseries are a common sight in London. Many of the top names now have establishments dotted around the capital like vanilla seeds in a creme patissiere. Laduree is one such luxury boutique just inside Burlington Arcade in plush Piccadilly. The window display here is enough to entice any owner of a sweet tooth through the door. Beautiful works of edible art are lined up with precision – these include Choux Buns, Macarons, Saint-Honore’s and Eclairs amongst others.
A place that provides great food and leaves you content and glad! A place which has luxurious taste and quality of a true legacy! Recently opened, the place has some teething problems at launch but if the target quality is that of the Harrods flagship restaurant. however, it is promising, taking a party for lunch there in a couple of weeks! Deserves a visit!
I can't believe I missed these delicious macaroons at Piccadilly! They are so soft - how they're supposed to be - that they almost melt in one's mouth. Easily the best in London.
Laduree's macaroons are world renowned and this store is just as pretty as its macaroons!
These are always a worthy and delectable treat and is definitely worth a stop if your in the area!
The best macaroons full stop! The choice of flavours is amazing and the mint, salted caramel, rose and coffee are favourites for me. Expensive but definitely worth it.
We each chose three flavours—I got caramel with salted butter (the best one; the caramel was not sickly sweet and sticky and the salt was a nice touch), raspberry, and red fruits (lots of filling, and since macarons are sold by weight, I ended up paying m
I'm an absolute sucker for macaroons so at every available opportunity I will treat myself.
Ladurée is notorious for their macaroons and its not hard to see why. A small café reasonable beverage prices and of course an array of flavours to choose from.
With my beverage I opted to try a macaroon tartlet which had raspberries sandwiched in between absolutely delectable! Service is a little slow as it is a tiny cafe but all in all good.
I managed to take a box home (for tea later) flavours included rose, salted caramel, pineapple, rum vanilla, vanilla, chocolate banana and strawberry marshmallow (my favourite)!!! The rum was quite pungent giving it a nice kick and the pineapple was indeed a pleasant surprise.
Would definitely return to take away as opposed to eating in.
This is a tiny Laduree but very cute if you can go when the arcade isn't too crowded. Coffee is strong but not tart, and obviously, the macaroons are fantastic. Mint and Pistachio are the very best!
went to laduree in the june and i absolutely loved it, the macaroons were soft and packed with flavour. it was like a firework in my mouth, the raspberry, chocolate, vanilla and elderflower were absolutely mouth watering would go this outlet again and again since i love macaroons, the only place were i think you can find better macaroons is PAUL i do not know whether there is a pauls outlet in london or not but there is one in dubai and singapore.
lovely macaroons and beautiful location would suggest this to people of all ages from 3 to 73...
Very cute terrace which is only on till the 24th September!
Go for the really tasty soft serve as the ice cream pots are pre made.
Also there was not enough flavour from the lemon and chocolate toppings.
Good quality Macaroons, was quite small in the shop not much movement, however, the quality of the product is a good as the one we had visited in Paris, it’s a good treat, there are also a few chairs and tables out the front to sit down and take the weight off your feet.
One of the best macaroons in London, expensive but very delicious worth to try. They have lots of flavours more and than other places sales macaroons. The chocolates dipping one is so good and must to try for chocolate lovers. The place itself is very nice and staff are nice and friendly.
This is the first time I’ve had Ladurée macarons and I understand why they are so delicious and popular! The shop is very posh with gold leaf everywhere and the lady was very helpful and packaged them up well to fly with them. Overall a really great experience but one thing is that you pay for it. A box of 18 macarons came to £41, definitely a treat if you feel like it!
Iconic macaron spot in Burlington Arcade. The small shop serves up delicious macarons and other sweet treats. Worth a stop if you fancy a little treat.
Great mix of flavours, friendly staff, beautiful store, only downside is the price
This is a very small shop in Burlington arcade, London. The shop decor is bright gold and a bit overwhelming. The staff are polite and helpful. The a macaroons they sell are the best in the world. They are SO tasty. Pricey at £2 each but well worth it.
THE best macarons money can buy! I've tried many different places for macarons but always come back to La Duree - they are heavenly delicious. This particular shop is especially nice with its golden decoration.
One of my favorite pastry shop! I had to stop in after my high tea! The macaroons were delicious as usual!
A great selection of macarons at the top-end of the price range.
They are undoubtedly expensive, but I believe they are worth spending on and having an experience with.
There is a great range of flavours and I would recommend trying something which you wouldn't normally.
The chocolate dipped ones are slightly different from macarons and are more biscuity but are wonderfully delicious and some of the best things they sell.
The vanilla (a flavour I think is the benchmark to do well) is a little bit underwhelming but there is a lot to try here.
They are very rich and sweet so don't expect to eat more than a few in one sitting.
The boxing is very nice and it is overpriced but it is an experience and a nice treat or gift.
Don't neglect their other cakes and pastries, especially the tarts, which are wonderful.
The best macarons and pistachio dessert. Very unique gold shop, Thankyou to the lovely ladies who served us
Amazing. One of the best macarons I ever had. Filling was so tasty and fresh
I haven't had many macarons in my life but I have to say that these were delicious! The basic flavors were however better than the more unusual ones, at least in my opinion. Definitely worth a stop if you love sweets!
See the images below. Coronavirus or not. The food/ice-creams/macaroons are seriously good. In coronavirus, you can’t go in the shop; you have to pick outside. The shop is way too small.
