The Phene is a classy, stylish pub with a lovely beer garden. The staff are very polite and very friendly. Customer service was top notch from all the staff we dealt with and one staff member actually went above and beyond the call of duty which was very impressive. Did not eat, so can't comment on the food, but excellent experience and would highly recommend.

We booked out a room for private hire for a small gathering of 20 on my birthday and the staff were extremely accommodating, relaxed and attentive! It was literally like having your own luxury living room with a dinner table and screen and great catering. Would highly recommend it!

Had an absolutely fantastic meal here last night with a few friends for my birthday. It was vegan week, and although half the people attending ate meat, they all thoroughly enjoyed their dinner choices. Great service from very friendly staff, and excellent food.

Really nice place to have brunch in Chelsea if your friends are vegetarian and you're not.The menu gives options for meat lovers and vegetarians. Service was a bit slow due to two big parties but the team was really nice and friendly and the food was great. There is also fake snow in the garden to keep you entertained while you wait.
The pub is kids friendly on the weekend.

The other day we ended in The Phene, a lovely venue in Chelsea with multiple spaces, including a pub style bar, a nice conservatory dinning room, a private dinner first floor space, and finally an amazing beer garden.

A beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting. I recently came here for a very long brunch and the food was lovely as was the wine and the service! We sat out in the garden in the dappled shade for hours and the service was so attentive - and probably the reason why we racked up a huge bill haha!
Definitely recommend, not for your everyday meal, something special!

As a devoted East Londoner, it's not often I find myself on the other side of town, but I was cordially invited over to Chelsea for a friend's 30th, so it was a District Line across town for me.

The Phene is a lovely, welcoming, cosy pub.  Very close to the Kings Road, but far away enough to be off the main drag, when I arrived on a Saturday lunchtime the place was buzzing, with a mixed clientile of families, couples, glamazons and friends.  I ordered a G&T (hurrah for Sipsmith & Fever Tree - two of the hallmarks of a pub that knows its gin!) and awaited my friends.

The restaurant looked lovely, but we dined upstairs in the private room, which was ideal for our party of twenty.  We were greeted with glasses of fizz and then whiled away the afternoon enjoying a three course meal full of flavoursome, tasty food.

I'd recommend The Phene to anyone in the area for drinks or a meal - lovely place!

The restaurant its self was very cute and cosy. There was a bar and dining section. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Beside the great ambiance, the food and drinks were very reasonable. Although my order was overlooked, the experience outweighed the food.

This is a cute little eatery, tucked away from the King's Road, but most definitely a Chelsea baby. It's a glamorous pub with an outdoor seating area for the brave smokers, a backroom for diners, and an upstairs for parties or those after privacy. The ambience is fairly relaxed; a pub-style setting with several tables around the bar, and the dining areas tucked away from immediate view. It's a very versatile location, ideal for those dates which can be drinks and nibbles, or even spill over into a three course meal.Pick from a range of beers, some interesting cocktail inventions, or just go straight for the fizzy; I was pleasantly surprised to see Mumm, a champagne I find to be relatively hard to come by in pubs and bars these days.We accompanied our bubbles with one of their sharing boards; an extensive array of veggie-related deliciousness; the broccoli was perfectly done and wonderfully seasoned- not a soggy tree in sight!- whilst the polenta was absolutely delicious. After getting to a suitably tipsy level for a Tuesday night, we wandered into the restaurant area, impressed with the level of busyness for such an early day in the week. After our nibbles, I wasn't ravenous, so chose a 'small plate', as opposed to a main. The menu offers relatively standard comfort food dishes, including a selection of burgers, mac&cheese, fish and meats. There is however, another 'light bite/superfood' section, which offers the likes of seafood stew and sticky a lean thai green curry- dishes to line a stomach rather than fill a belly. The mac and cheese was wonderfully creamy and filled with delicious naughtiness, ideal comfort food for a chilly winter night, whilst the crispy squid was just that; nothing to write home about, really. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly, and the bar man couldn't do more to help us.All in all, an ideal location for a date or informal catch up between old pals looking to share a bottle of the good stuff.

I went here for a friend’s birthday meal. We took a taxi but I probably would not have found it if I was walking as it’s quite hidden.

Staff were extremely friendly and polite. We were seated immediately in a private dining area, as we had booked beforehand. The room itself was very clean and spacious and had bird paintings on the wall, which I thought was a nice touch.

I had the chicken schnitzel with mash, mushrooms and paprika sauce and it was perfect. Everything was presented well, the chicken wasn’t dry and the mash was just phenomenal. I would recommend this dish, you wont be disappointed.

The outdoor seating area is very comfortable and has a very nice atmosphere during the evening. It’s perfect in the summer for drinks or dinner. The whole pub is vey clean, the décor is very modern yet makes the area look cosy.

It was slightly expensive, especially when you order a few drinks, however the cocktails were delightful, the place itself has a lovely atmosphere and service is exceptional, so I would definitely recommend this place.

Located in the heart of chelsea, this pub is definitely a hidden gem!

I had my birthday here last year and had the loveliest time. The waiters were extremely friendly and attentive, they greeted us promptly as we entered and was very accommodating throughout our entire meal, even giving our entire table complimentary Bellinis and desserts! (The vanilla  Panna cotta is to die for)

The food is always of high standards and very reasonably priced. Furthermore they also offer a variety of healthy dishes which I felt is a nice touch for all the healthy food junkies out there!

The place is decorated beautifully with quaint little private rooms avaliable for any kind of social gatherings. They also have a spacious outdoors area that is great for enjoying a drink or two on a warm summers day. The atmosphere is always very relaxed and laid-back, one of those places that is a perfect hang out after a hard days work.

All in all, this is a lovely little pub in a great part of town. A place I would definitely recommend to anyone!

The Phene has been an icon of Chelsea for years. Armed with a reputation for all things trendy and for quality of food, drinks and service, as well as being armed with bouncers on the door for dinner service (!), it sits on an unassuming tree lined residential type street, just off Kings road. Having heard about it repeatedly - and from sources other than Made in Chelsea within which it has featured more than once - I was intrigued to attend, to dine and to see just what all the fuss was about. A friend secured the reservation and off I went, hungry and ready to chow down.

This is a delightful pub in the heart of Chelsea. Clean, tidy and well laid out. The staff gave us a friendly welcome when we arrived even though we hadn't booked. Service to our table was great and the staff appeared to know what they were talking about when they helped us choose a wine. A good choice of beers and wines are available and the garden is lovely. Not the cheapest of pubs, but this is Chelsea. Well worth a visit.

Wow where do i start… The Phene is just phenomenal. The venue was so BEAUTIFUL all my guests were so impressed! I organised a bridal shower and we had 27 guests, it was the perfect size. I was stunned when i walked in, the pictures online dont do it justice (I recommend visiting!) it was a bright summers day and the natural light lit up the beautiful decor. The staff were SO HELPFUL they literally came to my car to help me bring all the decor in the venue. They were so kind and polite. We was allocated to staff members who helped me decorate, serve food and drinks. I couldn't have chosen a better venue. We opted for a 3 course set menu for £40 each - it was well worth it! Food tasted 5* we had no complaints! I definitely will be using The Phene for more future events!

I just came to this pub to a drink but loved this atmosphere and the service. We were delighted to get a table and enjoyed a drink and a chat on a Saturday night. Some people were watching a game but outdoors it was gorgeous and perfect to catch up. Service was amazing as well! Thank you!

Great place! The food was ok, but the pie was cold inside! Maybe because we visited the pub on Sunday evening.

Came here today to watch the England game and had an absolutely great experience. The staff were great and very fast service even during a very busy time. The atmosphere I cannot fault and was great to watch the game. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area if you want to watch football. The restaurant is beautiful inside with great interior decoration and nice bathrooms. The prices for pints I would say are on the expensive side for London but this is the area and this is not a chain pub so it is to be expected. Highly recommend if you are in the area, they appear to do weddings too which is great! Outdoor area looked super nice as well even in the rain. If you liked my review feel free to give it a 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews!

Recommended from a friend, we came here wanting a Sunday roast which did not disappoint. Service was quick and attentive. I ordered the roast pork which was just so delicious, and the setting was just what you’d hope for in a gastro pub.

On another random return, fab!! Kevin is a proper Gent. Food is a very good standard for a "pub". Sunday roast great, not to keen on the skin-on roast potatoes. Don't change what's not broken, just trying to be different!! Will return.

I was on Saturday 20/05 with my wife and it was a fantastic experience! Even without reserving a table, the pub's entourage was super kind and put us at an amazing table in the Garden. The waiting time was short and we sat at the bar on very comfortable stools! The extremely and super polite Hostess, Robert, accommodate us from the Bar to the outside area and served us with great france service skill the entire time! The food is fantastic and the beer was super fresh and deliciously cold!!

It was a real surprise to eat here and be offered a full on vegan menu which was fabulous. We sat in the garden which was surrounded by flowers and low lighting and we enjoyed a delicious rosé accompanied by greet food. The staff were absolutely charming.
