Great introduction to Uzbek food. All freshly made and staff so welcoming. Price pretty decent for London - do call and order before you get there as they cook everything from scratch. Not really suited for vegetarians. Will definitely come back

Delicious food, super friendly service and all round great place to eat. A little bit hidden inside the market but aren't hidden gems the best? Will definitely be back!

Delicious and really friendly staff. We tried most things on the menu, and the plov and olivye salad were the particular highlights. I only hope they can find a bigger space!

I’m a big fan of Uzbek food so got very excited when I discovered the location of this restaurant. First thing I’ll say is that the guy serving and hosting was absolutely adorable, charming and super helpful and hard working. Onto the food, I enjoyed it very much: we shared plov (traditional rice, carrots and lamb), manti (extra big dumplings) and somsa (which are made fresh and take 30min). Everything tasted good. The restaurant is a small corner inside Queensway market, it’s nicely decorated, feels authentic when the staff greets you with “Assalomu alaykum” and then speaks Russian haha. We paid 42£ for two which was fair. There are only 7-8 tables so I recommend you book as it was full by the time we left.

Amazing little oasis of Uzbekistan in London. Authentic, freshly made and incredibly delicious dishes, we enjoyed the food very much! Manty is a rare delicacy to get, highly recommend trying them out! Plov was also very good, tastes just like in Uzbekistan. Such a friendly, cheerful and kind owner, we felt very welcome there.

Went here for the first time after some friends recommended it. First time having Uzbek food too! The service from Hikmat was incredible! He was so friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome as if we were in his home. The food was amazing too, very flavourful and good portions, with information on the menu to explain the dish and where it is from/inspired by. Can't wait to go back next time and try the soups and other mains! Definitely try this place out if you're nearby!

I recently returned from Uzbekistan, enjoyed the food journey and even experienced a plov makin. I didn't anticipate finding such authentic Uzbek food outside of the country, but I did try the plov at a food stall in London and it was exceptional. Naturally, I was eagerly looking forward to trying more dishes at this particular restaurant. Unfortunately, they had run out of samosas, but overall, the selection of dishes (including manti, soup, and salad) was good, albeit limited. However, I was quite disappointed that every dish was generously sprinkled with dill instead of the coriander that is typically used in authentic Uzbek cuisine. Considering the abundance of coriander in London, I couldn't understand why dill was used so generously. It significantly affected the taste and left us feeling overwhelmed with dill flavors. Dill works better with lighter dishes like fish and pastries, it didn't complement the meat dishes and made the experience less authentic. Uzbek plov, the shredded barbecued or fried meat is usually what sets it apart, so I was let down to find that the plov here had chunky meat pieces instead. All in all, I would rate this place a 6 out of 10. However, I would be willing to give it another chance, considering we visited on a busy bank holiday.

It’s my second time here. A little bit tricky to find it. Very hidden inside of the market. If you are craving for meat and carbs, definitely an Affordable place to go.

/ Manti. Traditional Uzbek dumplings, must try! This time the filling is a little bit salty though.
/ Mastava. Uzbek soups with fried pieces beef and vegetables. Comfy food for me.
/ Somsa. Need to wait for 30min. Hot and crispy with beef fillings.
/ Borsh. Traditional Ukrainien beetroot soup with lamp meat. Most of the dishes serve with sour cream. Will visit it again.
