E5 Bakehouse - London - Photo album

One of my favourite bakeries in London! Their croissants are amazing - although they are more dense as if whole-wheat flour was used. Can’t go wrong with any of their baked good. They also make quality coffee and have an incredible back patio and outdoor seating. Highly recommend!
Wow what a great bakery! It does get busy on the weekend and the food does take awhile (30-45 minutes I’d say - but coffee did come after 10-15.. a little slow but..), so I’d recommend getting there around noon or even earlier. That being said, they use very high quality jersey milk for the milky co
One of our favourite bakeries in London! Great atmosphere and big space being located under the viaducts at London Fields. All the goods are baked fresh daily, the butter and pain au chocolat croissants are our go-to. We love sitting on the back patio with a flat white and a croissant. The bakery is
Some of the best sourdough bread and pastries (croissants, black sesame, and vegan cookies are standouts) in London! They mill their own flour and most things are locally sourced and organic! Breakfast and lunch dishes are reliably tasty (FYI bfast ends at 11:30 lunch ends and 3). They also roast th
I ordered bun, which contained caramelised red onion, halloumi, harissa, greens, sunny side up egg. It was quite good. Also had cappuccino; it’s light roasted coffee beans, so it had a slight sour taste.
finally managed to try e5 and was not disappointed! the pumpkin crumble cake was sooo yummy and moist. i had very little expectations for their sourdough roll but even after a few days (toasted!) it was one of the best sourdough i’ve had. chewy and the perfect amount of density on the inside, crispy
A gem of a brunch place. Don't go by the exterior! Inside is a wonderful place full of character, smiles and aroma. Queue up, order your food, take a seat indoors/outdoors and food is served. Great concept! This is why supporting local establishments is a must! Americano coffee with jersey milk
E5 has been my North star in my time living in London. The one thing I can rely on for a good day... the place that reminds me what i love about hackney. It's the one cafe I always feel welcome to sit and work or read. Every food item I've ordered has always left me with a smile, and I didn't know y
A cool place without trying too hard. Coffee was top notch, the blondie was superb and the kimchi and cheese toastie hit the spot. Would love to have been able to buy some of their shop ingredients to take home too
It has Great coffee and a variety of bakery and pastries. Service is A little bit slowed. The place is lovely!
Their Stockholm loaf has become my favourite but next time I see a queue out the door I'll go elsewhere. They really need to separate order in and take away queues.
- dark choc and ginger cookie £2.64 in/ £2.20 out - cappuccino £3.40
Such a lovely brunch spot. Small but delicious menu, great coffee, and plenty of space to enjoy these in the garden when it's warm. It's a bakery so expect top bread, pastries and cakes. Nice and attentive staff. Love it!
My go to place for their porridge sourdough, almond, almond and chocolate croissants! If you haven’t tried them, you are missing out! Plus the amazing butter and great selection of cheeses! So good!
Such a fun find near London Fields! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly - DELICIOUS food. Every single thing we ordered was excellent, with a special mention to the pistachio and apricot frangipane tart. The brunch menu is also great, and the vegan bahn mi hit all the right notes.
Cardamom bun - 4 stars They couldn't warm it up but it was surprisingly not too dry. Strong cardamom flavour. Halloumi and egg - 4 stars I think the harissa sauce settled on one side as I didn't get any but my husband found it spicy. Mushroom and leek - 4 stars Lots of mushroom. Large portion. Not
I went twice to E5 Bakehouse to enjoy a lovely brunch, both times I had full English breakfast. Even though they didn’t have it on the menu the second time the staff were accommodating to make it for me. The ingredients were fresh and I absolutely love their home made tomato chutney sauce, it is min
Excellent food, whatever you order, takeaway or sit-down in the cafe. A regular visit for us in Hackney. Come here every few weeks or so. Really nice place to sit down for a meal. The halloumi bun is superb. Coffee is good. Baked goods all sound. Decent prices, friendly enough service. Lots of tasty
One of the best organic bakeries in London, this bread made of locally grown grain and ground in their own wooden mill is the best bread I have ever had in my long journey through Europe. They also offer locally grown fresh food. The kitchen is open every day and always busy. It is the best place to
