I dont know why this place has got such a low score, great food and now that it is on deliveroo i dont even leave my house, the food arrive hot unlike every other place i seem to order
I went here for the third time last Thursday, and as usual had a lovely experience at this Korean, family run restaurant. We’d booked ahead and my mum who can’t eat various things such as gluten, garlic and onion told them ahead of time just to see if there was anything she could eat. When we arrived they’d written a list of all the dishes she could eat and were very keen to make sure she felt comfortable etc (lovely service!).
Most of us had Bibimbap which is one of my favourite dishes, and all loved our food. We also tried a few of the side dishes too such as crispy seaweed and kimchi. Two of us tried some of the mock tails - one with lychee and one a take on a mojito and these were great. The chap ssal deok was also super yummy too - a great little dessert packed with chocolate-y goodness.
All in all I had a really lovely experience, and it was a great way to celebrate my birthday. Points for the lovely spacious set up to!
This was my first trip to a Korean restaurant (those 'street food' places don't count) and although I got on the wrong bus to get there, it was worth it.
It was super busy on Friday night so I'm glad we booked but we were served quickly and impressed with the level of service offered.
In particular, we loved the carafe that the wine came in, a weird bong type item filled with ice that started the meal off perfectly.
I was disappointed with the 'corn crackers' (basically crisps) and seaweed which was literally strips of nori on a plate but the dumplings (although not looking too appetising) were delicious. Nothing compared to the beef bulgogi though. It was seriously seriously good. Perfectly marinated and cooked meat, it was super tender and so good we had to drink the sauce off the plate. We had to. It was a matter of emergency.
The whole meal was awesome and we will 100% be back.
A real hidden gem with cracking food and prompt service.
Korean is fast becoming one of my favourite cuisines, I gotta say. Their home made steamed pork and veg dumplings (Hana Mandu) were SO good. Yet another thing I need to learn how to make. And eat. And make and eat and make and eat and EAT.
A serendipitous find, Hana Korean restaurant seems to be a well kept secret. Great quality food, fabulously spicy, and good value too. I’ll be trying one of the meaty barbeque dishes (a bulgogi) next time...
I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and have usually had a good experience here. The food was good, with a few hits and misses. The Japchae is great for starters and the chicken bulgogi is a must-try for the mains. The black sesame ice-cream is also good. I would recommend this restaurant.
This place in my opinion is perfect if you are looking for an intimate location. This is quite a reputed restaurant and is generally reviewed pretty high for its hygiene. The restaurant is pretty amazing and lives up to the high popularity. The interiors are pretty casual and simplistic,the service is quick and the staff well informed and good!
The menu houses some of the most amazing dishes and i believe that they taste great!
This is a fancy place to check out and i would recommend trying the BBq beef and Korean pear juice.
I came to this place for the first time in February 2014 and have been visiting this place regularly ever since. The first thing that I order upon reaching this place is their Hana Mandu which takes 15 minutes and is cooked fresh. Among other things that I usually go for are Honey plum tea, Beef Bibimbap and some Green tea ice cream to finish with.
They serve absolutely delicious food and it is generally served on time.
I found the restaurant to be absolutely delightful. It is a fantastic Korean restaurant with great food, impeccable service and more than generous portions. The tip was automatically added to the bill which i am not so fond of. among the many dishes we tried, we loved the dumplings and the seaweed.
The restaurant serves excellent sea food. The food is so good that it is almost excusable for the service to be slow. The staff is friendly. the place is understaffed for it has become quite popular is generally full. The ambiance is cool and fun. The prices are reasonable hence a good deal for money.
I had a great birthday night out. This place has a great menu and some amazing choices to choose from. They house some exciting meat and sea food options. The food is prepared to perfection and presented beautifully. The ambiance of this place is very enjoyable and warm. It has an informal and relaxed appeal to it. All of the food came in time and was wonderful!
I am coming here from past last very long and I am always surprised by the quality of the food which these guys provide us.
The staff is very good and the waiters are always ready to help you. There is a selection of super awesome pallet tingling kimchi which is superbly fantastic. Must try!
I have never tried Korean food before, so this was my first attempt at Korean delicacies, and thankfully, I was not disappointed. The food here was delicious. We were a party of four people and ordered two bottles of wine and two courses each. Although, it turns out to be a bit on the expensive side, but it was worth the money. I definitely recommend a visit, and will myself make more.
This wasn't the place we were planning to go to, but couldn't resist when we saw the lovely food listed on the menu. We ordered a lot of food, and everything was just delicious, and very filling. The food was a little bit on the expensive side but that was okay, considering how lovely the food was.
Great neighbourhood restaurant with freshly cooked and tasty food. The dumplings are heavenly and the only drawback we've discovered is that the service can be a bit haphazard when the restaurant is busy.
A friend took me to this restaurant, never having eaten Korean food. The food is cooked fresh and delivered to the table in good time. We ordered a few dishes to start with and they were so good we order another two. I was really blown away by this place. . I must say the food was delicious especially the prawn dumplings. We had a fairly wide selection of dishes and everything was first rate. The service was attentive without being intrusive, the atmosphere was pleasant.
Food is amazingly authentic. My favorite is the kimchi jeon and the bulgogi and man the portion of the bulgogi 🙌🏻
Very nice pleasant place! The food is amazing, one of the best places I've been to. The quality of the food is really good and prices are fair. The service is friendly and fast. Definitely will come again!
Had a great bibimbap here. It was brought in a skillet that keeps the food cooking a bit while you eat which is amazing. The beer was also great.
I discovered Hana a couple of years ago and every time I come it's a fantastic experience.
Hana is located in the heart of Clapham junction, just a few minutes away from the station. It's a family owned business and you can feel it when eating there.
Food is fresh and delicious. Portions are adequate and staff are friendly.

The yangyeum chicken was really delicious. I recommend you get that. Also the green breeze mock tail is very refreshing.

I was excited when I spotted they served cold noodle, I've been looking for that in London for a long time and this is the first time I found it. But it served with plenty of ice cubes, the beef is tough and probably just 4 slices of it. What supposed to be buckwheat noodle is completely white in colour, which is bizarre.
The chicken udon is average, the best thing is the kimchi.
Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, the barbecue on the next table looks good though
We visited this restaurant a year ago and every thing we ordered was amazing. This year we had it pinned as a must. But we did not enjoy the food taste and quality and quantity as last year. The noodle soup was taste less, the rice was also lacking taste. The pan fried dumplings were burned and tasted awful. Fried Chicken was ok but not as good and small quantity. Prices are very expensive for the quality and quantity. Will think twice to visit again.
Friendly, prompt service. Fresh quality ingredients - and key, food served at the right temperature. Super clean and hygienic. Definitely try the Kim Bop and Crispy Fried Chicken for starters.

The dishes that I had were great and showed no signs of shortcuts, I know that everyone will love the Yang Yeum chicken.

A wonderful little Korean restaurant. If you're willing to fork out a little extra, it's very much worth the high level of work that goes into making everything look (and taste) great! The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are friendly. It's the perfect place for a date or catch up with friends. I will definitely be going again!
My first time here...food was delicious...service was very good,nice atmosphere..looking forward to my second visit. Was little bit expensive
Korean food is one of my favourite cuisine, I love this place, it’s unpretentious, and the food is so good I have cravings just thinking about it. My favourite local to have lunch while reading my newspaper on a Saturday. I highly recommend the tofu, pork and kimchi, my go to lunch.
The Korean dishes seemed well executed and portion size was good.

Ordered mint tea as a drink, kimchijeon as a starter and Beef bulgogi and Samgyetang as main dishes.
Samgyetang was a little blend but beef bulgogi was super tasty and good portion!
Kimchijeon was a little smaller than I expected … but other than that, it was a lovely experience ! Btw loved the mint tea.
I will go again and try other menus as well soon 😁
