The location is great if you’re exploring around Leicester Square. Food was good and we were served quickly. Staff were very friendly. We had the Nduja burger, Steak, and Fish & Chips. We were happy with all of our meals.
Located next to the Garrick theatre, forest green walls, nice lighting and lovely, friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly. Service at the bar was excellent. Comfy seating. Really enjoyed my visit here. Thank you.
Well, we decided to head down to Garrick Arms, situated in the bustling hub of Covent Garden. Not your everyday boozer, it’s got a certain charm that immediately grabs you as you walk through the doors.
When it comes to the drinks, I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for a tequila and I was well chuffed to find they had Patron. Margaritas aren't exactly ten a penny in this city, so I settled for a tequila and lemonade that did the job just fine. My pal opted for the rosé wine - nice drop it was.
For a bit of grub, we both fancied the loaded fries. I went for the pulled pork and my mate opted for the pink garlic. They were pretty decent, but a minor hiccup when my chips came without the chives listed on the menu. Not the end of the world though, they still tasted okay. The pulled pork fries, though? Absolutely banging, can't knock them at all.
But let's talk about the staff – top drawer. They were well friendly, guiding us through the drinks menu and food options. When it looked like we were about to lose our table to a reservation, they were swift and efficient in sorting us out another spot. Absolutely sterling service.
Now onto the décor, and that's where Garrick Arms really shines. It’s got that classic British pub feel, replete with warm, inviting panelled walls that make you feel like you're in the cosy living room of a stately home rather than a bustling London boozer. The woodwork is just stunning, with intricate detailing that speaks of a time gone by. It's the sort of place that just oozes character, every nook and cranny telling a story. There's something really authentic about the place, a sense of history that just adds to the overall experience.
All in all, the Garrick Arms is more than just a pit-stop for a swift half. It's got the whole package - good drinks, decent food (even if they did forget my chives), top-notch service and an atmosphere that’s hard to beat. I’d be well up for another visit next time I fancy a proper British pub experience in the heart of the city.
This is probably the best classic pub in Leicester Square, food is so delicious, so many choices with reasonable price. The staffs are professional and super friendly, especially Amina and Simone. I highly recommend this pub if you ever want to have a drink in central London.
Beautiful pub amazing location… the food was delicious…home brewing Pie…cold and fruity… service friendly professional loved it‼️‼️🥰💯😎🍺🍺
This is the best classic pub in the Leicester Square area. Good menu, brilliant burgers, and Amina looked after us so well. Would recommend the Nduja dirty Burger and the Unruly Burger, Amina also helped with substitutions and checked allergens which made us feel very well looked after. See you again soon!

Went for a few drinks whilst we wait for a restaurant. It had good selection of beers although only one ale greenking. I’m told the gin and tonics were spot on and they had a decent selection. The food did look very good but we didn’t eat so can’t comment although I might come back just to try the southern fried fish and chips which looked amazing
The Garrick Arms Pub boasts a prime location for city explorers. The food arrived promptly, and the staff's warm eco friendly atmosphere added to the experience. Our choices: the chicken burger and Fish & Chips, all exceeded expectations, leaving us thoroughly pleased. A fantastic dining destination for anyone looking to savor great food in a central spot.

Brilliant atmosphere and speedy service. A great place for a pint or cocktail, and good value for money. Really groovy music too, which was an added bonus!
Really nice Pub, staff were very helpful and had such a great energy. Unfortunately, due to changes going on with the menu, there weren't any gluten-free food options other than chips. I really appreciated the staff trying to work something out. Unfortunately, it just wasn't possible for what was available on the day.
For a place set off Leicester Square in the middle of tourist season, it's always surprisingly easy both to get served at the Garrick, and find somewhere to sit. The staff are fantastic: friendly and super-efficient, and they never forget a face. The choice of drinks is great, and the food is very tasty and very good value. If you're looking for somewhere to meet before a night in the West End, or after a day at work in central London, this pub is always just the ticket.
Booked the day before walked in fantastic bar service highly recommend the steak and ale pie definitely recommend the food and place.
Great inclusive pub in Central London with the friendliest staff and the most charismatic manager. We tried the fish n chips and Chicken and halloumi tray, both of which were brilliant and had good portions for what we paid. Will be visiting again soon! Special thanks to Anil and Amina for the speedy service and making our visit a memorable one 😁
GREAT! We were very well received, the place is cozy, the food plentiful and wonderful. I strongly recommend!
