Came here for the first time and I was very impressed with my order. Tried pounded yam with okra soup and I tell you what I was slumped afterwards. It was really filling and by the end I was licking the bowl clean. Very serious flavours in that one. The assorted meat was a bit tough and hard to chew. The service was a bit slow. Tried to order through the website but it just wasn't selecting the dish I wanted. Overall, a good experience to try some Nigerian food. I think I'll definitely choose pounded yam over fufu any day.
The food is very good, but the waiting time is forever. Also atmosphere is a bit too noisy.
Despite the fact that restaurant was busy we managed to get a table as walk in customers.
It was my first time trying Nigerian cuisine. I am impressed with flavours, big portions and quality of food. I was a bit worried that I will not be able to manage spiciness of dishes, however I did (and I am not a big fan of spicy foods š).
Rating 4 stars because place was not clean enough, there were food pieces on the floor under some tables and we had to wait for food for a long time. But it was worth the wait end of the day.
Recommending this place to those who are after new experiences, flavours and open to new cuisines.
The food was lovely and didnāt wait too long for our food.
It is a nice place, polite staff but the food took a very long time to be delivered. The food was hot and tasty. There is construction work going on in front of the store. There is a need for a barricade between customers because nobody wants to be looking at what another person is eating. The staff are very hardworking and polite but you need more staff serving customers.
Thank you
This was my first experience trying this cuisine. And I must say it was amazing, the goat meat dishes are filling and so flavourful. The spice level was just perfect for me with lots of tomatoes and peppers coming through well. And the team was very helpful with choosing our mains.
Food was great, felt like something I made from my kitchen, however services took forever. For the food I would give *10, the service is *2.i know every business is trying their hardest, however my scores are based off of a pattern...and it's a reoccurring thing in most of not all Nigerian restaurants.
Server appear to be extremely tired š«. Was served by Tosin, she deserves a *5.
The food was fantastic and Tosin our waiter was so nice and professional. I will be eating here again.
Booked a dinner, place is smaller than expected, entry door needs a sign of the restaurant and to say push, it is a heavy door, table was reserved even though close to door. We were able to order cocktails without certain ingredients šš¾Lamb suya is a joke, seriously don't order it, tiny bits of lamb. Edikikong was tasteless, grilled tilapia and fried yam was good and so was the yam porridge. Service from Yemi was great. Parking is an issue.
Nathaniel And Tosin served us well at Enish tonight with a warm smile, attended to us well and was a nice treat. Was a nice place to chill and finished the meal. Check the attached photos for confirmation, Follow me on Instagram for more Reviews of restaurants and Best choices @inlaw_dmw
I booked Enish Finchley to celebrate my motherās 50th birthday and it was fantastic to say the least! The restaurant manager was very polite, friendly and informative, as well as the staff.
There was smooth line of communication leading up to the event. I was able to bring in a decorator and there was an allocated DJ for the Friday. Seeing as I had a big group attending, we had the buffet option. The food was well cooked and when it finished, it was refilled on instructions .
My guests were happy with the service and my mum really enjoyed herself. I will definitely be returning!
An inviting location to savour the delights of Nigerian cuisine. I certainly enjoyed a delightful dining experience and a comfortable stay. The soothing background music evoked nostalgia, while having Palm Wine and Nigerian Guinness was a definite highlight accompanied by nice home-prepared yam and grilled fish. I highly recommend a visit to this charming palace.
My first time at Enish was really pleasant. Ordered the egussi soup with beef and pounded yam and it did not disappoint!! The portion was generous with just the right amount of spiceā¦so tasty and I loved using my hand to eat this traditional dish. Loved that there was a cute hand was sink for patronsā convenience. Had the champ mocktail which was also a generous serving of refreshing fruity flavours. Our time was made special by the very friendly and attentive Carina! Will definitely return to try moin moon and fishā¦.. mmmm! Thank you
We were a walk in and waited to be seated for at least 5mins, no-one greeted us even the male server who was at the front, and there were two male server walking to and from. There was a couple just near the front who was also looking around waiting to have there order taken. Eventually a lady came from the bar and took us to our table.
This was our first dine in experience. We looked at the menu and ordered in 15mins.
We waited about 40mins for before all the food came out. We weren't told there would be a long wait and no-one came to check on us. There were two other tables also looking around.even the call bell didn't suffice.
Tilapia pepper soup was amazing and definitely should be more main due to its size and probably price.
We ordered two main jollof meal and it's huge. This is by far the best jollof rice I've had, maybe it was the dine in rather than take away that made it taste good, and in that instant I forgot about how long we waited. Good presentation with a small salad and chopped up plantain.
Overall the ambient and service was ok but the food was delicious. I'll just stick with take away.
Attended Enish Finchley Road today. Food was delicious, hot and tasty. Food delivered untime and the service was great. Thank you, definitely returning back!
