This place is BAWLIN'. Their pizza be like nothing you ever SEEN. I had one and I was like "WHAAAAT!! This is some seriously delicious pizza!!"
'The pizzas are incredible.' Everything else about this pub is just a footnote -
Brilliant little dartboard presided over by a huge Hieronymus Bosch painting. A (surprisingly) decent taste in music. Will definitely be a decent beer to satisfy you. Rekorderlig on tap for the girls.
It's not regular-boozer material, but it's well well worth getting The Tastiest Pizza In Borough* if you're in the area.
*subject to me trying more pizzas in Borough
Great pub with a lovely atmosphere. Pizzas are great and lovely Hieronymus Bosch mural. Son and daughter of the management (I think) combo were absolutely brilliant service behind the bar.
Very friendly staff, nice well-lit interior, reasonably priced drinks (£5.40 for Heineken, £4.50 for a pint of ale, £5 for medium red red wine). The pizzas were also surprisingly nice and I'd defintely return for them. Also a great price at £8 for a margherita. Great soundtrack and atmosphere too. Can't fault it!
Lovely pint of Hardy's and a great pizza. Great service as well despite being a bit short staffed. Couldn't ask for more tbh
Meandering to somewhere else and stopped here for a drink. Really liked it. You know when you walk in a "local" and everyone stares? Well this is the total opposite welcoming, Really friendly staff and very clean.
What lovely people running the Libertine! A great little pub on the south of Borough. Decked out with holly and all other things Christmas. Great selection of beers both cask and keg. Darts clearly catered for. The place looks good and the beer, same, tastes good too! Have an adventure and visit "The Libertine" enjoy.
Good neighbourhood pub with surprisingly good pizza. They have a cocktail menu but I recommend sticking to beer, I ordered an old fashioned and seemed like I was the first ever to do so!
Great place for after work social. A couple real ales on tap. You can reserve tables if you desire.
Diving into the first pub I came to, to shelter from the rain I found myself in this wonderful oasis. Excellent beer, perfect pizza, plump olives, 60s classics and lovely, friendly bar staff all in a very attractive pub. The Libertine is a boozer I shall definitely return to. Absolutely wonderful. As for the music, for someone about to turn 70, it was the music of my formative years. Fabulous
Great pub.. With great staff... Most tables booked in the evening due to space so book early
Good pizza, good beer selection and a lunch option for a quick bite. Food arrived quickly and was really delicious. I'm sure I'll be coming back again.
