Absolutely wonderful little gem of a place. Food was truly tasty, keep having flashbacks of how yummy! We went for a group taster menu to sample a selection of the menu and it was just devine: the smell, the taste, the flavour. Staff so welcoming and friendly. Definitely going to go back again. Excellent all round Via Emelia!

Outstandingly delicious food served with a lovely smile. Very authentic and original place! The stuff are very helpful and explain properly where everything comes from right from the start. Absolutely utterly loved, so I totally recommend

A must restaurant when in London! especially coming from the same region and having the opportunity to taste the same quality of this delicious food also in England. Il Gnocco Fritto top!

Amazing food. A small, regionally focussed menu - a kitchen that clearly takes pride in its craft. Every item we ate was a gem.

I was amazed when I have read about an Emilian restaurant in London. And it was true. You can find here all the authentic specialties from my city(Bologna) and also from all the Emilian region! I tried also the Tortellini in brodo and they were incredibly tastyyy and home made prepared. Also the gnocco fritto was super good, as the salumi choices. Super recommended!! A piece of Emilia-Romagna in London!!

The food is amazing. Only fresh products. We highly recommend the fried bread with the cheese selection as a starter! The staff is so kind. We felt very welcomed. The room is small so it gets a bit noisy. But it is still very worth it! Thank you!

Wonderful restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. One of the best italian restaurants that I ever been in London. Loved the idea of sharing the plates, so you can try different pastas. You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients, really outstanding. The restaurant is not that big, so is better to book a table. Nice atmosphere, liked the background music although it was a little bit loud. The staff were very attentive. Highly recommended!

I think the food itself is really great, the only issue we had was that all food (starter & main) came at the same time. We decided to share three pasta’s (as recommended) and the gnocco fritto. Having so many things come at once left very little space on the table and by the time we got to our last dish it was already lukewarm/cold.

Authentic Italian restaurant that serves really amazing food. I tried many Italian restaurants but they are adapted to UK and often menu is large with few non authentic Italian dishes. This is not the case, their menu is very simple and 100% authentic food. Everything is made as you order so the food is fresh and their homemade pasta is served at perfection

Went there on a Monday evening which was really relaxed, not too busy, nice atmosphere, very friendly and polite waiters, and the food was great! It was nice to be able to share the plates with a friend. I had the tortellini in broth and that was very good, not your usual pasta! I only put a 4 though for the food as I think the chef has been too generous on the salt, but it was still nice! Will definitely come back to try other types of pastas! Also very reasonably priced which is always a nice surprise with the inflation! Please don't change that!

I have been here over lunch with my team. The place is cute and cozy. There weren't many people so it was easy to find a place where to sit. We ordered two gnocchi fritti and 2 plates of Mortadella as antipasti which were just perfect. First dishes were also outstanding. Portions are a bit small so follow the suggestion of the menu which advises to take 3 pasta dishes for 2 people. The background music a bit loud.

Staff are very friendly, funny and attentive. The food is unlike any pasta you would've had before in London. We've been there twice now and can't wait to return again. The only downside is how close all of the tables are to each other, so it's quite intimidating and loud.

The food was really good and so was the service. The prices are fair and they do good gluten free pasta also. The naturally effervescent Prosecco is lovely too! The Gnocchi Fritto has an unreal texture also - not like anything I have had before.

Truly wonderful pasta sharing dishes. I don’t think I’ve had better pasta in, or outside Italy, frankly. I could have come back here for dinner quite happily and continued working my way through the menu. We had three dishes between two of us and this was more than ample - we waddled out into the cold London air afterwards with a spring in our step. Definitely a place that I will be returning to but I hope they will have fixed their door when I do!

Via Emilia is lovely italian restaurant that specialises in pasta local to Modena/bologna region of Italy 🇮🇹 . The dishes are pasta based with some antipasti options of cured meats and bread. Pasta was something special not your everyday Italian pasta dishes you would find easily In London. Each pasta is served in a moderate size plate , cooked to perfection and balanced. The venue is very nice with a great selection of wine 🍷 though i would say try the lambrusco. Overall really enjoyed the food and experiencing something different. Such as the butternut squash ravioli, Gnocco Fritton bread and the chicken broth tortellini.

Stumbled upon this place by happy chance. Delicious small pasta plates ideal to share, with very distinct flavours. The Ravenna was especially excellent - simple ingredients done brilliantly. The venue is a bit small and so gets pretty loud, and you'd best book to be seated.
