Best doormen and bar staff. We live around the corner and come here every couple of weeks and always have so much fun and the warmest welcome. I would recommend this as a great chilled but fun bar. There's room to dance and room to sit and the drinks are good value. After 12 years in London, this is a bloody awesome local!!

We usually go for pre drinks before we have a curry but the curry went right out the window because they had a DJ so spent the night dancing away had a great time just seemed a shame it wasn't that busy the staff were all friendly and had a little boogie behind the bar !! My head is suffering this morning lol

Came here for my birthday lunch and it was amazing! The food was insanely good and well priced and the staff were all really friendly. The pub is a lovely space with great energy and I’ll definitely be coming back!
What a great experience. Dean made our family day so special. Best Sunday roast we have had in Britain. Not joking. Hotel has a great vibe and very friendly staff. Highly recommend this fine establishment.

The pub staff were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, sophie greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was exceptional. My drinks were always filled, but my order had been messed up however, Sophie was kind enough to rectify the problem. It’s clear that they take pride in their work, and their genuine enthusiasm added a delightful charm to my evening. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to make my visit enjoyable. Kudos to the pub staff for their exceptional service! I’d definitely be back on a Friday just for her
Came on Sunday for some drinks and food with family and kids, wasn’t sure on what to order. The lovely bar lady Sophie was very friendly and welcoming. The way she was with the kids was just fab. My youngest son hates veg, somehow the bar lady got him to eat all his veg then showed him a magic trick which she pulled out a sweet from behind her ear😊 my son was so impressed so yes we will be coming back with family and definitely bring the kids they loved her. Great pub and atmosphere. Having the live music and pub quizzes is fun. Staff are always on hand to make sure you’re having a good time, Sophie in particular is always welcoming and provides great service.
Came on Friday afternoon, lovely place, absolutely delightful staff, made me and my kids feel so accommodated. Sophie in particular was excellent. She brought drinks to my table to save me from getting up and leaving the little one alone and found some bits and pieces for the older two to “help” her with. Food was great (even though most ended up knocked onto the floor 🙄) but again Sophie was quick to tidy up after us! The music was great, the football was on, pints were pouring… just a proper pub atmosphere. Me and my wife moved from Dublin to East Dulwich in 2018 and seen a ton of changes in the local area but I think the new management at the bishop has finally given us what East Dulwich needed! Great staff like Sophie, quality food and drinks and a real pub buzz!

amazing music and atmosphere on a saturday. The staff are incredibly fast and funny. Stan has to be my favourite of the bunch, constantly having us laughing. 10/10 great time.

Me and my family had a great Sunday lunch and very special and attentive service by a staff member called Rodrigo.
He seems to have lots of experience in how to make sure a customer experience is done with great standard.
The food and drinks were great, definitely coming back. Well done
I had a lovely time here all the staff was lovely one stuck out the most a lady called Sophie she recommended some food and boy it was good I had the honey hot wings and the jerk burger, the chips are also really well done big shot out to the chef I can't wait to come back here again I could defo make this my local
The Bishop is one of my favourite pubs in Dulwich. They have a very good variety of beers, a massive screen to watch football matches, a delicious fish and chips, the atmosphere in there is great, there's live music and the staff are very friendly too, specially a guy called Rodrigo, as he's always so happy to see his customers, including myself. 😀
