Well I'm a bit biased cos the man in the white coat at the front of the photo is my grandad Antonio di Benedetto. But even so I can remember my dad taking me there after church shopping for the lovely Italian food which is still served there today.

While out for a cycle around London we stopped at this Italian deli and cafe on Clerkenwell for a coffee. It has seating outside as well as a few seats inside with a large open window. I had a cappuccino and aragosta/sfogliatella both of which were great. Apparently this is the oldest Italian deli in London originally opened in 1878

Love it here, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the food is non assuming and tasty, the wine menu is superb and that dolce far niente vibe comes along each time you get a drink here.

What a wonderful cafe, the food is spot on reminds me of Italian home cooking, the food here is amazing just spot on, you want to try everything and it is heavy on the carbs but afterwards you can go for a very long walk. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was delicious, the calzone pizza was very big but the ingredients was again wonderful, we also had a lasagna which was very tasty. The deserts the tiramisu was rich and not too sweet. The ice cream was delicious full on flavours and fresh tasting. The lunch time was busy and we came a bit late and managed to squeeze together. They were busy but they did look after us. Very good prices and they have so many other food stuffs to buy for home, pasta, juices, biscuits. I will go back here anytime. If you found my review helpful please press like. Thank you We went today and the pizza with eggplant I had was delicious and the crab pasta was fresh and tasty. The hazelnut and vanilla ice cream was to die for. The tiramisu was light and easy on the stomach. They were as always very nice and friendly. I always enjoy coming here and food is fast for customers. I highly recommend here. Went today and I got a calzone pizza and they were okay to swap out the chillis with eggplant, it was huge and delicious. My gf pizza was huge and stunning. We shared a pasta which was fresh and the Ragu with meat sauce is delicious. You know it's good when it's packed with Italians bringing their friends here. The gelato was so good, vanilla and hazelnut is my choice. I am never disappointed it's so good here.

Spaghetti bolognese and Margherita, tasted great, spent under £25. Friendly service would highly recommend. Little hidden gem.

The food is absolutely to die for - tried the mushroom tortellini and the cannolis. It gets very busy at lunch time, especially with Italian customers, as space is limited and everything is fresh and traditional. They also sell fresh meat, oil, biscuits, etc.

The pizza Napoletana was delicious. The coffee was OK. The ambiance is very Soho Italian deli and is absolutely delightful. Staff extremely friendly, however they are so busy that you do have to wait to be served. As I said, they are so friendly you don't mind waiting.

Nothing quite like it! The food, atmosphere, and staff, it's all very authentic Italian. I had some of the best cold-cut meat and cheese here and the coffee is amazing. But at the end of the day it's the warm friendly atmosphere that makes it awesome 👌

Perfect spot to isolate from the cold, concrete-like London. If you are lucky enough to get a table (it can get a bit busy sometimes) in this place on a sunny day, you're up for a treat. Both the offer of products to purchase and the hot meals are absolutely fantastic. I would like to emphasize how delicious their plates of pasta are, as well as their wonderful offer of cold cuts and cheese variety. I would come here almost every day if I could! Thank you for bringing the Mediterranean spirit into central London.
